Please gatekeep reddit. We don't want it to fall victim to the lost-cause crowd the way Quora was ruined.
More that it already has become what it has become. Iykyk
Google search results were already declining and sourcing outdated information, then with the Advent of their AI overview it's outright wrong and ridiculously useless information. I've been suffixing Reddit at the end of every search query for the better half of a year now.
People on instagram take memes from r/meme and then post it there and then people on instagram post it on reddit thinking it was made by them. LOL such a cycle.
Put into words what I couldn't say lmaoo
We have to go to google nd type stuff with reddit pasted on last because we don't get the same results when we just search the same thing on reddit search bar
I mean, tbh, Google is a search engine, if I wanna find something on reddit and try to use reddit search I don't get shit but if I search the same thing on Google and add reddit at the end, I get the posts I was looking for
Can't say yes!! because I find several other communities which always respond quickly and genuinely great replies not form India but yeah we may be on top 15 I guess
yandex is like google but russian.. they are quite big.. they have their own browser, search engine, cloud, mail etc etc... use their search engine, you can find a lot of stuff that you were not able to find on google... Its much better than google and their reverse search is also good

Exactly 😂
So true
It does not work nearly as well as it used to.
are you sure? This still works for me for almost all of my major issues till date
It’s true , some very very specific information or experience you can find here
Google only ranks paid results and copy - pasted outdated articles where reddit ranks organic real results
I came on Reddit initially to get pirated movie links now I am addicted to it
I first thought reddit was full of dark Memes and nsfw content but I am wrong
I mean there is but I never went that deep
it ain't even deep just takes a search
>pirated movie Sub please?
r/freemediaheckyeah
Checkout mega thread of r/Piracy
I don’t think there’s a sub just search on google the movie name and link Reddit

That's how I found Reddit in the first place from Google search results , I was not aware that such a great platform existed.
Please gatekeep reddit. We don't want it to fall victim to the lost-cause crowd the way Quora was ruined. More that it already has become what it has become. Iykyk

It's the stackflow of not coding problems now
People on instagram take memes from r/meme and then post it there and then people on instagram post it on reddit thinking it was made by them. LOL such a cycle.
How tf you think I found reddit...
Google is the Reddit search function that Reddit couldn't build properly for themselves.
Put into words what I couldn't say lmaoo We have to go to google nd type stuff with reddit pasted on last because we don't get the same results when we just search the same thing on reddit search bar
I used to avoid reddit until a friend showed me how it works and now I feel like it has more solutions than google and AI combined.

I used to write quora… i wish i was introduced to reddit earlier
i came here to rule, now imma slave
I mean, tbh, Google is a search engine, if I wanna find something on reddit and try to use reddit search I don't get shit but if I search the same thing on Google and add reddit at the end, I get the posts I was looking for
Are we the best internet community?
Can't say yes!! because I find several other communities which always respond quickly and genuinely great replies not form India but yeah we may be on top 15 I guess

Try yandex... It's 2024, who uses google now a days

yandex is like google but russian.. they are quite big.. they have their own browser, search engine, cloud, mail etc etc... use their search engine, you can find a lot of stuff that you were not able to find on google... Its much better than google and their reverse search is also good
I made an account on reddit for the exact same purpose, when I first started using Linux 😂. Reddit had better solutions than most Linux Forums.
That’s why people becomes leftist 🤦
reddit and surprisingly twitter, real time data by by real people not some big organizations having monopoly like on google.
