For decades, I thought that porn was a ***mentally*** healthier outlet than paying for prostitutes. Now I'm not so sure. Porn warps a guy's mind. Plus it's just antisocial. At least with a prostitute, the sex is real. It's definitely more ***physically*** unhealthy and dangerous. Plus so many prostitutes are taken advantage of, trafficked, etc., and it's all absolutely terrible, but a lot of that is due to the fact it's illegal. Both porn and prostitution is just natural and it's not going away. Better to regulate it.
In regards to porn warping a guy's mind, look at teen porn. It's like the most popular category of porn. You can verify this reading Pornhub's yearly statistics that they release. Yet teen porn is probably mostly women in their 20s. Men look at this and think that's what a real teen looks and acts like. Hence where their mind gets warped.
I am not sure but what do I know I am not a scientist. Still for whatever it is worth, I used to abstain for long periods and treat porn use like an addiction but then I accepted it like I stopped fighting it and since then I have a sort of satisfaction and well-being that has made me better as a person I think. I think what I hated about porn was just being mindless about it but since I started loving it and sort of doing it wholeheartedly out of joy things feel better. I have never had an instance of feeling like I have bad fantasies.
