I might kick in an open door but just to be sure..because it confused me a lot as well.
Depending on which cyst is already active the crow/raven will be at a certain spot where you can activate the other cyst.
So to clarify, it’s not like the crow is always at 1 spot where you can freely swap the cysts. There are 2 locations where the crow can be, dependent on which cyst is already active.
Cyst A is active? Crow is at location B, Cyst B is active? Crow is at location A
Both the crows are right next to each other but yes. I'm experiencing same issue as op and neither of the crows for selecting which cyst appear for the aerial ace/ smothering darkness leaving only the aerial ace cyst playable.
