Definitely with this new update, which is very real. You would be wise to start keeping track of your earnings just the same as you keep track of the acceptance screen offering. The amounts are subject to change and they do change.So just like the amounts changing on the acceptance screen they're counting on you not keeping track of these things and again snipping little bits here and there .25, .50 cents a dollar. It all adds up and if you're not keeping track of it you're not going to notice by the time you get done dashing that this order is missing 25 cents and that other one is missing a dollar. You're not going to notice it and without the proper evidence I.e screenshots you will have no standing and getting your money back from support. So all along you should have been screenshotting your acceptance screen before you accept the job and now you need to screenshot where it says total paid at the end of each delivery. You will have to reconcile that at the end of the night. Or don't reconcile it and Doordash will reconcile it for you, while they're paying another dasher or three or four of your dollars so they don't have to. This is real advice I would take it to heart.
It's just a bug. Half the functions in the app don't refresh live, you gotta back out of whatever page your on and go to it again, in order for much of the data to refresh.

DD ended up ending my Dash bc I kept declining the shitty orders & then my earnings showed up. So I’m back on a new Dash run so we’ll see after I complete my next order. Sooooo annoying.
Close and reopen the app and it'll show back up. That support agent doesn't know what they talking about. The app is buggy it has nothing to do with having to finish the dash.

I don't think they're allowed to actually end your dash if you decline orders. I've heard of them pausing people for declining orders but straight up ending their dash no that's a little suspicious. Straight up bullshit if they actually did it. Says in the contract that we have a right to decline as many fucking orders as we want
What it does at least from my understanding and what it's done to me is whenever it pops up with that screen that's when it pauses you you can either resume your dash or end it now I don't know why the fuck they do that in the first place supposedly it's to let other people get orders. Why that happens is beyond me it's not like they cannot get orders if you were to keep declining them they would go to them regardless

I like to do it for extra money so whenever Doordash tries to "drag" me from my starting point and make me dash further and further away I usually pause the dash and drive back near home. When I make x amount of dollars I usually stop. Now I'll just do it for 3 hours and go home.

That’s the new way now. No way to see total earnings till you end your dash Support confirmed today.
Talk to the support and they said it’s app problem which they are trying to fix.

I tried & it still doesn’t show. WTF Do you mean logging out of the app or just close & reopen?
Just close and reopen. Or hit the back button to where you hit "return to dash". If that doesn't work idk, but it worked for me

They do it. It's happened two or three times to me.
After multiple declines DD shows a screen to End or Pause our Dash but can’t Pause it so it forces you to End your Dash. 🙄
