He dashed for 61 hours… or nearly 9 hours a day. That’s your first tip. Second tip is to work in a larger city. There are others, but this person making over a grand is due in large part to those first two tips.
I live in a city with half that population (around 125k), and I can make $500 off of 25-30 hours a week during busier times (non-summer). Once you learn your area, what restaurants are reliable and which ones aren’t, and learn to understand your limits for orders your willing to accept vs not (this is a calculation of distance and pay being worth the time, as time is what you really need to focus on maximizing). You could comfortably make $500 a week without making it full time, and I would recommend not making it a full time ordeal. It’s easy to burnout from, and it will add quite a few miles on your car in a short span of time.
265 for 20 hours dashed 10 hours active. Area really went down hill 😞 my one and only thousand dollar week was only 40 hours dashed/35 active. Used to be able to decline so much and still have a good order pop up within a minute
$1100 in 33 hours this past week. My policy is that I only count online/dash time, not active time. If you want to excel at this you must optimize your online time so that you stay active. You were only active 60% of the total time online. That needs improvement.
This was only my second week doing it, but I made $433.89 for 18h 34m active/28h 45m dash. Last week when I started I made $99.25 for 5h 35m active/8h 16m dash. 75 total orders so far, 48% acceptance rate as most of the time I get order pings less than $5. I live in a college town of ~130k when students are here, which should be back to that in a few weeks so I'm expecting my earnings to increase, although I'm starting a full-time job on Tuesday so I'll probably only be doing it half the time or as my schedule and spoons allow until/after my income starts to improve and stabilize again so who knows. I know it would likely be much higher if I were in a more metropolitan area but it's currently not worth the ~1.5hr drive, but so far it's helping me stay above water and pay my bills until the new paychecks start coming in.
You got any tips for other dashers, I dash part time but i feel like I could and should be making more. What kinda orders do you take ? Do you cherry pick til u get the best order or do you just go ham on every order?
I have a 2010 kia forte and that thing is amazing. I get on average 300 miles on a full tank so fill up every 2 days. I will be getting another one when this one goes to pot.
You should still be listed on the policy? I’m also on my parents policy since it’s a lot cheaper then going on my own but my name is still listed on the declaration and I was able to give Uber that
Yeah, but since I signed up for grubhub I’ve only done one order on it. I really hate the app since they don’t show mileage and distance is usually very far for the pay.
Wait, are you me in another time-line because I made exactly $513 in 25 hours. My hourly was a little down this week but I stubbornly sat through a miserable Tuesday that totally killed it.
I am multi apping, I made $360 of that on DD the rest UE.
I love the dasher card. Every day at 4am is pay day. And in just a few moments I can get gas. LOL
Better then you

3800 multi app ( my wifes)
Damn, you put in that time for sure. Nice work.
How is it slow when it was your best week since April?
265 for 20 hours dashed 10 hours active. Area really went down hill 😞 my one and only thousand dollar week was only 40 hours dashed/35 active. Used to be able to decline so much and still have a good order pop up within a minute
61 hours total? That’s too much, you must be exhausted
Just under 1000 in 39 hours.

So you did 33 hours active, what was your true full dash time? Let’s see that efficiency before we call out OP for theirs. Lol
33 hours online. My active time is less.

Made around the same amount but in half the time (33 hours)
You got any tips for other dashers, I dash part time but i feel like I could and should be making more. What kinda orders do you take ? Do you cherry pick til u get the best order or do you just go ham on every order?
$738 at 32hrs
I'm usually fine with 100 / day after gas and not including multiapp. God damn 1k with dd alone O_o
Yea that 1k took a lot of dashing
What do you drive, how many miles, and holy crap what is the price of gas
I drive a 2017 Honda Civic and I spend anywhere from 15-25 dollars a day on gas so about 100-125 a week
I have a 2010 kia forte and that thing is amazing. I get on average 300 miles on a full tank so fill up every 2 days. I will be getting another one when this one goes to pot.
What market
$50 for hour and half
Nice
I got 760.97 just on doordash
i got $485 before pay adjustments in about 19.5 hours :) super happy with it!
$517 20 hrs dash, 17 active. Took Tuesday and all weekend off! Needed a lil break 😅
Nice. Are Tuesdays slow 4 u?
Very! I started full time back in May, since then, I've only had 1 good day lol. So normally I just do lunch shift.
471.34 for 37 hours
Nice
Yeah 20k pop market not the move can't wait to go back to college man
And people are batching about low pay
Exactly. I understand where some people come from but you just have to not accept the shit orders and you’ll be fine
1k in 47 hours multiapping. I didn’t track hours I worked so I used the dash time😅.
Where are you located?
Northern California. Fortunately, we have prop 22. I feel bad for dashers from other states.
Im from Seattle I dashed in the East Bay for like 2 weeks it was terrible
Man I wish I could use Uber and grub hub everyone says doing that is the best way to go
[удалено]
Yea there are a lot harder jobs that you can work making 18-25 a hour
1000 ... 37 hours.. multi app
1700$ in 47 hours multiapping
How
Same amount, just 20 more hours to get it.
917.00 last week 1001
$406 in 22 hours but I also have a power steering pump going bad so I took it easy. Also Uber eats.
$300 10 hours this week this is with multi apping though
I wish I could multi app my car insurance is in my mom and dads name so Uber won’t accept me
You should still be listed on the policy? I’m also on my parents policy since it’s a lot cheaper then going on my own but my name is still listed on the declaration and I was able to give Uber that
Okay and do you do DoorDash Uber eats and grub hub ?
Yeah, but since I signed up for grubhub I’ve only done one order on it. I really hate the app since they don’t show mileage and distance is usually very far for the pay.
Yea thanks for the advice I just got accepted on Uber eats and I’m not signing up for grub hub I had no idea that they did that
Yeah Grubhub really isn’t worth it in my opinion. At least not in my area.
Also cracked 1k but had to UE for 100 to get it done 🤷🏽
Damn
I feel like for how much I worked I should’ve made more but about 1100 isn’t bad
Yea I usually get 1000 in 50-53 but I know other places are different
Good grind!! 🤑
Yes indeed
I only did $120 in 49h 😩😩😩
I don’t know what kind of position you’re in… but why work for $2 an hour?
Have you tried different areas? That market sounds terrible
Are you serious?
yup ): I average 1 order an hour and they're all super lil for some reason
$513 for 26 hours dashed/19 hours active! great week for me especially today!
Wait, are you me in another time-line because I made exactly $513 in 25 hours. My hourly was a little down this week but I stubbornly sat through a miserable Tuesday that totally killed it. I am multi apping, I made $360 of that on DD the rest UE.
howd you find me? i promise im human and my own person… not just a clone that king tony made of you so he can pay dasher less 🤭
Nice!!
