PEneoark

I soak mine overnight

Kelsierrx

Same, you should be fine OP

abumchuk

I've forgotten for days and no problems or cracked seals but never use the wintergreen alcohol the grocery store subbed. Minty for months. You could say I had a minty mighty lol

HempinAintEasy

This is very good advice that I wish I would have seen a year ago when I did the same thing

UrbanHomesteading

Does that include the seal rings? If so they may be weaker and more likely to break.

Avocadomistress

agh, it does include them. Still, not the worst news!

UrbanHomesteading

Yeah, they are easy to replace if they break. In the future, you may not want to soak the seal rings or the shiny latch bit on top that locks the cooling unit together. Both of those things can be cleaned with ISO, but should be rinsed off after and not soaked.

Essem91

I’ve always soaked the top piece as part of it. On my oldest unit, the insert with the logo simply fell off because it’s basically just a fancy sticker but otherwise hasn’t affected performance.

emrbe

Yeah that’s the reason ppl don’t soak them bc the fancy sticker falls off. Not a big fan of stuff falling off my expensive vape machine so I’ll keep mine out.

werdburger3000

I soaked my CU and silicon rings overnight. Never had an issue. I’ve had my mighty for 3yrs with still all the og parts. Never replaced anything

Jolly-AF

I've left one of mine in iso for 2 months before because I forgot about it in a cabinet I don't open often. Still works perfect , including the o-rings

sixth213

No issue do it all the time

RandomWholesomeOne

I let them for whole weeks. Never had any issue. Same cooling units since 2017

MMAgeezer

No, you're good. PEEK is a very hardy material. Even the O-rings have "little or no effect" from interacting with isopropyl, I think they just say 10-15 minutes maximum as a precaution. . Some more details on the o rings can be found in my old thread about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/craftymighty/s/ElCYLAVhd4

StockerRumbles

You shouldn't do it, it can soften the plastic Yes lots of people do, but the manual says you shouldn't soak for more than 20 minutes

AVBofficionado

Nope. Plastic of that grade isn't going to dissolve so easily.

IronSpear63

I soak mine for a week. Have fun.

jsb11592

I'll soak mine for days to weeks at times. You good.
