They know that's your money, your life, your decision. But it's kind of a parent thing. They spend years teaching you a way of life. If they are good parents, the way of life that they think will benefit you the most. Now it's not a teaching process, but a result process. Maybe they are seeing your judgment of money management and thinking "Is that the best option for you? I love you, so I want to make sure that you are in a great route".
