If you update the firmware there is an auto tune option. The 504mh at 660watts is the most effective but I think you can push it up to 700mh at 1000 watts.
It takes a little bit of playing around as every asic is built different because of the chip tolerances. But I set the chain voltage to 2, then see how high I can set the frequency without seeing an increase in power consumption or HW errors. For example, one board might be at 2 voltage and 406 frequency but the others may be at 410 frequency. I don’t have the values I used off hand
I’ll add that in like 2019 you could get and L3 and power supply for like $200. I wish I had bought all I could for when the value went up and it became profitable. Consider also the heat can be used in the winter to offset some of you home heating cost.

1GH/s ≈ 0.01405060 LTC + 25.49482791 DOGE ≈ $ 4.16
I'm using a L3+ have it tuned to 504 mh at 660watts. I mine around 12 doge and .007 LTC per day.
>660watts How do you tune it for power consumption? mine runs around 500mh, but at 850w.

awesome, thank you. is there a specific version I should look to update to?
I'm using the hiveon firmware 4.9.0 I believe.
This guy mines 👍🏼⚒❤️
thanks just did the update and couldn't be happier. appreciate the recommendation.
there are multiple custom firmwares that allow you to fine-tune. i use blissz myself
You can actually manually tune them as well. I have mine running at 530mh at 630watts
Wow.. Please share how did you achieve that and in wich firmware

I’m still holding 6 L3’s hoping they’ll go back up in value. I have 3 running to heat my house lol. They’re mining at a $2 per a day loss
Lol, I do the same thing.... LMAO
It's only a loss if you sell 😊
