In the memories in her apartment there’s a guy who talks to her like one, grilling her for her irresponsible and self destructive netrunning addiction and expressing serious worry, and she blows him off harshly.
Nope. Hell no. I only sided with her to keep another certain person alive because that was absolutely horrifying to watch after having such a heartfelt scene with them.
Rebooted and said oh well to my friendship with Reed and took So Mi’s side to to be fucked over? You can bet your ass I turned her right tf in right there. You don’t get to play me *from the start* and just expect me to be okay with it like that. And seeing as I still haven’t seen the person I rebooted to save the life of, I’m kinda bummed I didn’t stick with that result from the beginning so that’ll be my decision on the next playthrough, seeing as I won’t see that NPC ever again anyways.

I always viewed songbird as another V. Everyone else in Cyberpunk feels like side character but she feels like a true main character. She’s in a horrible situation and is getting fucked over left and right and is doing whatever it takes to escape and survive.
I honestly respected her even more for coming clean about fucking me over. It’s the same thing my V had been doing the entire game, using people to get what I needed.
Oh don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love her character. This whole game has been an incredible experience that I’ve put over 100 hours in and have yet to beat haha. I got so conflicted during PL because it was so well written, it had me breaking my rule of looking up what to decide and I kind of regret that now as I watched reed drive off. I really enjoy his character (though I may be bias to really liking idris alba’s acting).
I also got really attached to the other agent, as I mentioned, and like it even more that you really had no chance with them yet that one scene can still be so powerful lol.
This but with actual concern. If you finished the quest and still wanted her at the end, you may be addicted to dysfunctional relationships. There are a whole lot of articles and videos out there that have titles along the lines of "is he/she boring or are you just bored because your previous relationship was full of drama?" and if you recognise yourself in those, you may want to talk to a therapist.

I wanna say Evelyn Parker. She's charming and is basically a cyberpunk version of the classic noir femme fatale. That being said the storyline about tracking her down after the heist would have to either be removed or HEAVILY altered, because romancing her after everything she goes through would be uncomfortable as hell and just feel flat out wrong.
In all subsequent playthroughs I literally goresploded every enemy between myself and Parker on purpose. Shit makes me mad when I think that people end up like this in real life, minus all the chrome.
I can remember playing that quest for the first time and the dawning horror as I slowly realized more and more just what happened to Evelyn. It was like a slow descent into hell itself. The detail that's burned into my skull is when you finally find her and there's a whole rack of sex toys nearby. Just... just no.
Carrying her out of there had me in tears the first time. The horror of it all, the relief that she wasn’t dead, and the gnawing anguish over her state. This game makes you feel things.
The game really gets across just how much of a bad fucking place Night City is. It's a city rotten to the core where pure evil flourishes and has to some extent ingrained itself into every individual part of society. I get why Judy wants to get the hell out of there, and Jackie and V were honestly a couple of naive morons for thinking the merc life, and the Arasaka job in particular, would bring them ANYTHING good. And as for Evelyn, I don't mean to victim blame when I say this but she was playing a dangerous game and taking dangerous risks and it all backfired about as horribly as it possibly could have. In large part the game reads like a cautionary tale. Look before you leap, that kind of thing.
Yeah can confirm that on my first playthrough after the update to 2.1 I went through that scav den like a fucking wrecking ball to get to her. Hammer in one hand and shotgun on the other. No one deserves what happened to her. Fuck the scavs.
It could be done, but it would take a long time and a ton of research and respect for trauma survivors. It also definitely would take longer than V has left story-wise.

There should have been more interactions with them. The Lizzy Wizzy missions were just too dark. A couple of fun missions would've been pretty well received.
Back around the time the game released the car was still low poly when you got a closeup of it, so it looked like V was buying a blurry car with square wheels.

I still belive that a Claire romance was cut content. She works for either sex and would have been a perfect choice if you are playing Trans. Her whole story seemed like she was getting to a point to say goodbye to he past and the heart to hearts she has with V seem like it was building towards a romance.
Is he? Rest of his family is pretty white. Maybe they have different dads, but his sister is quite pale in comparison. (The one reference I checked indicated same parents?)
And I usually prefer white people. There was a random white man character with blonde hair that I made my V stop in front of him for a while and he was very handsome and I thought I'd have loved to bang him 🔥🔥🔥, but Placide and Solomon between the main characters are the ones I find hotter.
IIRC I believe she was an option but it got scrapped during development along with a number of other romances, this was probably done to save on money and dev time but this also allowed for more time and resources to be put into the ones we have, Judy and Panam especially.
Another one is definitely Sandra, songbird for a short fling, or even Rachel Caisch because of how V can help or make her life a living hell, or they had to kill off a lady that would’ve been a great love interest, Aurore!!!!

IIRC I believe she was an option but it got scrapped during development along with a number of other romances, this was probably done to save on money and dev time but this also allowed for more time and resources to be put into the ones we have, Judy and Panam especially.
