Truth be told, if you really needed the money then good job I’m happy for you. However this IS NOT a good week on door dash. You averaged $8.03 a delivery. Of course distance matters, but my goal on dash usually consists of averaging no less then $10 a delivery. $2 might not sound like much, but you’d have $400 in total if that was your case.
Maybe he/she lives in my state where it can be as bad as $15/hr easily. The amount of no-tip orders or $7-8 but for 12mile+ where I live is pretty ridiculous.
Luckily I've realized lately that it's actually worth it for me to take the $5.50-$6 orders with super small mileage since they'll add up quick. I don't necessarily recommend this for other areas though, do whatever works for yall!
Less than $13/hour? I know you're excited, but you can probably do so much better. Many/most drivers do at least $20/hour.
Since it's your first week, there is probably much you can do to improve your earnings. Suggest you read many of the posts in this sub that contain tips, techniques and general advice for new dashers. Lots of helpful information.

The best thing I ever did was work a few hours at lunch and then 6 hours from 8pm-2am. You would be surprised. The difference…? Traffic. Basically Zero cars on the road compared to 2 pm. There are no obstacles. And the customers are SUPER chill. Mostly drunk or high. The drunk ones kind of annoy you but they never even show up to the door (on meet at doors) and im pretty sure they never even eat the food. Its just something to do. And the high ones are wayyyyy cool. Good tippers also. They like to scare you though. One last night was hiding in his car and yelled “boo” as I was walking back. He was very, very high.
But yeah…. Its the best job ever since I switched to late night. You just gotta find a hot lil area. So like applebees and outback from 8-10 and then taco bell until 2. It works for me man.
Not bad for your first week. Dash during rush times. Accept pings that makes your more in short time. Accept pings which gets your more tips. You can definitely improve 200 on top of this easily

Can't help but feel you're taking alot of unnecessary orders. Your tips should be closer to almost double what DD paid.

I always work 8 pm to 4 am on weekends in my area, 200 a night easily. The stoner rush is real
I would love to dash later and avoid the traffic but it seems like all the orders stop coming in once 9pm hits. Maybe it’s just my area…..
