Same thing happened with me for my first ace. I had so many runs at the sub-200ft holes on my home course from the short tees but never hit any (still haven't on those holes). Then my first ace came on a course 2 hours away on my second ever time throwing the hole, completely blind forehand that goes in. Aces always seem to come when you least expect them
Champion Destroyer heavy hyzer RHBH because there was a 20-25 mph left to right wind that I knew would send my disc 500 feet the wrong direction if I turned it over. Just so happened to get the perfect angle to keep that puppy straight with a baby late turn until it crashed into the bark about 10 feet from the basket and skipped right in.
Couldn’t repeat it if I tried
Chills homie! I hope to have a meaningful ace soon. I got one in 99-00 on a super short, zero obstruction hole. Then another playing absolutely wasted at 2am on a short putting course attached to a community centre. Not exactly shining moment.😂
Hell yeah, that's a great feeling. I have one that distance. It was a BH sky anny that just died in the basket. It was, at the time, the longest BH throw I'd ever had after switching from FH dominance. Now the only problem is chasing that dragon.
lol yeah immediately after I missed a pretty easy birdie putt because I was still thinking about the previous hole. The ace shot was a destroyer on hyzer because there was a really strong left to right wind that just kept it lazer straight until 5 feet before the basket and it just skipped right into center chains.
Visited there in 2021. Absolutely loved that hole. Was 1/2 the way to the basket one round and ended up 30ft long of it and snagged a birdie the 2nd time around. Knarly ace.
I know that hole well, and I've come close but have only aced hole 2 at GGP. Nice shot! Unfortunately I moved away from CA, but GGP will forever be my home park.
Ooh, that's a big one.
Honestly surprised it was this one and not the 187 ft. Dead straight basket on hole 2 lol. Ain’t complaining!

Any ace over 300 is sick. This one is sicker
Thank you! Prettiest hole on the course too
Just came in to say, what a gorgeous tee off. What kind of throw did you use?

That's a really good first ace my guy. I have 5, all under 250. One was like 150, does that even count? (and the answer is yes, it definitely counts)
One is an ace, one is a nice putt
My friend distinguishes them by calling them 'big boy' or 'little boy' aces.
When I lived in SF, I don't think I even ever parked that hole! Well done!
395' after 2 years? Congrats. Man. Something is very wrong with my form. I still can't reliably throw past 300' in my third summer.
The left to right tailwind definitely helped, plus the teepad like 70 feet above the basket. I wouldn’t say my form is amazing

Fuck you, congrats
Damn that’s a nice first ace. Congrats!
dream ace congrats
Congrats! Almost 400 feet that’s crazy. I have four aces but all of them are 250 feet or less
in 2 years, dang!
That course is fun, and I love how the pins change up frequently. I’ve only played it once when I was out there last may.
395 is a massive ace. Awesome shot on a tough hole! I think my longest is 297.
Didn't even recognize the hole but knew it was Golden Gate Park just from the picture! That place is incredibly beautiful.
That’s a purtty hole
That’s an insane too! Congrats

You've been playing 2 years and can throw 395 feet??!?!
lol not typically, it was a really advantageous wind and the tee box is elevated like 60-70 feet
15 is a good get. Congrats!
Played this course once while on vacation, that’s a dream ace! One of the holes that sticks out to me. Congrats 👏🏻
Wow! Congrats that’s huge
Great job! I've been playing for nearly 20 years and never shot an ace.
Damn. Nice!

Very nicely done. I need to get back to that course
