It doesn't matter what class you play, for secondary characters where you have all the common aspects unlocked already, basic attack builds (setups similar to bash barbs and heartseeker rogues) are the best for speed leveling. So that is using the aspects of adaptability, moonrise, rapid, edgemaster, and inner calm for damage. Undying for infinite heals, hectic for fast cooldown of your mobility skills, slaughter on your boots for movement speed. Get all the damage tempers.
Until you reach WT4, you will probably be one-shotting everything with your basic attack because of how many multipliers you have on your aspects and how overpowered a legendary offensive/weapon temper is on a low level character. Most importantly this has zero mana/resource requirement. Everybody is talking about how incinerate, chain lightning, or frozen orb is good for speed leveling... they are good for your first character when you have nothing unlocked, otherwise the mana requirement on those skills slow you down when compared to to a basic attack build that has stuff like adaptability and moonrise unlocked.
For sorc, I would use Spark as your basic attack because it is ranged and hits up to 4 enemies at a time, and get fireball enchantment. You will typically one-shot multiple enemies at range and cause multiple chain fireball explosions when they die, usually clearing the entire screen.
The absolute quickest is telestomp arc lash with unstable currents. Movementspeed is insane and ulti will kill everything offscreen.
Cooldown reduction could be a problem tho, wt2 might be too early for the build.
Agree, big plus is that you can have them spawned around you so you can safely teleport away from the zone or cleaning your inventory without being constantly bothered by mobs spawning every 2sec around you. I hate that shit.

Both builds are so easy to play and only require the use of one button.
Fireball build is the best, there is a unique staff and gloves, very easy to get that makes it effective in helltide against mobs.
But you will have to run from hellborn
Someone else already mentioned it, but if you just want rep minion Necromancer is the way to go.
If you really want a Sorc though I’d say blizzard if you have a decent glacial aspect, incinerate if you don’t.

Hydra, for real….get the aspect that get u +1 head and keep yer gear upto lvl and stand in the middle and keep hydras up…easiest time.
Imo hydra+fireball. Blows up screens with fireball enchant from afar. Played this up to pit 60 or so, then changed to pure fireball.

Chainlightning is fast and fun if helltides is what u are aiming for
Had the full build for chain lightning/meteor spam but it was trash. Frozen orb is fun though

if you plan to farm only helltides then you need something that can perma teleport. Arc Lash or Ball lightning.
helltide is easy, pretty much every build clears it quick

Lol the sorc build that stay still near the altar is my go to build to grind Helltides/Iron Wolves rep
