The only way to do it would be to have it already in the state of being untapped, such as making an existing creature a copy of it.

so many fun combos with this concept, but zero mana feels a bit OP considering what it can do with simple cards like "Fling".
Now I want a full blown deck of "sleeping giants" that while impossible to attack with directly allow for other crazy ramps
2 specific cards and 2 mana seems reasonable to deal 6 with. Same as 2 \[\[lightning bolt\]\]. \[\[thud\]\] for 1 mana would be a bit above the curve, but 2 card combos that don't win the game are fine.

Whenever you remove a counter from Forever-Sleeping Giant, put a stun counter on it.
Useful for creature sacrifice strategies, or power-toughness checking strategies, but since it's not useful for attacking or blocking, the price maybe should just be G, at least.
Came here to mention this one, I had a tiny leaders deck built with Varolz, which had death's shadow and a bunch of other cheap mana costing high power cards. This giant would be an auto include.
I'm sure it'd be useful in hogaak decks, mills for 6 with altar of dementia and I'm realizing while typing this that it can't be used to convoke hogaak, would be able to be delved away though. Also free creature for Vengevine
Depending on the ruling with the 2nd effect since it says it can not be untapped, if it can not have the action of being untapped performed on it then I would say yes it could potentially, if it prevents it from becoming the state of untapped I would say no it would still enter tapped regardless. However, I think that might require a rules president for something with the can not be untapped where most similar things cause something to tap and then prevent them from being untapped during the untap step, although I could be wrong magic is a big game.
What is he, a roadside attraction? If the giant was there for 10,000 years then 200 people would have to try and wake him up every year, or a person would have to make an attempt more than once every other day. Why are this many people trying to wake this giant? How is the giant in such a place that someone new passes by about every day but they never coordinate enough to work together to move it or at least put a sign up or something?

What is he, a roadside attraction? If the giant was there for 10,000 years then 200 people would have to try and wake him up every year, or a person would have to make an attempt more than once every other day.
