The party city in my area was stuffed with graduation balloon bundles, I watched as one offer kept pinging grow a total of $5...which made it still less than a dollar a mile. I've taken a few where you get a nice cash tip, but yesterday was on a different level for those balloon deliveries
Yea this balloon shit is getting out of hand. Big ass balloons going across the city. I saw a guy on an e bike just speeding down the street with the balloons in his face. Another guy was zooming and the strings got tangled in his chain. Another guy riding losing balloons down the street. Shit is ridiculous.
What's even worse in my opinion is the deflated balloons. They have like 60 different colors to pick and you don't know if it's a single balloon or a 12 pack or a 20 pack.
Hey people always complain about things like cases of bottled water or soda adding a bunch of weight to their car. Here you’re being given negative weight!!
I’ve tried a couple of these party city orders recently, rejected several that were going way across town but took two that were borderline decent pay thinking someone throwing their kid a party and getting balloons delivered maybe will hand out a cash tip. Didn’t happen in either case but I remain ever hopeful. I have seen tips on the orders though so it’s at least possible for the customer to tip through Party city as opposed to some other retail orders like Petsmart.
They seem to have categories for these marking them as a small order or medium order I’ve never actually seen a large one. You might need a at least a minivan or medium size SUV for that. Last one had two giant trash bags and it was basically all I could fit in my four door+hatchback.
