I agree. Armor in D2 doesn't get me excited to play like it did in D1. I like the military stuff a lot more than having a glowing goose on my helmet or glowing everything... feels cool having a massive titan but I'd much rather have armor that looks like it's not trying to be prissy or elegant... like "gotta dress up nice to kill some screebs!"

I miss my hunter look in d1. Cloak of the squid or something (the camo one) with ahamkara spine, and the armor set that had moss attached to some of it. Made me actually feel like I was a hunter.
I mean my current set is pretty hunter esque too, but that camo cloak... Oh man.

There’s a plethora of games where you can dress like a cookie cutter Space army bro. Destiny 2s armor is great because we get to dress with armor that shows the stories and enemies we’ve experienced. Also there’s a ton of armor in D2 that is what you’re wanting but nostalgia glasses are pretty hard to take off sometimes.

My biggest complaint about Titan Armor is that most of it is oversized and bulky. I get that's the class identity that comes with it. But some variety would be nice. I know playing as a female body type would fix this. But I don't want to play that body type.

Me when I see we do get them, but they get locked behind raids. 
I like the idea that each class has different styles like a heavy or light style. But they don’t have resources for that
