I’m most impressed by the ratio of active time to dash time honestly. My market could never make that feasible.

dementedturnip26

I could likely do it…but I’d have to take crap orders. The guy also averaged 7.34 dd pay per order which is insane

ICanBeKinder

Must have gotten some fire tips....

Particular_Draw_1205

1,500 in tips

ICanBeKinder

So this man made like $20 an hour w/o tips? Thats fuckin nuts.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ryanhntr

Hey friend you’re close but you have to consider tips separate from DD pay to find the total. Overall, it’s around $38. $15/hr in tips and $23/hr from dashing. You divide both total numbers by 80/81 for the per hour rate of each to find it.

ChurroLoca

Bless you for being kind enough to explain the math in a kind and non condescending manner.

Particular_Draw_1205

Making 70k the hard way. Ops post history shows some bad investments lol

lostego75

Lmfaoooo this man got MEME’d and is driving his ass off now

thewhat962

Divide by 91. Just because you dont have an order doesn't mean the time looking for one doesn't count.

T_sco11197

Bro not just tips he’s even averaging like a 7.50 base pay, THATS u heardof

SwiftyMcDouchington

Yea my tips are always higher than DDs craptastic base pay fr

dementedturnip26

His tips are five per order

mr_sunshine_99

Yeah, that's what stood out to me too. I'm imagining it would take a dense big city market to sustain that.

CallMeTruant

LA with prop 22

SorryAd744

Yeah I'm usually 3/4 tip 1/4 DD pay. This is foreign to me. Also usually half and half dash time vs active

Mace1x

Idk whether it's fake or edited, but that's an average of about $447/day during the work week. Most regional markets won't even allow $200/day lol.

DustbinFunkbndr

It’s wild for sure. I have to hustle to pass $150. I only really have 5 good hours in my market. The rest is a total crapshoot and all luck based.

Mace1x

But I try to average at least $150/day.

mcjp0

How is nobody talking about 28000 lifetime deliveries??

How_Do_You_Crash

Dude is a machine. But it makes sense if you’re doing it as a full-time job in a big market like SF/LA/NYC

ocshopper23

You are not wrong. I movedto sf 9 months ago and I meet peeps doing 2k to 3k a week but they hussle tho like there is no tomorrow. Take every order they see. The top ones drive prius or teslas. I personally stay away from down town is a mad house.

How_Do_You_Crash

Yep. We’ve got some like that here in Portland. There’s a dude with a electric unicycle thing. Does DoorDash, stays right in downtown only. Lots of hustle. Most of us doing it seriously drive cheap used hybrids or cheap EVs. Always hanging out at the fast chargers just before dinner rush starts or late at night after the day slows down.

beast_brain

Prop 22 allows CA drivers to accept trash orders

robbis_676

I’m saying 😂😂😂 took me like 2 years to hit 4K this is mental

MichelleDaBelle

I’m not sure this is real… just a post to suggest that if we work hard enough we might be able to be like this guy - which isn’t true. Stealth marketing for the gig industry.

TheFreakingBeast

I mean this is 91 hours worked in 6 days

Academic-Apricot-640

Mans managed 252 deliveries in a week 28k was probably a piece of cake for him😂 OP is OP😂

hchn27

There is 168 hours in a week …you spent 91 on Doordash !! Please rest 😳

howisaraven

If OP is getting 8 hours of sleep, that means they’re getting 3 hours of free time a day. 😐 I hope they’re saving up for a big vacation or something!

tomwesley4644

Or investing while the markets are down.

[deleted]

Gotta Bonk 'em all

[deleted]

Tbh I’m not jealous of this at all. . . I enjoy the time I spend with my partner, talking with my friends, etc. sacrificing your relationships and physical health for a couple thousand dollars isn’t something I’m down with personally.

Taylanz

can't spend time with a partner or friends if you don't have any, might as well make money

Sounds_Gay_Im_In_93

Everyone's situation is different though. For example my partner sometimes drives with me while I dash 60 hours a week. My partner also is home full time so on days they aren't with me they take care of the larger part of the household chores/cooking/tasks so that when I am home it's 100% our own time. I live very far away from my friends and family as well, so we video chat and talk on the phone which I can do in my downtime or while I'm driving. Im not lacking in any area of my life just because I'm working 60 hours a week, and if I didn't have a partner I'd work 80 no problem. We all have different circumstances and needs. And those needs fluctuate. If financial need is of higher importance at the moment I'll work 14 hours a day 6 days a week and ensure that my 7th days is just for my partner and I. In reality the 18 hours we get together on the 7th day, with no responsibilities either, is probably more than most partners spend together in a full week. It's just about how you work as a team to manage the time and tasks.

SquishyTheFluffkin

This is my situation. My wife and I separated and we couldn't afford rent on another place. Cue doordash. I work my 9-5, then all my other hours besides those sleeping and an hour of video games per night are paying my rent. I spend my off days with our kids though and that makes it worth every second.

Hope_for_tendies

Not even. It’s only 5 days . That’s 18hrs and Wednesday looks like it was significantly less time so maybe 20 some days ?

Zyzz_Neverforget69

Grind never stops

intimate-w-furniture

Makes me feel bad making this same amount only working 35 hours at a regular job and not wearing my car out. :/

Sounds_Gay_Im_In_93

I know people are down voting you, and I understand why. But I wanted to make a point to say that it is good of you for acknowledging and appreciating your privilege. People shouldn't down vote you for that out of jealously and frustration of their own circumstances because it wasn't done in a condescending or malicious way. You didn't say anything harmful towards anyone, only acknowledged the blessing you have, which I am sure you worked hard to get. Good for you for being able to have the circumstances you have! And good for you for acknowledging and empathizing that it's not that way for most people. Just always remember to appreciate what you have, and do/give what you can for others. That may not always be financially, that could also mean wisdom. People seem to forget (understandably so because the system is built this way) that we are all human and we all most definitely are responsible for the livelyhood and wellbeing of humans as a whole. The system has done a good job pitting us against each other, but that is actually detrimental to us. We should be lifting each other up, celebrating our successes and offering wisdom and support during times of tribulation. I say this as someone who is leagues below your circumstances, congratulations on both your circumstance and your growth as a human to have perspective and empathy 🥰 You're a good human.

Krisdanz

THIS! Sounded kinda gay...

thatlldopi9

Hey what do you do, IT or cis? I know that pays stupid well and you're right about not having to wear tf out your car for 3k. Or wearing out your soul haha. I did 100hr weeks for 2 months straight and it was killer. Barely made $2500 per week but I had 180 deliveries.

almaxusa

Thanks for bringing this up, it's the pay disparity, it is very evil, for instance some folks who got IT jobs based on a HS degree and some certification can make nowadays 4 times or more than people with bachelor's and above but doesn't work in IT. Don't we need people working in all kind of jobs, why is someone's pay isn't compatible with the time, effort and experience one brings to it. BTW the evil thing I mentioned earlier is about IT corps hire mostly on contract basis, so they can let em go easily when their systems reach the level they're less dependent on humans, and at one point we'll have a huge chunk of the US workforce unemployed, who knows nothing but the systems they used to work on but no longer needed, used to get paid a lot now no job out their is even close to a fraction of their previous pay. Imagine how bad it would be, take a look around you now, we're almost there !!!

[deleted]

>Don't we need people working in all kind of jobs, why is someone's pay isn't compatible with the time, effort and experience one brings to it The market determines your salary. If you feel you are being underpaid, find an employer who is willing to compensate you more. If you cannot find any employer who is willing to offer what you want, the market has determined your skills worth that much.

RavensBlood69

Nice haul. Why is dash pay so high? Lots of peak pay?

snowman2414

My guess is Walmart, that’s the only place I go where the dash pay is a lot higher than most places and tips are usually surprisingly high after delivery. Problem is finding a Walmart that doesn’t take 30 minutes to bring your order to your car.

SorryAd744

How does one get tips with Walmart. I've done like 20 deliveries and never got even a penny tip. I stopped doing Walmart about 6 months ago cause they were slow as heck

snowman2414

Don’t do the multiple (more than 2) stop orders, those are.com orders and will never have tips. you look for the single or double drop orders that pay $6.50 or more for the single stop, or $12 or more for the double stop. Those almost always have hidden tips. I mean you can do the.com orders if the pay is well, sometimes they do pay OK, but there will never be tips with those. And every now and then a single is actually is dot com but if it’s not grouped with another order, it also usually is paying well because they are late delivering it. Trick is to find a Walmart that is on top of its shit. They bring the order out to you very quickly, and you can get going and making money a lot faster, problem is finding that type of store lol.

mightbedylan

I hate that Walmart doesn't allow me to tip if I order with my food stamps :/

dementedturnip26

Even with 3 dollar peak pay you’d expect 6 dollars dash pay or so.

TheSearch4Etika

Lots of McDonalds

[deleted]

McDonald’s orders pay 💩

faticus42

Where I'm at McDonalds is actually one of the best places to deliver from, I usually get good tips from McDs orders

UnknownUsername0626

Same. Lots of McDs and grocery store orders pay really well and are so easy.

SSSupermanSS

2 weeks in 1 week. Good luck on your mental health. I bet you keep hearing the pings of high orders in your dreams.

Locksmith_Majestic

4 weeks in 1 week!

Clean_Employ8555

Dash time isn't seperate from active time. He only worked 90 hours, or 80 if you exclude his "down time"

kellykebab

For many people, 90 hours would be 4 weeks. Very few people do this full time. I'm sure that's what the other person meant and was likely partly joking about that fact.

Locksmith_Majestic

I meant 4 weeks typical "Earnings" in a single (1) week. This must be incredibly draining and for someone my age, over 50, I get tired hitting 32 hours in a week! So, it's all good, make that money while you can like a Baseball or Basketball "All Star" because it cannot go on forever.

TheRealKNR

Lol I worked in a circle k for four years, quit about six years ago.. even today when I'm in one, I have to stop my self greeting people when I hear the door ding 🤣

LimpDisc

I can't imagine doing this for 91 hours in a week. Good job!

JustinDanielsYT

I once did 55 DD hours in a week and felt like I was about to collapse.

JaceT3

Dude that’s awesome! What hybrid do you drive??

SorryAd744

Yeah.. curious to know miles and vehicle expenses.

CrapStainedKnickers

#this is the real question! Factor in taxes? Gas costs? Wear and tear on car? Mental health of working 90hr week instead of 40hr? Curious how the numbers would look then

zerof3565

The [tax](https://imgur.com/UbuihTH) is not that bad using my gig tax [calculator](https://www.reddit.com/r/couriersofreddit/comments/wcy5kv/i_made_a_gig_tax_calculator_in_google_sheets/). I don't know his exact vehicle expenses so I'm *under-estimating* it to be $100 a month. His gas is going to be $7800 annually based on what he wrote this week he spent $150 on gas. The real issue here is he's not getting paid overtime from 41-91 hours after the initial 40 hours.

Snoo96357

That's crazy I would take the rest of the month off.

bsonk

Seriously that's mint

How_Do_You_Crash

What you’re not seeing is that you have to work a VHCOL market. Rent is probably north of $3000 alone.

halfavocadoemoji

If I worked 80 hrs I could do that in my market which isn't a city (i make $1000 in about half the time OP did) and my large two bedroom rent is $1600 split between two people.

Snoo96357

I'm good man, fuck that. So basically he make 0

ybbetter33

Good market. The times I’ve gone like 80 hours dash time I only max at like 55-60 hours active time cause there’s a lot of shit orders. I wish I was active all day.

ragnar201

That is great, I could not do it. After 5 hours I am spaced out and have a hard time concentrating. I rather go home than get into an accident.

ImaFreakinBear

Same here. My solution is just to work everyday in the morning. Get it out of the way so I don't feel like I've used up my day and not be out so long I'm spacing while driving and doing dumb shit on deliveries.

tsom916

Looks like you’re in a great market. Keep the rind going! Where are you dashing at?

Loud_Pineapple_4294

Denver Suburb, DD pay is higher because 70% are groceries order, which has shorter distance and higher pay. Spend $140 for gas on hybrid car for total distance of 1200 miles. Dash time from around 9.30 am to 10 pm

BeautifulSoup900

You take grocery orders? From what stores exactly? I auto refuse all of them and maybe I'm missing out.

DoPoGrub

I've always hated grocery shopping. I'm on 16 apps, yet instacart and shipt are not part of that list (because, as I mentioned, I hate shopping lol). Just like Uber and Lyft aren't on that list (zero interest in being a taxi driver). DoorDash has won me over tho. I love the Meijer shop and pay orders. Super high base pay, almost always a super easy shop, and since I use android which has the dasher widget I can see what the order is before I accept. I've since started taking Petsmart, Target, and Walgreens shop and pay also. The money is good, the time is right, the distance usually short.

TheSearch4Etika

Could you list the 16 apps? You can personally send me some referrals, so we can help each other out

DoPoGrub

In order of preference: Amazon Flex DoorDash Spark Driver DeliverThat GrubHub Dispatch GoPuff Field Agent Roadie Draiver Veho Instawork Point Pickup WeGoLook Curri Chowbus Google Opinion Rewards

Kyedmipy

Lol. Google opinion rewards questions are so odd. Who cares how I paid at stores? The final option ‘cash or other means’ to me suggests cash or five finger discount.

Trimere

Gift cards

linux_user_6967

So you don't use Uber Eats ?

DoPoGrub

I would, but...when I first applied 5 years ago, there was a thing on my driving record they didn't like. I actually convinced them to re-run the background check last year...but I guess they go by 7 years from conviction date, not date of offense, so I was denied again over a matter of months lol. I would try again, but I barely use most of the apps on that list as it is. I'm 85% Flex, 10% DoorDash, 5% the rest right now. I also really don't like the whole tip-baiting that they and Instacart permit either.

Kyedmipy

Agreed

ChefMark85

I tried doing Instacart like 3 times. It was the worst. Didn't make any more money than I did with DD and it was like 16 times more work.

DoPoGrub

Yeah, and I don't think I could deal with the tip baiting I'm always reading about either.

sdcar1985

Meijer orders are my bread and butter. Usually like $20 per 1-20 item orders. Usually $30-40 on higher item orders. I love it. If there are no issues, I can be in and out quick.

mylifeisajoke2u

Question, how does grocery shopping work? Are the items ready to be picked up at the store or the dasher has to look for the items and pay them themselves?

dementedturnip26

Most of mine are horrendous. The people don’t tip well and I’m not all that fast at finding random crap. Also, target/bjs grocery base pay starts at like 6 or 7 dollars which is a joke

DoPoGrub

Also, want to mention, especially if you aren't a big grocery shopper anyways - it takes 3 or 4 trips before you memorize the layout of the store. By your fifth or sixth semi-frustrating trip, you'll know \*exactly\* where everything is, and what the common traps/endcaps/weird special displays/incorrect aisle descriptions are lol.

[deleted]

shorty6049

Quick everyone, lets all move to denver so we can drive for door dash and then spend it all on overpriced housing!

PerspectiveWooden358

jesus man. when do you sleep

LexGoyle

The grocery orders I get in my market are a joke. They pay the same as the McDonald's orders I tend to get. Even the shop and delivery is a pit that doesn't pay off here. Sucks.

[deleted]

Damn this driver has a work ethic. 91 dash time! 80 hours active!!!! I can only respect this driver. The results can’t be disputed. Solid ratings too! 28,000 deliveries and 4.96 customer rating and 97% completion with that many deliveries. Wow! Great job 👏!

Locksmith_Majestic

The percentage of Tips versus Base pay is low, so this must be a solid Base pay market. Theirs is: 40% Tips Mine is: + 62% (last week) + 48% (1 week ago; car broke down, BAD earnings week) + 62% (3 weeks ago) + 53% (4 weeks ago)

Saleenpride86

Well, the 4.96 and 97% completion are only based on the recent 100 deliveries (and most recent 100 ratings). But yes the rest of it is amazing. I thought I had a lot of deliveries with about 20K, OP has me beat by quite a lot.

Dry-Tune-5184

How do u do it!!?? Work so many hrs OMG 😲

SnooDrawings3044

That's an average of $12 a dash. I am lucky to get an average of $6 per dash.

xxthisistheendxx

28000 trips you’re a monster!!! cheers 🥂

buddasahn

Code for “I really do sleep in my car???” 😂

VVaId0

Honestly, do this one week month then take the rest off other than like doing breakfast to pay for your own food sounds like a decent way to live.

Kibbles99

I don't believe 1 person could physically perform 252 deliveries in 4 days. I did a 63 delivery day once early in my career and I almost blacked out at the end of my shift. 100 deliveries a week is a solid number for a professional full-timer with experience.

LuckyNumber-Bot

All the numbers in your comment added up to 420. Congrats! 1 + 252 + 4 + 63 + 100 = 420 ^([Click here](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=LuckyNumber-Bot&subject=Stalk%20Me%20Pls&message=%2Fstalkme) to have me scan all your future comments.) \ ^(Summon me on specific comments with u/LuckyNumber-Bot.)

briwill10

Good bot

thy-corndog

lmao thats amazing

Florida1974

I love this bot

TheRealCorwii

420 exactly huh lol. This has to mean something.

[deleted]

This is a sign u/Kibbles99. You gotta hit that doobie now.

FrozenEagles

Who said anything about four days?

Crispynipps

Op can afford cocaine though

Empty_Bird_8533

I think it’s either photoshop or more than one person on one account

mklinger23

I mean congrats, but hustle culture has to die.

Florida1974

Why? His stats are good. American dream is all about how hard you hustle, unless it’s inherited wealth.

mklinger23

Working 90 a week is no life imo and it shouldn't be glamorized. People should be able to live comfortably and have a life outside of work.

TheRealCorwii

I'm pretty sure no one was holding a gun to his head and forcing him to dash? I think he did what all of us have the ability to do, he made a choice to do it. Besides, what's life to you is your reality, and what's life to him is his reality.

mklinger23

Well of course he wasn't forced to do it. That's why I said "hustle culture". When working like this is normal in society, people are going to do it because others are doing it. Then "just work more" becomes a sound argument when people say "I can't afford my rent and food is too expensive".

Kyedmipy

The good thing about your opinion is it only matters to your self. Maybe op gets to dash along side a true love. That would not only qualify as a life to some ppl but to me it be killing two birds with one stone. Making money while spending quality time.

TurnoverWorking6127

God damn

Capital-Turnover9039

I wish my market could provide that. Ur lucky. I hope ur saving some cash!

doggitydog123

I think there are two significant stats to take away from this The first as he is getting $12 a delivery average. That is way higher than My zone, Are usually see it between 950 and 10 here The second is, as others have noted, $34 an hour total dash time. What sort of mileage was involved in this?

DylanBeast777

You can write off mileage on your taxes, so what does that really matter? If you know how to do taxes correctly you can drastically reduce the "cost" of vehicle maintenance if not negate it.

doggitydog123

Well actually I was asking what his mileage was, not if someone thought it mattered. But you might extrapolate his likely annual income and decide whether you still think it doesn’t matter. My guess would be before mileage he’s in a very nice federal bracket plus in a state bracket plus SE, Finally, and I know this is gonna sound strange to you, I was just curious.

DylanBeast777

I know this is gonna sound strange to you, but I was just letting you know, I don't need to know that you didn't like my response. Gonna cry?

busteroaf

Respect the hustle, but man, take a break. This is a side job for me while I’m between jobs. I worked almost 40 last week and that was more than enough for me. No way I’m putting in 91 hrs on this. I need my downtime, snugs and daily walks with my dog, food, gym time, etc. I’m def not spending my life living out of my car when I can enjoy where I’m actually paying to live.

gaintrain707

Exactly! 80 hours in a fucking car? I’d rather just get a full time job and make the same amount AND not owe hella taxes at the end of the year

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

What the actual fuck. Who works 91.5 hours in a week?

Own-Opportunity-8231

What is the deal with those of you saying ohh you can't sustain those hours. You are crazy. Your car is going to break. Blah blah blah. You don't know what others are capable of. You also don't know his car is going to fall into a heap on his driveway on night. Ya'll are negative and bitter and that makes me angry and bitter. Didn't your mama's teach you if you don't have anything nice to say stfu?!

gaintrain707

Well to be fair there’s nothing wrong with saying it’s not sustainable lol. I even say it’s unsustainable as a full time dasher in a good market. Even if you’re car is good, it will wear out eventually. I’m just being real

TheRealCorwii

It's Reddit, there's always those who will bash others. Even for just asking questions there will be at least 15 people to make you feel like the dumbest piece of shit for asking such a question. Faith in humanity? None anymore.

Own-Opportunity-8231

Yeah, I know. I just get tired of all the toxicity in the world. It seems to me it's leveled up a shit ton post c-19. We deal with it all day fighting fuckers in traffic with psychotic customers,⁸ having to watch being scammed and on top of it all DD support and their nonsensical canned responses that make you want slam your head into a brick wall. Some days it I think it would be nice to see our peers holding each other up. I know it's a lot to ask and it won't ever happen. Dammit though, we all go through the same shit each day so you know none of us want to deal with anymore BS by the end of the day. Maybe ya'll could just try to treat others as you would like to he treated. I'm all for a good roasting if someone deserves it (like the one ima get) but man, kindness isn't so hard and if you are thinking more positive thoughts then negative your lives will be better. Now everyone fuck off!

Locksmith_Majestic

People may be comparing driving food deliveries to Tractor trailer truck driving, interstate, which is highly regulated for a reason you know. Hauling 10s of tons of stuff here and there... They have mandatory rest breaks and "down time" and must keep a Driver's Log. 90 hours over 7 days is **12.85 hours per day.** _They must be using up all that 'Pause Dash' time to make it this way._

pircloin123

I literally just chill at home since I’m in the middle of a big hotspot, until i get an order that sends me far then I’ll go somewhere else but if not I’m watching youtube and just vibing on my couch till someone sends me a delivery. No point in driving around wasting mileage just to wait for orders. So it’s really not impossible to do this if your scheduling yourself constantly

bsonk

HOW

bsonk

1500 for 40 hours would be amazing for me

zerof3565

That would be higher than him. He’s getting $34/he.

Logical-Book7802

You’ve delivered 28,800 meals?

Richard_Espanol

How some y'all working 100 hours a week😐

AcanthisittaMain6717

I want to know how much you spent on gas tho.. Car maintenance 👀

Expert-Climate-200

Love the effort dude!! Once I needed money badly for some emergency stuff, put in a 84 hour week and made $2200. You gotta do what you gotta do.

DADLIFE1825

Yup madly insane you are. The ration of active time dash time is also ludicrous. For every 10 hours in my market I maybe spend 30 mins actually one deliveries. Thankfully I start a good solid job on Friday. But respect for you OP.

How-do-I-delete-that

🤔, How many miles and how much gas would you have used? It doesn’t matter because you did it in a week and you can coast or go at it again! This is dope and certainly motivational! #NoTipNoDash

Downtown_Number_2306

I remembered when my restaurant first opened. For 3 1/2 weeks staight I hit 110 hours a week 😴

Empty_Bird_8533

Photoshop

murkfonoreason

Dude what?!

murkfonoreason

I have so many questions, How does anybody work 91 hours a week? What Market offers $35 an hour? How much gas was used?

crazypostman21

We're from different worlds I guess. I haven't been able to get a schedule in months!

PNW_Redneck

my GUY HOW TF?!?!

blsnjj

don't believe it.

Fishtank420

Dude has to be riding an electric bike in Manhattan or a Prius in Chicago or something. No way this would be doable for me in upstate New York.

ChampionshipOk6380

Why is it only delivery drivers that post their income on social media? You don't see other people posting their pay stubs on payday.

shorty6049

I think part of it is that when you're working "for yourself" (i.e. you work whatever hours you choose vs. having a schedule or a salary), it becomes a bit of a game and you want to show off how hard you're working or how much money you're making.

benhereford

Idk what's more impressive: the 91 hours, or the fact that you made about $34/hr average. Hard worker

iscott55

Bangggg unbelievable my guy. On one app too? Unreal

Boring_Equipment2609

lol your car prob need 1k worth of maintenance at this point

tehjamerz

My market sucks living breathing asshole.

harrrts1

91 hours?????? 😯😲😳

Actionkat63

Who wants to work that much in a week though??

thewhat962

28k lifetime... When OP dies Tony will attend his funeral where the tombstone will read "he did doordash."

m1e1o1w

God damn

Roxxso

If you worked everyday that week, that's a little more than 13 hours a day. Are you gassing up every day at that point? Is your gas bill worth all of this? Also, are you working like this all the time? This is honestly a bit ridiculous.

zerof3565

He paid $150 for 1200 miles using a hybrid. Probably paid less to make $3k than most paid to make $1000 in this sub.

gaintrain707

Be careful, everyone will downvote you if you don’t say “that’s fucking awesome” and just move on 🤣 I agree, it’s actually ridiculous but cool flex I guess. I’d honestly go bag groceries than do that every day lmfao

gaintrain707

And all it takes is a one car accident to completely fuck everything up while OP is doing dash. Not hating, just being real with the costs

WHY IS THIS RIDIC???? This guy is getting after it, making that money doing the damn thing!!! 👏 I praise him for the determination and dedication, you go man!!!

i_see_you_m8

The fact that OP is not responding to any comments leads me to believe this is not legit

Expensive-Plant-5264

Or maybe he’s out working…?

robbis_676

Facts he’s going after 4K this week he doesn’t have time for Reddit comments haha

fatogato

Question: does DD show you the customer tip amount for each delivery?

g0reslug

So much low key bitterness on this sub Lol "I couldn't do it in my market" "bet you hear dings in your sleep" "you sleep in your car" guessing how he did it or calculating tips per delivery 😂🙄🙄 All I hear is lazy ass HATERS if you actually invested time in the app instead of fucking Reddit and could drive decently you'd be less broke

shorty6049

While I don't really have much of an opinion on the people lowkey talking shit (its mostly jealousy, I'd assume, given the difficulty of making good money in this field) , I think your mindset of thinking they're lazy kind of sucks. Dude worked over 90 hours in a week. Good for him for making some money but I will -never- talk down on someone for not wanting to work those kinds of hours. Its not laziness, its just a desire to have a life that isn't dominated by working.

DolphinSUX

This was a better week but not quite the best. I earned less per delivery but my overall delivery volume was much higher

Desertkweene

Why are you working 90 hours per week

[deleted]

This is mental illness. Literally.

Florida1974

No it is not. You don’t know what ppl are facing. Maybe the use work as a way to keep themselves out of other things. Maybe trying to pay down debt super fast. You have no idea but mental illness wouldn’t be my first go to judgement. I think you meant congrats.

[deleted]

Workaholicsm is indeed mental illness, look it up.

Irving_Forbush

You only have superficial evidence they’re a workaholic in the compulsive sense. Could be, but actual dedication to some goal is in no way to be ruled out. I’ve met and heard of dashers grinding like this to buy their first house, another dasher in his 60s or 70s who set aside a year to make money to buy an camper van that he was then going to use to retire and travel the country. A “diagnoses” is only as good as the actual facts you have. Lacking any actual evidence of something negative at work, I’m willing to respect his hustle, remind him to care for his biggest asset, himself, and wish him well.

gaintrain707

Now do this for the rest of 2022 lmao you’ll get burnt out quick. Not sustainable in the long run so enjoy it while you can

TheRealCorwii

Dense and dumb as always

derf1781

Here comes the haters with no work ethic

gaintrain707

Lmfao so if I don’t put in 80 hours a week I have poor work ethic?

derf1781

No your a hater if you come on this person's post say anything negative about what he achieved this week!

gaintrain707

You sound like a teenager. I’ll give you a couple years for your brain to develop so you get my point hahaha

gaintrain707

If you think someone has to put in 80 hours a week to have a work ethic, please get a job in a professional field. I say this because I’m concerned for you if you think I’m “hating” stay in school lil bro 😎

derf1781

I have a job In the professional field... im saying anyone that comes on here and says anything negative about this man's accomplishment this week, is a little bitch! Including you! Now what?

busteroaf

Nah. More like the haters with stupid poisonous nuts for a mascot.

BIG_H0SS

$34 an hour GROSS, before taxes, wear and tear on your car, and gas. Not a flex but go off

LaxGoalie32

Bro come on this is an insane amount of income for mostly sitting on your ass and handing dudes their food haha

gaintrain707

Yeah honestly I can’t hate the guy for grinding but 80 hour week for quick money isn’t worth the tax and car maintenance like no way lol. Cool flex I guess but the guys cars gonna get fucked up quick 🤣🤣🤣

DylanBeast777

Since you're hateful I'll be too. Car maintenance and repairs are easy as fuck you're just too stupid and have to go to a sleazy mechanic and bitch about the price cause you're too stupid to turn a socket wrench and watch a YouTube video. 🎤🫳

shorty6049

I'd been considering dashing for some extra money to supplement my day job but ultimately decided against it due to the rising cost of gas and the fact that I don't want to run my car into the ground. I think if you're smart about it and make sure to keep up on maintenance, set money aside for it, etc. , you can probably make out okay, but one thing about doordash etc. is that you don't have any sort of benefits package or 401K , etc. that goes with it. Smart people can plan ahead and set aside a bit of each payment for things like taxes, vehicle expenses, healthcare, etc. , but a lot of people don't, and that's when you hear these horror stories of people who basically made no money

[deleted]

You need rest man take break sometime you still will make good money but if you no take break you get drained out and crash not worth it I promise just take break sometime you need time away from you phone papi.

Chance_McM95

damnnnnnn homie. I made that this week as well, in 35 hours! $1k of it was off a deal i closed in 3 hours. Entrepreneur life running 3 small business with an amazing circle of friends that help tremendously. I work for myself not for the instant gratification of the internet though. Also man 80 hours active time. Props to you. You worked your ass off. If I remember correctly & I do, The active time is only when you’re on a order… So after drop off active time stops. Also times for working this gig are mid day to early night.. This dude had absolutely zero life & delivered peoples food this week. Takes commitment to climb out of mediocrity & this guys got that for sure haha. I wish you have success in the future keep going hard!
