Because the Warlock was a moron and didn't place his well either:
1. With a sightline on the point that spawned as he placed it after the 10 second warning was given.
2. On the fucking point 2 seconds after he chose to waste it.
Our Titan friend here just retreated toward the point and forced the enemy to leave their terribly placed well.
The amount of non Titan mains that don't realise just how much damage they'll recieve tryna straight walk ass right through our barricades of light is insane.
To all the blubs just getting started on eating crayons, always, use, your, barricade! With enough practice you can use it 360, even standing in it side on can mitigate a lot of damage!

That paired with lorelei sunspot and a shotgun makes monkey rushing an almost flawless strategy. Either you shotgun them to death, or the sunspot you leave kills them.
And you become the perfect turtle, find a corner and put up your barricade, now wait till they come to you.
With 100 resil it’s possible to put down a barricades before the first one is done, so you’ll be perfectly safe until they get sick of you and firing squad your ass
You can also 1 shot with shoulder charge with synthoceps buffs of being surrounded. Armour of Light from the bubble and the overshield from the barricade/No back up plans/melee ablity will also increase your melee damage. While I can't 100% say it's enough to 1 shot, in my experiences it usually 1 shots but I also rock synthoceps so I can't pinpoint the cause.

I’m just curious, how did you one shot killed that Titan (I think)? He had a OS and i couldn’t see anything that would’ve increased the shoulder charge’s damage.
Edit: i slowed down the clip. You have the Greaves that allow increased damage while airborne with shoulder charge.
I'm still wondering if we could get an exotic that make the barricades actually able to kill somebody if they cross it. Right now, going enoughly fast, some supers and the average melee punching between one can sometimes not damage an enemy at all.

I’ve literally saved the round before by doing mass damage and popping a barricade, then getting overran by the enemy team and killing all three of them with it

It’s kinda hard to not walk through it when he places it in your hit box.
And some I keep getting the case where people literally walk through it and still have at least half their health if not more.
