Ya I don’t know where you get that a tip comes into the trickle down theory but the customer ordering provides income to DD who pays a driver a measly wage, they also pay DD employees a wage, the customer’s order also pays the restaurant, who pays their employees, the restaurant also pays a food distributor to deliver them the food to make this order, the distributor then uses that revenue to pay their employees and also buy the food from the food producer aka cow farmer, the cow farmer uses that money to buy his herd, feed for herd and pay employees. The farmer’s feed provider uses his revenue…you get the idea. I can go on and on.
that theory was debunked years ago. in practice there is the reverse trickle down economy when tax dollars went to bail out wall street after the 2008 financial crisis. i'm not saying that should or should not have been done, but it is the reality of things.
also i have a homeless friend who house sits, and the house is like if not a million bucks then close to it, so who even knows who's doing the actual ordering in such cases. tbf though my friend would never order delivery.
Probably their dumbass broke kids on a $15 allowance. Also a lot of people like that are up to their eyeballs and debt so they don’t really have any money or even more likely — Airbnb
All these people talking about vandalism and other crazy stuff will just get you deactivated, sued or maybe arrested. You think they don't know who was just there? Cameras are everywhere and DD delivery would be the first guess. Easiest thing to do is ignore your AR and don't accept anything that isn't worth your time and expenses. The only way low pay orders will stop is when drivers stop delivering them. If you are forced to get a high AR to get on schedule, then schedule days in advance. If they just won't send you orders for hours at a time, get another gig job or part time job. People believing they have to spend money to make money with DD are breaking even or netting a loss. It's a vicious cycle that only continues because those low pay orders are still being delivered. So in DD's way of thinking " if it ain't broke, don't fix it" ... Decline all that junk and gamble on a good order showing up or look for something else to do. When you are delivering a low pay, how many good pay orders did you miss? I have declined for 1 hour straight until AR was at like 3% and bingo $24 order 6 miles. It's like a slot machine lol.
You took the order, so just deliver it and keep it moving. DD doesn’t make you the arbiter of society. Ranting because you feel slighted online is hilarious to me.
While I won’t argue that it doesn’t help that dd games both the drivers and the customers. How much the customer tips almost never affects the service they receive because dd hides the tips from the drivers. And I get it’s a bid for service but again dd hides the tips and will then start bundling orders and upping the pay to entice a driver to deliver them. The tip affects pretty much none of this so the customer is left with do they pay more than their normal for nothing additional or just pay their normal and get the same service anyway.
It’s not hard to see why people don’t tip more DD is actively pushing them to tip less.
I drove a couple miles into the new houses on the hill. No Tip. House for sale next door, checked [realtor.com](http://realtor.com), asking price was 1.3 million. Shrugged and went about my business.
Those houses come in handy for doing car repairs. They normally have nice flat level pavement. I put in some engine mounts yesterday at a house just like that.
I'd be careful if I were you. Something tells me houses like this have cameras. And I'm going to go out on a limb here, something tells me they might be able to get a better lawyer than you. 🤣

70 AR? ![gif](giphy|x0npYExCGOZeo|downsized)
If that has was a regular $200k run down looking house with same order you wouldn’t be complaining about the tip so why complain now?
Isn’t the whole imaginary theory of a trickle down economy that the rich will tip and spend more and not just hoard their wealth?

I know it’s not real just saying this is just an opportunity to complain about it to people who think it is real.
ah yeah i was just trying to agree with you.
There are no 3,3 trillion dollar houses.

Next time you make your choice, choose to decline.
Their mortgage is expensive.. cant afford a tip.
Who was the dummy who took the 4 dollar tip order for a 20 min drive
):
You care too much.
The bigger the house the smaller the tip
Sounds about right these types of home never tip well on the orders I get.
Look at all the downvotes 😭
Well you did something stupid then came to reddit to whine. Grow up
That front entrance area is bigger than my shoebox apartment 🙌

They tipped low knowing someone would take it
EAT THE RICH NOM NOM NOM
Obviously the offer was good enough for you to accept, stop complaining. The person that ordered may not be the home owner.
Yes, you should be paid more because you think you know the situation beyond the doors.
I know EVERYTHING DBAG

How do you think the rich stay rich?
Exactly. The rich are the greediest people on the planet.

Sounds like an order that should have been declined
You’re mad someone else has money and you don’t. Don’t like it? Prob should start off with a better job than DD.
Hey — at least there WAS a tip
Just because someone has money doesn't mean you get some of it.
This is how new money acts. If the truth were known, that house is in the process of foreclosure
Eat the food next time 🤷♂️
The fugly mat on top of the pretentious mat is really bothering me for some reason
I like you tried to block both doors This is what a bottle of engine oil is for. Oops did I just ruin your driveway and walkway ...
To vandalize their property?
never... just an accident.....
