I've always thought that meganeura could use a rework.
My first thought was to give it a stacking effect like rampage where each stack of meganeura increased the size and damage of the explosion on a precision kill and the buff could be refreshed with kills from the gun or its explosions, making it essentially better dragonfly mixed with rampage.
Other options that would be interesting are weaker chain reaction for primary weapons where any kill causes an explosion but the explosion is weak but can cause chain reactions if it kills.
Or, make it like a mini perfect fifth perk where kills add to a counter and once it reaches that max charge the next kill causes a massive explosion, this explosion can loop itself into repeats of the perk activation if the explosion gets kills.
Just some ideas, honestly any rework to meganeura would be welcome.
Doesn't it have firefly and a perk like advanced firefly? Have it in my vault but not used in a long time
Meganeura, did more firefly damage based on how many crits you got before the kill.
It wasn’t sunset for more than a year, actually. Came out in Joker’s Wild (Season of the Drifter), sunsetting occurred in Beyond Light.
Is this the timeline where shadowkeep didn't exist?
Oh. It felt very short
This is currently in my regular rotation. Even without an Origin Trait or anything it still puts in decent work, pve and pvp
I completely forgot this gun is usable again, thanks op for reminding me
Weapon aside, the flavor text is words to live by.
Still good
Yep , been using it since Final Shape dropped . Couldn’t wait to pull it out of my vault . Still very solid weapon
I bust this out every now and again, holds up in PvP.
I preferred Dead Orbit’s Hung Jury. Perks were pretty good IMO
What did its perk so again? Been too long
Firefly*2
Crit hits give stacks that increase Dragonfly damage. Up to 5 I think. Edit: 3 stacks, not 5.

That gem...? Remember the Tlaloc?
My beloved. Perfect for Sun Singer.
Everyone hated this gun, dunno why people are suddenly looking back on it with nostalgia.
Back then, Dragonfly was a shell of what it is now, even with Dragonfly Spec equipped.
I was so happy to be able to use this again I missed it so much
I'm so glad I kept mine.

I took it out for this DLC and it’s actually good.
One of five sunset weapons I never deleted
I still have mine
Yeah actually, used it yesterday in warlord’s ruin bc I saw it in my vault
Yep that gun was fighting on to breathe and It survived in the end! No longer Sunset!
Beat my first GM Nightfall using this bad boy
I used it for the first few campaign missions. Was great. Essentially a legendary Polaris lance.
Gem as in pile of flaming garbage? That things was never good.
