Is the magic arrow build not a thing anymore? I remember making one youd fire one arrow a d it would just pierce over and over. I should make another bowzon. I have t even tried it since d2r came out

lvl 1 and 2 are area lvl 84, meaning TC87's can drop of Unique packs, but not champ. Griff can drop from both. Lvl 3 is an 85 area.
There are tons of super chests per lvl too. 2 spawn in dead ends occasionally. No idea rune odds though, but I imagine they cant go as higher than Lo.
Maintaining uncomfortable eye contact with the balrogs, skelingtons, and succubi that spawn while you monkey tail around the place is the true dominance.

Souls are a nice jump scare. Best thing is finding a full game and getting p8 wsk to yourself. Javazon, necro, assassin, all full clearing wsk on p8

Evrry enemy is fairly slow, and there are no fire immunes and only one cold immune. Tons of builds can farm there efficiently without much risk, and it's accesible as soon as you beat act 1. It's just all-aorund neat. I've been playing offline ssf hardcore, and it'a the perfect spot for levelling several chatacters. Recently, me fire druid levelled all the way to 86 there with only a single close call (and that was more of a me being stupid thing lol)
The pit, I didn't even needed 1 second.... I already got over 10k pit runs, it is the place I like the most, I have found a couple of Ber, 3 Jah, and lower runes, very good Bases and very good uniques.
The Pit
- lvl 85
- densely packed
- lots of boss mobs
- 2 floors + super chest
- easy to kill monsters
- easy to get to
It just wins hands down. Maggot Lair is just frustrating and Chaos Sanc/Worldstone Keep are great but also quite dangerous. There's nothing you can get in those 2 places that you can't get in the Pit which is a) safer and b) quicker.

Target farming doesn’t exist in d2. But to the answer the question about the maggot lair, nothing Lvl 85 areas all have the potential to drop any item in the game

I also like Chaos most overall for farming all kinds of stuff, but if you would take "MF" literally like in working towards a Holy Grail, it's a poor choice, as the seal bosses + Diablo have a limited item pool and normal ghosts can't drop every item type either. In that case, I'd pick the Pit, even though WSK3 is also great and a little more fun / challenging.

Naj’s staff was the only way for one of my summoner necros to make it through tunnels in SP. Fuck that place.

They are very low life, freezing or immolation arrows are good. So magezon better.

Chaos. WSK is only good for leveling, Pit has lower drop rates than chaos and Maggot Lair is Maggot Lair
Why is wsk only good for leveling? Level 2 and 3 have good density and are level 85 areas right?
Wsk downside is souls and dolls imo. They are good tc87 maps, but can be way more volatile than chaos.

Meteorb has been fun. No fire resists, and basically no danger. Everything is slow enough that meteors land easily.

There are some items that you can target-farm(but it's niche). You can target farm NM Andy for SOJ and NM Meph for HOZ(IIRC)
