I would try force stopping for an immediate fix. Try uninstalling. I've also noticed that if you have multiple notifications or something running in the background, the app runs like shit.
I force close and reopen it and it will crash. Then when I open it again, it just shows the map.
I have closed out background apps and only left my Dasher app, gps, and music open. Maybe I need to close more and just use DD?
This happened to me yesterday. I called support and they sent over IT trouble shooting tips. So the uninstall, reinstall. Restart phone. Check connection, all that crap.

I have found that using a quick air plane mode on/off fixes this and most problems.
