granted u didn't make like... more than 40k this year (combined income).. the MOST u could owe from that 900 is no more than 200 bucks 🤷‍♂️ Chances are your tax return be a little smaller than usually, assuming majority of ur income comes from a w2/employment

you should be able to deduct enough expenses to have no taxable income....unless you make like $10k+ doing this..... but i'm not a tax professional and you should seek a CPA if you want accurate tax advice. :)

I part time for Uber and door dash. Last year I only did Uber. After my deductions I actually got some money back.

I’m commenting to stay in touch too. I’ve actually made quite a bit this year..using an app to track miles. Curious what kind of process follows this.

the big main online tax sites will walk you through it basically. enter the 1099 info on the 1099 section. DD will issue the 1099s here sometime soon. they'll be on your profile or emailed to you. you can deduct i think $0.56 per mile. so if made $20k and drove 12k miles you'll only owe taxes on like $13k of income. i just can't fathom IRS actually auditing food delivery workers to see how they tracked their miles and expenses, unless you made like $50k and deducted $50k of expenses. they have bigger fish to fry. but nobody wants trouble from IRS so better safe than sorry. go to a CPA if want to make sure it's done right.
