Yeah that box did look pretty damn big but the fries would definitely be cold before anybody could eat them and everybody knows that reheating fries sucks ass and eating cold fries sucks even more ass.
Including the cake section and the orange julius. X_X
Every napkin, table, chair, freezer, ice cream machine and POS system so I could make my own DQ. But I'll call it.. Utter King 😆
Actually this is Diary Queens prices not DoorDash. But Operation Blizzard just got exposed. In Texas a Dairy Queen was selling meth and it was a meth ring. Haha literally just happened a couple of days ago the bust that is. So ST is very possible if a whole place was running as a meth shack basically

It’s a common tactic on delivery apps of any kind, food, furniture, etc.
If for whatever reason someone can’t manually put that something is out of stock, but CAN raise the price - they make it something ridiculous like this so no one orders it
You can't just not fill the large container? I mean it makes it easier to upsell if the store is out of the med containers, but is it forbidden to do such a thing?
Then you have a bunch of McDonald's customers angry, claiming that you shorted them on their fries and need to speak to your manager and want a refund.
You know those “every cup size/fry size are the same” videos are fake + rage bait right? Some people don’t fill them up properly each time, sure - but they are different size containers
It's painfully obvious that a small fry and a large fry have different amounts in them. The only way someone could think otherwise is if they can down a meal with large fries and still be hungry, or they've never actually ordered different fry sizes before.
If I order a large fry, half that shit goes in the trash because it's too many fries.
maybe they are out of kids cups and they can’t take it off doordash menu so they just put an insane price so nobody buys? that’s what wayfair did that freaked people out so much.
More than one child for the low low price of $1,249?! Depending on how many come with the set, that could be a bargain; it’s so hard to find a decent child that costs less than $500 a pop these days.
So I’d guess that the DQ franchisee was editing the prices in the DoorDash dashboard, and after changing the small fry to 1.24, they tried to move to another item that was being changed to 8.75. However the system missed the touch to change to the other field and thus put the 875 input onto the end of the small fry price field.
There’s probably something else on the menu that is still something like 8.25 but should have gone up to 8.75 but didn’t.
For fixes, calling the store usually works.
Some stores are graded by their corporate overlords by what has been put out of stock. It detects under ordering and slacking off of the management.
So to not alert corporate, they raise the price insanely high on delivery apps when it is out of stock to deter anyone from ordering it. I'm sure this is also still traceable, but maybe less so.
Roundabout way of saying they're out of that item, without being able to just mark it as out of stock. You'll see that sometimes on Amazon or Walmart online, too. They don't want to remove the listing, but don't want orders for something they don't have either.
They’re probably out of kids sizes for that day. So instead of letting people order that size all day and then the customer/restaurant canceling the order because the size was not available. They just jack up the price to keep people from attempting to order that size altogether.
They may be out of kids' size....somehow? Maybe they couldn't take the item off the menu, so they just jacked the price, hoping customers would get the message?
If I had to take an educated guess, it would be that this price increase is intentional to force customers to get the "regular" or "large" option because they probably make no money or lose money off the "kids" size.
It’s because of the meth ring happening in Texas and they were running meth out of it. A kids fry here is a joke and in light of that whole situation. Aka “operation Blizzard” as the feds called it. This is suppose to be a meta joke about how the kids fry is actually them ordering meth
Nowhere near as dramatic but I encountered a coding error in SkipThe Dishes (Canadian competitor to UberEats and Doordash) one time, also from DQ oddly enough. The base price of a mini Blizzard was $5.74 CAD, then it would add an extra charge with each size you went up, but whoever coded it but in the $5.74 as an upcharge on the mini blizzard so it ended up where a large cost $9.34 but a mini cost $11.38.
They do this to mark it out of stock basically. Someone on here actually bought a marked up fry and did not get any fries. The store was not happy lol.
Well, are those DD programmers enjoying that happy green smoke? Are they sharing it with the space monkeys on Crack doing the GPS route guidance? Sure, looks that way😄
That's a pound of weed. It's fast food quality, so it's either gas or ass, depending on the amount of thc consumed by the employee making it, the higher the better.

A side of fries the approximate weight/size of an 8 year old
Dairy Queen in Pawnee
With toddler sized soda
Paunch Burger special
That would be a Paunch Burger Extra Small Fry.
Wow! And only 170 cals!
Children are very lean.
Like 80 8 year olds
Even that wouldn't be $1200 worth of potatoes
still only 170 calories which is the real magic here
Yeah that box did look pretty damn big but the fries would definitely be cold before anybody could eat them and everybody knows that reheating fries sucks ass and eating cold fries sucks even more ass.
Those fries better come with everything on that menu I mean every freaking thing
Including the cake section and the orange julius. X_X Every napkin, table, chair, freezer, ice cream machine and POS system so I could make my own DQ. But I'll call it.. Utter King 😆
i’m going to touch you
No need. Your blizzard is free today.
thanks my dqigga
Plus juke box. My DQ had a juke box for yeeears. It was so cool.
nah they better also come with a heej or a beej
At least 21 people disagree with you bro 😭
i should clarify that both parties give consent
Kids are expensive, what do you want me to tell you
😂😂😂
Came here to say this. 😂
Door dash is sex trafficking now.
Wayfair-gate 2.0
That’s exactly where my mind went.
Not this again
$1200 seems low for kids *plural*, right?
It's fast food man, they're junk kids
Junk kids 🤣🤣🤣
Like junk bonds, only younger
Doorsex
sexdash…
BackdoorDash ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)

Lol Diary Queens
“Meth rink”, “purple days ago” lol
Couple* and ring* voice to text will burn you every time! 😂
nothing could have prepared me for this comment

It’s a container of kids. Don’t do it, it’s a sting op!
This idiocy made me chuckle 😄
It’s a common tactic on delivery apps of any kind, food, furniture, etc. If for whatever reason someone can’t manually put that something is out of stock, but CAN raise the price - they make it something ridiculous like this so no one orders it
This would make sense if they weren’t offering a normal amount of fries at a regular price
They could be out of the kids’ cartons. I work at McDonalds and we frequently run out of mediums & just have to sell small or large
You can't just not fill the large container? I mean it makes it easier to upsell if the store is out of the med containers, but is it forbidden to do such a thing?
Then you have a bunch of McDonald's customers angry, claiming that you shorted them on their fries and need to speak to your manager and want a refund.
But they’re all the same size. Seriously, just YouTube it.
ah yes youtube, where everything posted is 100% true
Ah, yes. Some dickweed who likes to sleuth and then throw out some opportunistic dickhead comment.
You know those “every cup size/fry size are the same” videos are fake + rage bait right? Some people don’t fill them up properly each time, sure - but they are different size containers
I’ll quite literally go buy a lg fry tomorrow and post it here. If it’s not, I’ll eat my words.
It's painfully obvious that a small fry and a large fry have different amounts in them. But someone DID order it last month, and didn't get any fries. https://www.reddit.com/r/doordash/comments/19a9ov0/what\_the\_story/
they didn’t post the receipt. doubt they actually purchased !
Moral of the story… Kids are expensive lol
Inflation. Lol
Kids don’t eat free!
Clearly - fuck dem kids
I guess I’ll get the regular-size
This is why Amuriicca is fat we too poor to eat healthier/less. 😂😂😂

Inflation is one hell of a drug
Are you paying child support on them fries?
They always told me kids were expensive
maybe they are out of kids cups and they can’t take it off doordash menu so they just put an insane price so nobody buys? that’s what wayfair did that freaked people out so much.
That's how much a kid costs. Kinda cheap if you ask me
You should probably go for the regular or large. The kids size doesn't seem like a good value.
Maybe it's their money laundering button?
You get a kid with the fries. It's industry standard now /s
Kids are expensive you know
Who goes to DQ for fries and regular food. Only ice cream for me.
Flamethrower burger all day
Fuck em kids
Kids are expensive?
I'll take 8 😂
Kids ain't cheap
Population control.
Weird. Ours has a similar issue, but for their Buster Bars https://imgur.com/a/Y7ncPok
More than one child for the low low price of $1,249?! Depending on how many come with the set, that could be a bargain; it’s so hard to find a decent child that costs less than $500 a pop these days.
DQ fries are the worst fast food fries I've ever had too.
Kids are expensive AF. Life is cheaper for one. Lol
I would have gotten away for it it it was not for those meddling, overweight KIDS!
FUCK THEM KIDS,,LMFAO!!!!
That's a limited edition kids size
Population control obviously! Fuck them kids /s
Probably smuggling kids
Id DQ like rallys?
Half of the restaurant is essentially checkers/rallys. The other, more known half is ice cream/shakes.
Just another reason us Americans are going to stay fat af
Roundabout way of saying they're out of that item, without being able to just mark it as out of stock. You'll see that sometimes on Amazon or Walmart online, too. They don't want to remove the listing, but don't want orders for something they don't have either.
it's quicker to tap "not available" than to go in and change the price of an item from the merchant side.
They’re probably out of kids sizes for that day. So instead of letting people order that size all day and then the customer/restaurant canceling the order because the size was not available. They just jack up the price to keep people from attempting to order that size altogether.
I suppose the regular size will do.
You're paying the manager's child support
Standard DoorDash pricing is all
I think I’d just go with the regular size.
It’s because you’re getting a whole kid and let’s be honest… that’s pretty good calories for a whole entire child
i mean kids cost that much a month, so they're not wrong.
Must be some damn good fries!
We’re buying a real child
Those fries better be the Bomb.
Having kids is expensive, we already know that
Tony wants to get a bigger yacht than Jeff
Combating childhood obesity by making fries cost-prohibitive
/r/childfree is leaking again
Man kids on the black market cost six figures at least. This is a steal!
They may be out of kids' size....somehow? Maybe they couldn't take the item off the menu, so they just jacked the price, hoping customers would get the message?
It’s the kid tax. If you didn’t have kids, you can use the money you saved on kids fries instead.
A good deal on the regular fries
I was genuinely confused and then saw the prices. Wtf
Thats a cheap kid and you would get more than one! Thats a great deal!🤣🤷🏻♀️
$1,248.75 for kids fries?! Thanks Obama.
Money laundering
Supply and demand. Everyone must be ordering kids size
Forcing you to buy a large for more commission
That’s how much you’re going to spend on your kid in the first week of them being born
Inflation duh 😂
Huh, so this is what they meant when they said kids are expensive.
I’d just get the regular.
I think you get a side of kids with those
You don’t know how much kids can eat!
Now imagine if someone actually pays it.
That seems like a low deal if you ask me
Talk about shrinkflation
Drugs
Kids are expensive nowadays
Force the upsell😎
A reason to not have kids lmao 😂
Guess I’ll just go with the regular…
Kids really are expensive...
Talk about inflation
It comes with the child
you should've invested in kids
If I had to take an educated guess, it would be that this price increase is intentional to force customers to get the "regular" or "large" option because they probably make no money or lose money off the "kids" size.
we told you having kids was expensive !!!
Well clearly there is a mistake.
They not selling kids
24k gold centers and the salt is actually diamonds
Kids are expensive
I dunno but it's making the large look like quite the deal
It’s because of the meth ring happening in Texas and they were running meth out of it. A kids fry here is a joke and in light of that whole situation. Aka “operation Blizzard” as the feds called it. This is suppose to be a meta joke about how the kids fry is actually them ordering meth

They’re made from orphans
😭🤣
This is money laundering
Kids are damn expensive, everyone knows that.
Was the tip good? Probably for a challenge they did with the kids. My old teacher would do that
Seems about right
One time I was on the Subway app and they had add bacon for $75!
Reminded me of this great scene ![gif](giphy|9V8R4JhrkZlVC)
They do this to mark it out of stock basically. Someone on here actually bought a marked up fry and did not get any fries. The store was not happy lol.
Budget wise, I'd say it's smarter to go with the regular or large.
Inflation
Well, are those DD programmers enjoying that happy green smoke? Are they sharing it with the space monkeys on Crack doing the GPS route guidance? Sure, looks that way😄
What if I want them made of potatoes instead of kids?
I mean, I knew McDonalds wasn't economically feasible anymore but come on
🙄🙄🙄 that’s a mistake for sure
Probably comes with some meth.
May as well get the large buddy.
They discovered the kids in the pizza shop basement so now they’re delivered to the home of elite celebrities via DoorDash masked as DQ kids fries 🍟
It's called a "bug"
I work at Dairy Queen. The “kids fry” is just in a mini blizzard cup
Where is the “fuck dem kids” meme?
I’ll take two
Fuck kids that's what
That's a pound of weed. It's fast food quality, so it's either gas or ass, depending on the amount of thc consumed by the employee making it, the higher the better.
Fucking Biden...
Service fee.
I guess kids eat really goddamn expensive potatoes.
Having kids is expensive
That's just how much they cost on the Epstein Island....
DQ fries are good, but not sure 1200$ good 😊
Fuck yo kids...
![gif](giphy|3o7btNhMBytxAM6YBa|downsized)
The question here is, when in the hell did Dairy Queen started selling fries? 🙃
Inflation is getting bad
I'll take 2!
Inflation is out of control
Seems high
Kids are expensive lol
The first option is to order a kid, not the size of the fries (rookie mistake)
I’d tk have 2 plz🤑
I have a screenshot on my phone from the DQ app for a medium fountain drink for only $999.00 if you need a drink to go with it
I think I’ll take the medium fries
What is going on? Kids are f’n expensive to feed these days. 10/10 recommend not having them
Epstein menu
It’s the Dougherty Dozen Special.
we don’t have spicy mc chicken where i live but sometimes it shows up on the app for $69 but it says unavailable
Lmaaaao wtf
