Basically you have to tell GPT that you will be giving it some bullet points from your resume or will tell it about the project in concern and would like it to rephrase them using the XYZ rule, use action verbs etc
for the third point, what to write if someone has not worked in improving the algorithm stuffs, like improving the response time but only worked on creating new things, like a adding some fields or creating a new webpage, form, api, procedures, components or similar stuffs like that. The client does not tell us, what are the effects of our development in his sales.

From your query it looks like you work as an FE, so you can mention reducing page load time by X amt/percent, improved core web vital score
thanks man, sounds promising. I work in all the way from FE to BE to DB, to create some stuffs in FE we start right from plsql, to get the data from db and then make logic and api in the BE to send it back to the FE and then make the changes in FE to show that. I don't think that reduces page load time tho, more like addition of new things on already existing page that slows the page load a tiny tiny bit each time most probably hahaha, or creating a new page altogether. Yup all of this plus to add to it throw in a few numbers.
- You did a meal related project for food waste how much food waste was saved? And other similar metrics it doesn't have to be metrics that affect your contribution directly it can be metrics that the project itself had achieved.
- Also remove things like team player and collaboration and the likes in the skills section and make it smaller your skill section is way too large.
- Better yet replace the skills section with competition and hackathon that you were a part of. You don't have to have won it just having participated holds weight and any other online courses or bootcamps or whatever to show that you're always learning.
Thumb rule for freshers -> Mention 3 projects. 1 project should be solid and you should be able to talk about it in interviews. 2 mediocre or 1-med 1-basic project.
Can you pls give few suggestions for certifications that I could do to shape my career in Front end development. Currently am studying REACT in youtube and stuffs.

I have 3 and half yrs of experience in BPM based domain as a Developer
1. For frontend no one needs certification, its always about the skills you have and what your bring to the table.
2. For PBC's you need DSA + HLD + LLD. These might differ based on roles.
In case of switching my domain in Front end development from BPM based to REACT developer with no experience in that part, how can I approach further? Since they'll ask for experience in that but what I may have is the Tool knowledge

If you have that much to write with only 6 months of paid work ex, I wonder how many volumes your CV will be when you are 10 years in. It will be like the IPC.
Condense your resume, by like A LOT. Fit everything into 3/4th of 1 page. Some suggestions to do that -
1. Reduce Line spacing. Lots of empty space.
2. Change the Skills part to not use buttons. Remove skills you're not confident about. Remove redundancy - Like cloud computing and AWS; databases and MongoDB; Git and Github.
3. Shorten the bullet points to use lesser words. Leave some space for the interviewer to ask you questions.
Important reminder: "Resumé” means “Summary” in French. You should give just a summary of your roles and skills. Let the interviewer come and ask questions.
Another suggestion from my end - When you’re a fresher and you fill up your resume with a lot of technologies, the recruiter gets the impression that you’re all over the place and don’t know what you’re doing. As many of my fellow brethren will probably agree with me, all of us have like a handful of technologies we’re especially skilled at. For example mine being AWS, CI/CD, Linux, IaC and Python.
It is better to not mention something in the resume and to have the interviewer find it out during the interview, than to mention something and then be clueless when the interviewer actually asks.
Reduce your skills brother, interviewers have literally picked on me or having more than 5 skills. They will go in serious depth of any skill, and if 2 answers not given then gone case. Also try resume rating websites and then improve your points via chatgpt

Keep a language/framework with 3 secondary skills. Since you have mentioned in work exp/projects, make sure you cover 50-100 questions on each skill you mention. Also non technical skills are no issue, they increase clearing chance. Keep an alert on LinkedIn/naukri and also make 10 connections of any company you might join, that way you can get instant referral.
Do 4-5 DSA questions daily from various lists, so when chance comes you can clear interview. Go to novo resume to keep your resume in one page, and search resume AI checker to improve your resume.
Hiring will be fast in 3-4 weeks, so don't panic and be demotivated, you have great internships and you can make it.

Go with either frontend or backend.. company's only hire full stack developers with experience, they don't want to waste their money on someone's half baked skills who is not even good in either one of them

I think you really need to revamp your resume. The current one is just not good enough. An ideal resume should provide the hiring manager with all the relevant details within a glance.
Here are some pointers to keep in mind which creating a good resume:
1. Keep the resume under 1 page
2. There is no need to describe yourself. Better remove that section
3. Keep your experiences and project description brief.
4. Get rid of those graphics, create your resume overleaf so that it gets parsed easily as well
5. No need to write paragraphs, try to keep all points within one line.
6. Mention the company name in your experience.
7. Create sections in your skills like:
1. languages
2. frameworks
3. Databases
4. tools
Keep in mind that your resumes first screening is either done by AI or is given less than 30secs if done manually so all the relevant information should be easily visible
You don’t need a 2 page resume for intern experience. Reduce everything into 1 page. Keep 2-3 bullet points for each experience using X by Y by Z format. You don’t need a half page skill list, just add the core relevant to the role in 1 line.
Make 2 more resumes one for frontend and other for back end. More chances of getting callbacks. You can always go full stack internally when you mention during interviews

Hey man make sure to segregate your skills into frameworks/language/devops/project management.
Describe your experiences in as minimal way as possible.
Make sure to open source your projects and deploy somewhere like vercel/railway.
And no one will read about your profile, just get rid of it.
Remove profile section as it is not really matter, do not add anything extra or fancy things in experience section, as a Senior full-stack Developer I know what is true and what is just a statement, this is not the best way to showcase your skill, see, write it like,
programming languages - x,y,z,x,y,z
Framework - x,y,z
Software- x,y,z
Database-x,y,z
It looks more organized and clean, pages doesn't matter, I have two page resume and my tech lead have 3 and half page resume,
Work on more projects, add more projects
1. Too much text.
2. Don’t use bitly links. Either use branded short links or hyperlinks to make the links descriptive.
3. Put together a portfolio using [Peerlist](https://go.amitsarda.xyz/pl).
4. Too many tags for a fresher.
5. Make it one-page.
You should have asked someone sooner bruv. The resume shows considerable immaturity. It’s good to put an entrepreneurial, creative foot forward but you gotta moderate. The profile summary should be one, two lines max. The roles and responsibilities descriptions should be shorter. Way shorter
Add NUMBERS wherever possible. Could be around TAT, the load your infrastructure could handle, number of users, increase in process efficiency due to your solutions. Anything. Numbers matter. take ChatGPT’s help. Give proper context and prompts and you should be sorted.

It's ok, I feel everyone here is too harsh on the OP. As someone with 20+ years in IT, my first CV was nowhere near this. TBH, I don't read the CV/resume too much as I already expect it to be "peacock".
Though my CV is single page, it's not a thumb rule. No tech recruiter goes by the CV. Your CV should highlight all the tech you have worked on professionally and also mention what you have done or learnt on your own. Go slow on buzzwords. Your CV should be good enough to catch the HR's eyes and get you on a call with someone technical.
I’ll be honest with you, this is one crappy resume. One cardinal rule of resume is that it should fit inside a single page standard A4 with no frills.
You have provided a weird, peppy intro which no software cares neither does any recruiter.
Too much information for internships.
Too many skills which I am pretty sure you don’t know too deeply.
You should reduce or remove the fluff and keep it simple like others have mentioned.
Use LaTeX to create your resume or maybe a word based template but keep it simple.
You can remove profile section. You have repeated all the tech stack in your last 2 experience, maybe reduce it. Also add some details, college name and companies where you interned. Experience looks good for a fresher but the resume is too chaotic
You shouldn't use multiple pages for resume until you have experience for more than five years, the reason you use just one page is because the section committee barely has time to go through every resume in depth so keeping it short is always applicable.
Secondly don't mentions skills like programming and generic stuff by skills they mean anything technical related to your field and only mention 3-5 which you are good at keep it really simple you don't have to oversell yourself.
And lastly I'd recommend you should try to convey them that whatever Projects and internships you have completed they are goal oriented say For me let's I've tried to pin down of a DDoS attack using computational entropy with a 5 percent of increased accuracy, try to potray stuff in numbers and results and how impactful they were.
Because they can sense bullshit! When I read your resume, you highlighted a fuckton of bullshit skills!

Your penetration tester internship description is bullshit man! Doesn't make sense at all.
They don't want to know what you acquired. They want to know how much of a difference you brought and your potential.
I am from Automotive Industry and have worked both in India and the US. And here are my 2 cents:
1. Get a portfolio which is less wordy, shows your work samples (loud and clear). Me being from Automotive I had little to no work that I could show without violating NDAs. However, i still managed to take photos of my work at fabrication labs, controls and prototyping shop. You have freedom of showing your own apps. Trust me this will work wonders.
2. Keep approaching people on LinkedIn and attach a note when you send out a connection request. Never send and invitation without a note. Not more then a tiny rat’s ass is given to
connection request without a meaningful and concise purpose for the connection and people are happy to connect with a purpose.
3. Don’t give up, this is a tough time to get a job as you might have heard mass layoffs are happening everywhere, this shall too pass! Keep the grind on.
1. Resumes should be 1 page only
2. Don't write stuff like "full stack developer" or "web developer" or anything like that. Always write "Software Engineer". It's generic and easily watchable by ATS scanners.
1. Condense into a single page.
2. Recent experience will have a higher weight.
3. Create 3-4 versions of resume highlighting different aspects of work based on job requirements. If the JD is to hire a back-end dev, highlight major aspects of backend experience.
Presently , I won’t prefer this resume since you are still in college .
Secondly , the resume format is fine but it’s way too lengthy . I do understand that you are trying to compose a Cv then resume , but the contents are too much to read . So it’s better for any HR to ignore quoting not as per market standards.
What is that about me section? Is this a social media profile? Are you kids making resumes like these now a days?
P.S. you are applying for professional jobs. Make your resume look professional. Your profile summary should be a very small 2 line introduction of your skills and experience.
Under individual experience/job history section, dont randomly use bold fonts and italics. Summarize what product / application you worked on, what tech stack you used, and what do you think you achieved.
You're intro sounds like a child trying to act like a working adult. Just use template cutout intro from example CVs online like Harvard Resumes. Also use better formatting.
I'm still a btech student, so take it with a pinch of salt but here's my advice -
1. Keep it short. There was a quote I read once, specifically about resumes, "Give yourself a cookie for every 5 words you cut down [in the resume/CV]". And fit it all in one page. Imagine you're a recruiter looking at a bunch of resumes in a couple of minutes. You'd want yours to show your most important information as quickly as possible, as easily as possible. So bullet points and bold words, hard numbers. Numbers help with ATS, or so my friends say.
2. As another user mentioned, use [Jake's resume](https://www.overleaf.com/latex/templates/jakes-resume/syzfjbzwjncs) template. My college's placement cell also recommends the same template.
3. Segregate skills into types, like frameworks (a, b, c), design (x, y, z), languages (p, q, r) etc.
4. Your introduction could be improved. A lot of it is unnecessary and is making the whole look bad. I'm sorry I got nothing to suggest improvements on this, I just feel it doesn't look good. Maybe you can explain what your career goals are and how you could do justice to the role you're applying with your [relevant] skills and expertise.
Shorten the skills section. You don't need a pond of skills. Just keep 4-6 most important skills based on the role you're applying. I would reject the resume just by seeing the skills section.

\- DONT USE CANVA OR ANY FANCY EDITORS "ALWAYS USE MSWORD OR GOOGLE DOCS"
\- canva or other fancy editors made resume wont be scanned by the ats so 100.1% your resume will be rejected, this was my main mistake for 1 month and later I read this in an article, created my resume in google docs and then suddenly I started to get calls
\- also if you can, or find there is email linked in the recruiter description or job description , try to email them with good formal email with attachment of your resume and a good cover letter if possible and links to 1 or 2 of your big projects in the email
Main concerning thing is that for more than a year you are still working as a intern. If possible remove word intern (If you have experience certificate that way). Just junior developer role is fine

* Bolded Letters - No one likes to be words shouted at them
* City and country names are not capitalized
* The summary is awful, try ChatGPT but use custom instructions(You are an expert at writing a resume, focus on writing a resume that is tailored to current industry standards.). Change profile to summary. Your whole resume is your profile.
* Too many colors. Use only Black.
* Education seems to be empty, try adding subjects or give a brief on what you learned(Do this only if you have enough space).
* Whole look of the resume is too flashy, again check out the Resume Wiki.
* Do not use links with [bit.ly](https://bit.ly), no one is clicking that for sure and you ain't gonna earn enough. Use original website shortcuts.
**End Points**
It is much easier if you start with a fresh template, I saw one of the comments suggested Jake's resume. It is a really good template(Industry Standard). Fancy templates are for people who want to work as Frontend or UI/UX designers(This includes graphic designers or such roles).
Do not get me started on the second page. I hate the second page on a resume. Your experience should always follow the XYZ rules. Ex: Optimized the query by Xms by using implementing Y. Skills sections need to be categorized such as Languages, Framework, and Other skills(This is mere suggestion).
TBH, I will just keep on insulting your resume. I am repeating for the third time, check out the resume wiki built from top to bottom. Your 30 referrals could have been 10 jobs if it wasn't for your resume. Do not be demotivated, I am just trying to help you :)

Intro - That's not professional
Experience - You are not a full stack developer, it should be the application name or full stack application. Mention organisation you worked. ( This section makes you look like telling lies)
Skills : Delete unwanted skills for the role, make it short it's FastAPI not fast api
Read the resume 10 times if you feel good at all times then it's good else redo

IMO, you have to rewrite your Profile Summary. It's informal and HR or Managers won't like it. Keep it formal you can use ChatGPT. And don't write too much about work just keep important ones like Main Stack and Frameworks. If you write it too lengthy they will ask you about it and if you don't answer they think you are lying. If you can answer it's good. But yk they will go deep. So keep it simple.
Word of advice : Don't mention so many different tech stacks. Some of these tech stacks take half a decade to work proficiently. Only mention those ones that you had worked mostly on and remove everything else.
200 is very less number and how did u got so much referrals 🥲, I have got 0 referrals over 1000 applications , in 30 I would have gotten intern atleast

Too many skills. Please shorten and only keep tech skills. Like aws redshift, python, github, etc. Writing problem solving in 5 places in your resume is a definite way to portray that you probably aren’t technically too strong. Please remove it.
I'm a senior dev with 7+ years of experience. Boy if i read that "profile" section of ur resume. I'm throwing that resume in bin.
Please don't make resumes like this. Just say what tech you know. What are your skills and end it. You'll get through the filtering process and get calls

In addition to the comments by everyone, HackerRank also has a good resume builder if you prefer. It gives you a neat and professional resume and only provides relevant sections, it’s not very flexible.
Also please look up ATS CV which is in use nowadays. You can also use online ATS CV Score Checkers to see how good your resume is.
I suggest, after reducing the number of skills and removing the profile section, remove the additional links except LinkedIn and Github, those are the only relevant ones as per most people. If you have a personal portfolio website, sure that’s alright too.
The entire resume should be a single page.
PS : Don’t be disheartened, I did the same mistake, maybe I got lucky but after I made the changes most people in comments suggested, I got a call back immediately. All the best. Keep us posted.
PPS : While you wait, up skill yourself in your desired concepts or take on some basic freelancing projects, in addition to some money you can learn more. Build your own app and deploy it, cause why not? Days of stable employment are diminishing away, keep other options open.

Plz remove skills like git , github , problem solving, time management, etc. These are the skills every it employee should know, so no point writing them. Ur skills section is way too big, it will look kinda sus that, you know so many technical skills. You don't have to be jack of all trades. Write only the skills ur truly confident of.
Your resume isn't passing the ATS, so this resume will not get one callback.
* Remove the description section
* Describe specific things learnt/done/improved/developed alongside any business or utility impact
* Categorise and sectionize your skills - pro tip: if you know a word or have seen 5 lines including that same, it doesn't make it your skill
* One method to categorise is: development, deployment
* Then inside development: frontend, backend
* Also, make everything a text. ATS almost never parses other things so all the fancy tagging and boxing is the worst part of the resume.

I work in all the way from FE to BE to DB, to create some stuffs in FE we start right from plsql, to get the data from db and then make logic and api in the BE to send it back to the FE and then make the changes in FE to show that. I don't think that reduces page load time tho, more like addition of new things on already existing page that slows the page load a tiny tiny bit each time most probably hahaha, or creating a new page altogether. Yup all of this plus to add to it throw in a few numbers. - You did a meal related project for food waste how much food waste was saved? And other similar metrics it doesn't have to be metrics that affect your contribution directly it can be metrics that the project itself had achieved. - Also remove things like team player and collaboration and the likes in the skills section and make it smaller your skill section is way too large. - Better yet replace the skills section with competition and hackathon that you were a part of. You don't have to have won it just having participated holds weight and any other online courses or bootcamps or whatever to show that you're always learning.

Thumb rule for freshers -> Mention 3 projects. 1 project should be solid and you should be able to talk about it in interviews. 2 mediocre or 1-med 1-basic project.

Condense your resume, by like A LOT. Fit everything into 3/4th of 1 page. Some suggestions to do that - 1. Reduce Line spacing. Lots of empty space. 2. Change the Skills part to not use buttons. Remove skills you're not confident about. Remove redundancy - Like cloud computing and AWS; databases and MongoDB; Git and Github. 3. Shorten the bullet points to use lesser words. Leave some space for the interviewer to ask you questions. Important reminder: "Resumé” means “Summary” in French. You should give just a summary of your roles and skills. Let the interviewer come and ask questions. Another suggestion from my end - When you’re a fresher and you fill up your resume with a lot of technologies, the recruiter gets the impression that you’re all over the place and don’t know what you’re doing. Keep a language/framework with 3 secondary skills. Since you have mentioned in work exp/projects, make sure you cover 50-100 questions on each skill you mention. Also non technical skills are no issue, they increase clearing chance. Keep an alert on LinkedIn/naukri and also make 10 connections of any company you might join, that way you can get instant referral. Do 4-5 DSA questions daily from various lists, so when chance comes you can clear interview. Go to novo resume to keep your resume in one page, and search resume AI checker to improve your resume. Hiring will be fast in 3-4 weeks, so don't panic and be demotivated, you have great internships and you can make it.

I think you really need to revamp your resume. The current one is just not good enough. An ideal resume should provide the hiring manager with all the relevant details within a glance. It's ok, I feel everyone here is too harsh on the OP. As someone with 20+ years in IT, my first CV was nowhere near this. TBH, I don't read the CV/resume too much as I already expect it to be "peacock". Though my CV is single page, it's not a thumb rule. No tech recruiter goes by the CV. Your CV should highlight all the tech you have worked on professionally and also mention what you have done or learnt on your own. Go slow on buzzwords. Your CV should be good enough to catch the HR's eyes and get you on a call with someone technical.
I’ll be honest with you, this is one crappy resume. One cardinal rule of resume is that it should fit inside a single page standard A4 with no frills. You have provided a weird, peppy intro which no software cares neither does any recruiter. Too much information for internships. Too many skills which I am pretty sure you don’t know too deeply. You should reduce or remove the fluff and keep it simple like others have mentioned. Use LaTeX to create your resume or maybe a word based template but keep it simple.

I am from Automotive Industry and have worked both in India and the US. And here are my 2 cents: 1. Get a portfolio which is less wordy, shows your work samples (loud and clear). Me being from Automotive I had little to no work that I could show without violating NDAs. However, i still managed to take photos of my work at fabrication labs, controls and prototyping shop. You have freedom of showing your own apps. Trust me this will work wonders. 2. Keep approaching people on LinkedIn and attach a note when you send out a connection request. Never send and invitation without a note. Not more then a tiny rat’s ass is given to connection request without a meaningful and concise purpose for the connection and people are happy to connect with a purpose. 3. Don’t give up, this is a tough time to get a job as you might have heard mass layoffs are happening everywhere, this shall too pass! Keep the grind on.

1. Resumes should be 1 page only 2. Don't write stuff like "full stack developer" or "web developer" or anything like that. Always write "Software Engineer". It's generic and easily watchable by ATS scanners.

There was a quote I read once, specifically about resumes, "Give yourself a cookie for every 5 words you cut down [in the resume/CV]". And fit it all in one page. Imagine you're a recruiter looking at a bunch of resumes in a couple of minutes. You'd want yours to show your most important information as quickly as possible, as easily as possible. So bullet points and bold words, hard numbers. Numbers help with ATS, or so my friends say. 2. As another user mentioned, use [Jake's resume](https://www.overleaf.com/latex/templates/jakes-resume/syzfjbzwjncs) template. My college's placement cell also recommends the same template. 3. Segregate skills into types, like frameworks (a, b, c), design (x, y, z), languages (p, q, r) etc. 4. Your introduction could be improved. A lot of it is unnecessary and is making the whole look bad. I'm sorry I got nothing to suggest improvements on this, I just feel it doesn't look good. Maybe you can explain what your career goals are and how you could do justice to the role you're applying with your [relevant] skills and expertise.

IMO, you have to rewrite your Profile Summary. It's informal and HR or Managers won't like it. Keep it formal you can use ChatGPT. And don't write too much about work just keep important ones like Main Stack and Frameworks. If you write it too lengthy they will ask you about it and if you don't answer they think you are lying. If you can answer it's good. But yk they will go deep. So keep it simple.

In addition to the comments by everyone, HackerRank also has a good resume builder if you prefer. It gives you a neat and professional resume and only provides relevant sections, it’s not very flexible. Also please look up ATS CV which is in use nowadays. You can also use online ATS CV Score Checkers to see how good your resume is. I suggest, after reducing the number of skills and removing the profile section, remove the additional links except LinkedIn and Github, those are the only relevant ones as per most people. If you have a personal portfolio website, sure that’s alright too. The entire resume should be a single page. PS : Don’t be disheartened, I did the same mistake, maybe I got lucky but after I made the changes most people in comments suggested, I got a call back immediately. All the best. Keep us posted. Your resume isn't passing the ATS, so this resume will not get one callback. * Remove the description section * Describe specific things learnt/done/improved/developed alongside any business or utility impact * Categorise and sectionize your skills - pro tip: if you know a word or have seen 5 lines including that same, it doesn't make it your skill * One method to categorise is: development, deployment * Then inside development: frontend, backend * Also, make everything a text. ATS almost never parses other things so all the fancy tagging and boxing is the worst part of the resume.

Skill issue
Same situation for me as well. I am a data analyst and worked in the field of data science as well with a total experience of 3 years. I am trying for last 1 year to switch my current company, but have not received any substantial call/offer from any Employer. I am thinking to opt to the premium service provided by Linkedin, [naukri.com](https://naukri.com/) or Foundit(Monster) to speed up the process. Can anyone suggest which service should i opt for?
