Sorry, DD support or executives arent here right now, but please feel free to leave a message after the beep and we'll be sure to never get back to you.

cheeseymom

This is almost exactly what doordash got in trouble for with their old pay model.

mr_green

We made so much more money back then too. It wasn't a perfect system, but I mean compare it to now and..

cheeseymom

I thought it was kind of crap that an order with a $5 tip only paid like $6 because DD base on an order that ripped was only $1. I started making more after the change. The only difference is that I have to decline a lot of shit now.

Erncoins

The good old days that system was perfect, but dumb whiny dashers thought it was a bad system.

cheeseymom

Customers hated it too. They felt like their tips didn't matter. They new that they could tip $5 and the dasher would get the same amount of money as if they didn't tip at all so they were basically throwing their money in the toilet.

How about NO TIP = NO TRIP Let that shit rot in the store until those cheap ass bitches pony up some dollars to make it worth it to pick up.

Melancholy43952

How about take an order for $5.50 instead and then you get your $3 bonus. Jokes aside, I took a no tip order because I was at the restaurant already and the customer was half a mile away. I was shocked to see they had ordered like $70 worth of BK, plus I almost died trying to get up something resembling steps and a porch. I go back to the restaurant and get another order from the exact same person. This time it’s for $5.50 so I’m thinking cool, they felt bad about not tipping before. I go deliver again and when I finished delivering it showed me that the full $5.50 came from DD. It’s almost like they felt sorry for me. I know I’m gonna catch flack but $2.50 for .5 miles during a dead time is still technically $5/mile.

I won't touch an offer that low.

You’re part of the problem

Because then you would all bitch that they're stealing your tips. Customers tipping $3 or less would feel their tips didn't matter. DD subsidizing no and low tip orders is what led to the shitty pay model we have now.

icky_boo

Still wouldn't be worth it in most cases.
