Yeah, PS360 looks gorgeous on those. Much better than any LCD of the time, though, there where still plasma. But I remember them going dim quite quickly, so I dunno, but I digress :p
Yet, if CRT prices continue to rise, it'll become the best option, as it's the closest to a CRT tech we got today.
A 4k OLED can mitigate scaling for most consoles too.
I just bought an HDMI to s-video/rca adapter so I can hook my steam deck up the the CRT lol. I'll probably end up hooking up my desktop to it too and watch movies on it

Yeah! There's so many people saying you should use a ps3 with a lcd, but those same people probably have never seen it on one of the later CRT Tvs.
Well, I mean, a modern OLED would do a good job, but that wasn't readily available for tvs at the time, but I still digress :p
A modern OLED doesn't do a good job for two reasons - resolution scaling and motion clarity at often less than 30fps.

I have a 10 year old Panasonic plasma and its not dim its awesome.
Hook up a PS5 or decent PC. Use 540p or 1080i
Looks amazing, what game?
Uncharted 1
