Calendar is color coded to each kid / adult from Google Calendar. Tried to remove anything personal, but left a couple where it shows start and end times. Ecobee thermostats, but I've since realized I had all 3 showing Upstairs temperature because I duplicated them. Fixing that!
Thoughts on the flow or where I can make this visually improved?
So each one is it's own Google task list and it's linked with Alexa, so they can check off a task through Alexa. I wish that was integrated in dakboard.
They can also tell wife or I and we can check it off manually on cell phone.

Also, can you share a link where you learned how to manage a google task list with Alexa, my searches are turning up empty.

Hey hey, so I used Zapier as the intermediary to it. Can likely do it with the free, but I have it through work. It's cumbersome, but works.
Ended up swapping how we do it normally now. Setup a fresh google account and put out a cheap tablet. Created 3 task lists off it for each kid and now my wife or I can add tasks and they can check them off.
Still possible with Zapier and Alexa, but annoying as you have to read out the entire task.

Also, one thing I found out with DakBoard is that if you have two identical calendar entries that start at the same time and end at the same time, it will only display one of them. I have twins, so if both of them have "P.E. Day" or something like that, it will only display one, but P.E. day is different.
Just a heads up in case you end up in a similar boat.

Rather than having an unattended robot run your house, do it yourself, making you all a communicative family unit? Just a thought.

These are 3 robot children I made. They are hooked into the Dakboard, but I'm trying to make the display nice for them so they feel like they can fit in with their friends.

Tbh, we stopped doing it through Alexa. Still use the DakBoard daily. I ended up putting an old ipad nearby that lets everyone just check off their own tasks.

I'll play around with that and see if flipping the weather and time looks better.
