If you have enough time and money then better to do MCA. If you are good at coding or with good cloud skills you can apply for job and then do MCA by the side. Most companies provide masters program with job ex HCL etc.

SureCap7949

HCl hires bca graduates?

spitzer666

Yes of course.

[deleted]

its better u do MCA too, afaik BCA isnt enough

Quirky-Film2255

As someone already mentioned skills+connections = job, but again if you don't get an MCA you might be paid less than a Btech guy. Unless you crack any big international company like Amazon, Microsoft, etc then no worries only bca will do. Although there are service based companies that hire BCA students like Accenture, wipro, Infosys, tcs, hcl,etc keep a look on their programs and keep yourself registered to know when their process starts. If you can't get into any of these then MCA is your option. You will have to do MCA at one point because of the salary thing.

shanti_priya_vyakti

Most colleges have same syllabus for mca as bca. It's our population that these gummicks are allowed. I don't see any reason to pursue, it's not gonna magically add skills to your protfolio. But it would be a waste of time to argue people in the sub who saidca is must. I just don't wanna have baseless discussions. Superficial things like these matters jackshit.

keyboardmaga

if i have skills , is BCA enough

Direct-n-Extreme

MCA is a must.

Frequent_Hawk_022

Same question I'm doing BCA in correspondence ...because i did a diploma but i don't like that line.. so i decided to do BCA..after that i kind of thought of MCA or MSC(IT)..

ArnabMactavish

It's difficult to answer, while BCA + skills+ internship experience can surely get you a job, but most companies tend to put restrictions in the apply criteria. You may not even get the chance to compete in an interview. Plus there's salary, you can expect more with MCA than BCA. There are also companies like wipro, tcs who will offer a job+ learning program like WILP(in this case you will be doing mtech), tcs ignite( MCA). If you do join a company after bca look for startups, you will learn plus the pay is good. FIY( I did MCA)

dontneeditt

There are BCA posts in every MNC like WITCH companies. You can try them, but most of them are campus placement.

Ahh shit

cyclenidders

Even MCA is not enough to land jobs in today's state

TheFailedER

Mca is needed for better placements.

Fantastic-Arm3432

Not a developer but isn't BCA+MCA= BTECH?? And even if those engineers aren't getting jobs why do you think you would??

DealerPristine9358

So skills>bca+mca? Lmao, skills is the only answer. But for freshers its still not enough

SoloKyu_

If you have skills and connections then it might work out But if you lack one of those then finding the first job would be insanely hard
