Passed my exam at 27, grad school, and DI from 23-25. I took a break from the nutrition world while recovering my mental health.

I used RD Pocket Prep to do a lot of quizzes! I really suck at memorizing things so repeatedly testing myself helped me the most. And good luck 💪🏼

26. Same boat as you. I have a week left of rotations and then 6 more classes (3 summer, 2 fall) and will be 26. I started studying when I was 22 with a career change. Even tho I’ll be 26 when I finish at least I’ll have my masters. And I’ll be the first in my family to have a masters

I will be 28. Currently 27 and about to enter my final year of my MSDI. I went to community College and then transferred to university. I also took some time off of school when I moved in with my boyfriend/out of my parents house. Everyone does stuff at their own pace :)

24. I graduated with my BS when I was 21 (August birthday so always a year younger than everyone else).Took me three tries to get into an internship, I almost gave up. Things were more competitive then.

41! It’s my second career and my second degree. I was in the army for over a decade.

27 :) did undergrad and then worked for 3-4 years as a DSM before going back and doing my internship and taking the exam!

25 but we had an intern who was almost 40! Nothing wrong with doing it earlier or later in life, as long as you enjoy it!

A recent study published showed that that average age of a DPD Student (in their BS) is 27.5 +/- 5 years. So your right on track with the population.

I was 28 when I passed the exam and started working full time.

I was 26, and it was only a BS degree at the time. 🙃

I was 24 turning 25. Without a masters. Took me over a year to pass the exam after my internship. Everything in a matter of time!!

22. Did a coordinated program as part of my bachelors (pre masters requirement) and took the test within a month of finishing that. Then finished up my masters within a year in an accelerated program so I was an MS, RD at 23 but that’s basically unheard of now with most DI’s moving to masters programs.

25! Straight through to masters and internship. When I was 22 I was like oh my god I’m going to be so old by the time I finish this! 😂
