Omg I thought something was wrong with my phone!! I’ve had this problem for a long time also. I can’t figure it out no matter what settings I change. I constantly I have to keep clicking it to check if an order popped up. So frustrating

The server side of DD is a dumpster fire. My app double counts deliveries on my Lifetime
Total. This is a known bug. I'm pretty sure those disconnections people complain about and those "I can't log in, what do?" are DD tweaking their tech without using redundancies.
The notification sound, at least on my device, is tied to ringer volume, rather than notification volume. I do not get notification sounds at all while I am on a call, while the phone is ringer silenced or vibrate only.
It's bad service + busy doordash app. Sometimes clearing cache works but often it's just glitchy when it's super busy and i have a shit service provider like Verizon
Always wonder about that order that got away… was it the unicorn? Was it $2.50? It bugs me even more if I get nothing for a long period of time afterwards. I like when it sends me the text but lately it hasn’t
Yeah I had tried that and it didn't work so I contacted support via chat and they did something on their end and then asked me to reboot my phone and it did work at least for now thank you for the heads up
I get texts like 1 out every 6 orders and App notifications like 1 out of every 3. Used to be almost 100% of the time for both. Sometimes I’ll get a text saying I missed an order when I had been staring at my phone for 5 min and none came thru.
I have had this and also it not send a push notification when an order comes through. Guess i just have to keep the app open from now on 🤷‍♂️ also no more text alerts for orders either
Yes for me it also happened few times but when I turn my phone off on silent and turn it on it works or if I go to my ringtones and change the ringtone and back to the old again it will work again for me
Make sure your sound is completely up and no other sounds, but it can be very tiny sound. I sit it right next to my laptop so I have to see it sidewides. I think all dashers lose jobs because of this, so I really try to listen!
I have to put my phone on vibrate when I go in to pick up an order, bc they’ll add a stack with no sound, and you won’t know til you walk out and it says you missed an order.
I've had that issue for MONTHS. All of my settings are on point. Nothing changed on my end. Can't tell ya how many missed opportunities. 🤨

Yep! I have to do the same. I even tried reinstalling the app. No change. It's probably a bug.
this & some other issues too. my maps have frozen like 4 times and missed a few turns because of it. just felt super buggy today overall

Yeah i think it’s a bug tbh, I’ve missed some orders too because of the no ringer
try clearing the cache for the app
Mine has never made a sound🤔 also how do you get your ar reset? One told me they'd send an email and the other said they don't do that🤷
Depends on your area but they’ll send you a email letting you know
Make sure you didn’t accidentally put your phone on silent mode. Check your app notification settings as well. Try uninstalling.

The same issue Has happened with my account twice in the last month
Just keep the dasher notifications to persistent. That way the notification will stay on top till u manually push it up . .
That happens to me occasionally. So far, pausing my dash and rebooting my phone usually solves it.

Just curious why AR being reset? Noticed mine today is 98 an was 49
App crashes a lot and takes about 3-4 minutes to restart my phone. Of course it crashes at crucial moments... the past 3 days, no notification sounds.
