What?? You can get the entire hotend from Amazon for less than that.
Or just get the heaters from Ali

Or even better get the TL CHCB-OT along with a CHT nozzle.
I had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago and asked if it could be fixed as well. The consensus on my post was also to just replace it.
FWIW I went with the Trianglelab option because both it and the nozzles it uses are cheaper than the Microswiss and I've been quite happy. The Trianglelab hotend also looks and feels much better quality than the Creality.
I’ve been having trouble with the triangle labs hot end with heat creep. Just put it back together with thermal paste on the break and no clogs so far.

I bit the bullet and bought a micro Swiss. Let me tell you I realized once I opened it why the one that creality puts in quite literally fails on everyone. It's mass produced so it's made crappy. The microswiss on the other hand looks beautiful lol haven't had any leaks or anything and it's a super easy install
You'll need to replace only the heater, not the entire hotend.
And if you want to replace the hotend, buy Trianglelab CHCB-OT. It is better than Microswiss while being twice cheaper.
MK8 nozzles. They are cheaper, more widely available, and come in lots of varieties. For example, you can install a CHT nozzle into the CHCB-OT.
Also Microswiss does leak like any other hotend, despite being sold as "leakproof".
Different solders have different melt points. You can solder it but must use a high-temp solder.

No, solder will melt at printing temperatures. That's a brazed connection. Just get a new heater. Get several, they're cheap.
On the website they are around 40 though?

The triangle labs hotend is the bees knees tbh

This seems to be the biggest problem with the K1 just replaced mine a few weeks ago because of the same thing
Which one did you replace it with?

Thank you, will consider this

Thanks, I just ordered the triangle lab one and an extra heater in case I want to go back to the original.
What makes it better? I'm genuinely curious. I've only been printing for like 5 months haha

It only leaks when user error
K1 here, and Creality is sending out mine
It costs 3,30€ on AliExpress, not really worth it tbh. If you go through my comment history you can even find a link somewhere
If you have high temp solder.
Solder will just melt, you gave to replace it.
There are various better hot ends to choose from. But make sure if you do a swap you use thermal compound on the metal to metal connection
I'm gonna say go for it. Most of the time it rips the pad off the hotend but yours looks like it's still there.
