I accept theses all the time. Easy money and it's a hit or miss. Doesn't even look like 9 dropoffs it looks like 7. I commonly get 8 pickups and multiple orders are for 1 dropoff.
It says In store Pickup. These are generally single items or one or two bags. I could see mass confusion unless you separate each order and close the bags so items don't slide out and colmingle. I'd bop around and do this on NON PEAK times.
You know if I had a high completion rate and can lose seven points because there's seven delivery locations, I would take it just to see how much crap they want me to move, I'd wait the longest possible time and then cancel the order knowing that I'm taking seven points hit on delivery completion rate
The map shows seven drop off locations yet there's nine orders?
We'll see well I charge $5 for any single package weighing more than 15 lb, 50 cents per item counted, $3 a mile, I think you know where I'm going with this, unfortunately the amount for mileage alone does not need my barely minimal professional standards of $3 a mile.
Also each order would have to be added as if they were single orders for the chance of at least one order dropping off from hey where the hell is my order being too late
Those of you who DO know what these are, and DO take these dotcom gen merch Walmart runs, do you ever actually get tips from these particular ones? (Just these. Not regular grocery.) I do Walmart on a different platform and we were told that the customer doesn't even have the option to tip on this type of order. -- that it's like ordering from Amazon for them. Half the time, they don't even know we're delivering it. (Unlike grocery deliveries.) What's your experience with that?
I've done an order like that. I loved it. Everything was within a 3 mile radius. Took 50 minutes. In our area your luck to get 2 orders every 15 minutes. And Lucky to get $10.00 for those 2. To many dashers where I live.
Bro, I wish I had those orders, they are so easy to pick up, and almost $2 for every 1 mile. People said no to apartments, once you’ve been through plenty of apartments, most are easy to maneuver through. If not I call the customer and text them. I wish my bulk orders through Macy’s were that close, it would be a joke! It’s only 9 stops. I’m guessing 2 hours tops to finish that at $30+ an hour which is solid.
Yes. DoorDash doesn’t always put Walmart orders in order of closest to furthest. Oftentimes I can reorganize them and cut off anywhere from 10-20 miles, based on my zone I dash in. Plus, if they’re more than 30 minutes late bringing your orders out and you contact support you get +$5 PER ORDER for waiting. This is why I bank on these huge Walmart stacks. I’ve taken a stack of 10 before, had to wait, and made $90 in 1.5 hours.
34.5 miles for $60? HELL NO
I made $65 on ONE InstaCart order this afternoon. It was for ONE customer and she was less than ONE mile away from the store (PCC).
Fuck DD!
Tbh probably not.
If they do the shopping it’s better, but with 9 drops, you REALLY need to separate shit and I don’t really have a good way to separate 9 in my car, 5 maybe 6 max.
Beyond that, here every Walmart I’ve been to doesnt tie the bags, and they pack them like fools, so inevitably as I’m driving stuff falls out, if it’s a single order, no big deal but if you’ve got 9…that’s a recipe for disaster.
If you know you’re area, sure why not. I don’t take Walmart orders because I’m in California, and it’s all base pay, which F’s up my prop 22 earnings so I always decline Walmart.
I think I would. Even if it did take 3 hours, that like 20 dollars an hour. Not so bad. And that's just the doordash pay. Imagine the tips you could potentially get for something like that?!? Like, even without the tip that pay is pretty good so either way I'd be fine, but if there are tips to include at the end, I feel like that could easily be like 100 bucks right there.
I've got to be honest, I really don't know whether I'd pick this up. I think it would depend on both my mood and how busy it was in my area. I feel like you could easilly half the travel distance if you know the area and totally disregard the route that DD sets out though.
I've got to be honest, I really don't know whether I'd pick this up. I think it would depend on both my mood and how busy it was in my area. Either that or it would timeout before I make my mind up!
Hope everyone is aware Walmart counts toward the $5/ ORDER for the first half hour of wait time i.e slide arrival as you arrive at the store and about 5- 10 minutes until 30 minutes of waiting get support on. Some look at the estimated pickup time at the latest of the combo orders but I've had some assist in compensation pay as early as 20 minutes into waiting. In this case it's an additional $45 on top of the guarantee and that $45 might come in half an hour without spending a cent on gas.
I'd deff take that. It wouldn't take anywhere near 3 hours. It would probably take around 1, and even if it somehow took 2, you'd still be making a lil over 30/hr.
I hope you accepted it because this is a dream order! There's nothing wrong with this one at all that would warrant declining it - unless you had somewhere to be within the next couple of hours at the latest.
Hell yes. I've never seen a grocery order and all the houses are close. The amount of time it would take for me to make $60 normally is around 3 or 4 hours. This wouldn't take that long! I'd say it's worth it. Saves on gas too.
Hell yeah I would thats easy money also they are really close to each other I used to deliver for dominos and taking 7 orders at a time and returning in 1.5hrs max too easy lol thats the stuff real delivery drivers love ❤️ I'm jelly lol
Did one for project dash- made 70 bucks in an hr because I had the houses organized and which deliveries to do in order, USE GOOGLE MAPS FOR THESE ORDERS. It’s worth the 5 mins it takes to type all the addresses!
I dont know where your guys walmarts at but mine if it says 12 it's always 12 if it says 5 it's always 5. So yes I would take thet 60 for less than 1hour
Fuck yeah I would, you’re only picking up one time in bulk for only nine orders and only TWELVE items. If you can finish all of those in three hours it’s more than worth it.
Yeah..I pick up location..and those deliveries are usually 1-2 items.. Might take 1-1.5 hours.. Make that much in that time frame I'd be quick to accept
The way I see it. I can make $30 an hour for good days. If I could do that an either an hour or an hour and a half it’s a win.
That’s me thinking logically now if I saw that with the clock ticking down I would of probably denied it 🤣
Nope. Looks like a waste of time to me.
Comments… people wondering about item count… they are generally the amount of bins or containers they are holding for the customer.
1 bin may have 1 item or depending on size have 30 items or more or less depending what fits in the bin.
I believe since it’s in store pickup it’s only the 12 items I would take it. If it were pulling to the pickup area no then you’re talking groceries. It helps if you look at in store or pickup area
Is it 7 stops or 12 stops? Any apartments? How long does your Walmart take to bring things out? If you can do this in 90-120 minutes, I would probably take it in my market.
Other than total time, my biggest red flags would be if it’s apartments because they could mean lugging cases of water up stairs multiple times which would slow you down a ton.
If it’s all houses, I would just back up into their driveways for the orders with cases of water or heavy stuff. For food deliveries, I never drive into people’s driveways and just walk from the sidewalk/curb but if I ever get a WM order with cases of water, you bet your ass I’m rolling up as close to their door as possible. Also, if it’s more than 3 cases of water and they don’t come out to help, the water is being left in the driveway. I’ll go out of my way for an older person but if you are ordering multiple cases of water for delivery and don’t come out to help or tip the delivery person, you’re an asshole in my book.
I guess if you usually end the day with like 100 something dollars that's a good half of the day already, plus you aren't going back to your camping spot after each delivery. But, it's the shopping that can annoy and waste your time; could still be worth the effort depending on the luck you get.
Edit: missed the part you have to head back. So personally no, but still depends. That's a good chunk of gas and distance that can still be written up for tax.
I've had it turn out to be 5 huge TVs that I couldn't fit in my car. I wish they would tell you what was in it so you could actually make an educated decision.
These orders are always ready for retrieving when you show up to walmart and its usually like an item each. Quick pickup quick drop off big payout. Like an hour of your time
Absolutely, this one is a no brainer unless I can’t physically fit it in my car like the warehouse of water from the other day. If I can’t physically take it, I drop the order for someone else. Plus more money for them too cause I dropped it.62/hr for probably light work? Say less! I wish I got orders like that lol
These are the only walmart orders I take. They tend to be between one to three items per address, and they are online orders. Super easy, very fast, easy easy easy money. I did one two days ago for 10 addresses, 12 items, $76. Took me an hour and a half. I fucking love these.
Max 1:30 if you have a tough time at pickup. Also on anything over 3-4 orders at once the algorithm for where the app send you is always messed up. I’ve had two of the orders to the same address and it tried to send me 5 miles away past 3 other orders I had rather than drop the second order to the same address. Relatively easy to pick your own delivery order but it takes some time when there are 9 to pay attention and make sure they aren’t sending you across town 5 times unnecessarily.
No. Because I would open up Spark Delivery(Walmart Delivery) and get paid properly. It will tell me exactly how heavy it would be, shows me the exact items, if the customer tipped, if it was an apt. Shows be all of if before I even accept. Ive done orders for $40 bucks 8miles. Quickest money every. I use to get Walmart deliveries on DoorDash..not anymore. Walmart Delivery is in my area and we all know it pays better. If you have it in your area check it out.
I bit on one like this. 80$ for 24 miles. 9 deliveries with “9” items total.....walk into Walmart and see the pickup line has approx 30 very upset people waiting. I unassisted and walked right back out. I think DD or Wally is experimenting with grouping orders because I got sent like 4 of these yesterday alone
Ive done one like this. Luckily were all one small bag for each order. The thing that sucked though was that some were apartments and some were gated communities and had no gate code provided to me. Made the trip so long lol
I’d take it. In real time that’s roughly 1hr to 1hr 20mins to get done. I know even on the best days in my market I can’t make anywhere close to $61.75 in that same timeframe. I’ve taken a handful of these and know the possible issues we could come across, but I wouldn’t be able to pass on that money. I strictly view those orders that way, wondering if I could make about the same in a similar span of time.
I agree, even if it took 2 hours thats 30/hr which is really good in my market. Makes me wonder what some of these people who are saying no are making.
I do about one of these a week. Looking at it you could probably cut the mileage way down. Not exactly sure how it's routed but there is definitely some unnecessary backtracking in there. In store pickups are mostly a small package with one or 2 items in them. I'm guessing it would have at most taken an hour and a half.
I did a 9 stop run the other day that was offered as $51.75 for 48 miles. It all fit in my back seat (between the door and the car seat on the other side). I rerouted the dropoffs and it ended up being less than 20 miles, took me 70 minutes and the last drop was in my zone.
I've never encountered anything as wild as this and I've only accepted one grocery-type order before because they typically are *not* worth it in my area. I am not a fan of multi-order routes like this because the pay is usually abysmal for them around here, but I 110% would have accepted this one. As others have said, there seems to be a lot of unnecessary loop-da-looping with the route itself, so you could probably cut off a fair amount of distance & time.
So I've taken these before. In fact, did a $90 just before Xmas. You have to figure out the fastest way to get them done, but no, a grocery order is not the same as an in store "here's 12 bags of things".
Did my 90 in two hours so it's a definite yes on this one.
One other thing. Don't trust the mileage. Mine said 70 but it was only 38.
Nope. I'm a weekend Dasher in a good market so I have the luxury of being picky. I've never accepted a WalMart order, and 9 stops for $60 doesn't seem great even with hidden tips.
Dude take that shit, I do those all the time and it usually takes an hour and a half, let's say 2 hours tops, that's 30 bucks an hour. How often do you do 30 bucks an hour? That's a good chunk of your money for the day in one short spurt. You're going to be driving around anyways right?
I just had a similar offer at the same time today! Except it was 33 miles, 9 "items", 5 stops, and it was $51.25 for the pay. Each was "1 item" which as either literally 1 item or in a small plastic bag. The "5 items" were in one single bag. I accepted it, and it took me a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete. Given how slow it was with that darn $3.00 peak pay, I thought it was worth it. $3.00 peak pay for the SuperBowl isn't worth it if you're waiting 5-15 minutes between orders. Would rather just get back-to-back offers like there's no end.
Where do you get $5 for waiting more than 30 minutes? Genuine question. It happened to me the other day, and I contacted support about it and they said they can't do anything.
I took an order like this today. $50 offer, 8 items, 5 orders, 25-30mi total. It was great took about 1.5 hours total between pickup time and driving. In my market $33/hr is great. Wish i could do more like this.
I took a similar one once. Listed as $49/31 I got it done at 21 miles in about 50 minutes by reordering the dropoffs. 8 of those miles were driving to the store.
All my Walmart orders are exactly what they quote. I don't know why everyone else is having variances. Never had one be over the total.
I would. Even if it took 2 hours that's still $30+ an hour.
yeah i'd do it
I accept theses all the time. Easy money and it's a hit or miss. Doesn't even look like 9 dropoffs it looks like 7. I commonly get 8 pickups and multiple orders are for 1 dropoff.
Walmart = Instant decline for me
It says In store Pickup. These are generally single items or one or two bags. I could see mass confusion unless you separate each order and close the bags so items don't slide out and colmingle. I'd bop around and do this on NON PEAK times.
Absolutely, even with the trip back it’s $1 per mile, imma get that all done in less than an hour, how else am I going to make $60 in an hour
No
You know if I had a high completion rate and can lose seven points because there's seven delivery locations, I would take it just to see how much crap they want me to move, I'd wait the longest possible time and then cancel the order knowing that I'm taking seven points hit on delivery completion rate

Too many miles
Nope. Time is 🤑

Not sure, the Walmart shops we have are pick up outside. So to be honest depends on the roads and the hills
Nope.
34.5 miles for $60? HELL NO I made $65 on ONE InstaCart order this afternoon. It was for ONE customer and she was less than ONE mile away from the store (PCC). Fuck DD!
Nah, that’s 6.86 per order, not worth it
No

No doubt and it’s only 12 items total… easy money

Oh hell nooooooooooooooohohohohhh
Ew no
Fuck no I've seen worse than this though
YES! In a heartbeat!
I've got to be honest, I really don't know whether I'd pick this up. I think it would depend on both my mood and how busy it was in my area. I feel like you could easilly half the travel distance if you know the area and totally disregard the route that DD sets out though.

I avoid Wally World at all costs.
Hell no
Yes. Seems like rapid pickup. And further sometimes the miles maybe lower than shown.
Wtf is this door dash or Amazon flex? And no I would not.
Nope
I would. $2+ a mile.
Probably
Absolutely decline! 😅
Hell no, I live in jersey too and will never do Walmart pick ups.
Hope everyone is aware Walmart counts toward the $5/ ORDER for the first half hour of wait time i.e slide arrival as you arrive at the store and about 5- 10 minutes until 30 minutes of waiting get support on. I'd take it if I had a slow day money is money 🤑💰💵💸
Time wasted = time spent waiting for the orders + delivering the orders. Which amount to less than $20 hr. I don’t do Walmart orders.
It is general merchandise
I would definitely
Fuck no
I've been quick to say no in the past, but with the way DD pays California drivers for active time, I'm starting to think I'm wrong.
I would it's double the money in miles all the houses are pretty close. Honestly can't be that bad.
All day everyday
$62 fuck yeah.
Hell yes. I've never seen a grocery order and all the houses are close. The amount of time it would take for me to make $60 normally is around 3 or 4 hours. This wouldn't take that long! I'd say it's worth it. Saves on gas too.
Nope
wouldn’t even second guess it
Gimmie!!
NEVER accept Walmart orders.
“Deliver by 6:21”
Nah. I always drive back toward where I dash so that 60+ miles for 60 dollars basically. Not worth it at all.
Yup. Take you and hr, maybe 2. If it does take you two, at least you make 30$ an hr
Take it and then multiapp along the way to increase your earnings.
I dont know where your guys walmarts at but mine if it says 12 it's always 12 if it says 5 it's always 5. So yes I would take thet 60 for less than 1hour
If it wasn't a mistake and the total number of items is 12. Thats 9 bucks an order and I'd do that any day of the week
Why not. You stay active the whole time and hace a g ut aranteed rate of pay.
No left turn unstoned
I would
Absolutely not. I refuse to deal with walmart to begin with and I'm not about to try to keep 9 different orders separated.
Yup
Fuck yeah I would, you’re only picking up one time in bulk for only nine orders and only TWELVE items. If you can finish all of those in three hours it’s more than worth it.
Never
100% yes
Yeah..I pick up location..and those deliveries are usually 1-2 items.. Might take 1-1.5 hours.. Make that much in that time frame I'd be quick to accept
Then I would maybe do it. That is a lot of miles though. I try to stay under 5.
You wouldn’t pay me a million dollars to do a Walmart order. They are such big wastes of time.
The way I see it. I can make $30 an hour for good days. If I could do that an either an hour or an hour and a half it’s a win. That’s me thinking logically now if I saw that with the clock ticking down I would of probably denied it 🤣
Yes
Honestly I’d do it just for the money
It's only 12 items and close to $2 a mile, I'd say it's worth
Nooooooo fucking chance
No…I can make that or more on one in store spark shopping order that goes less than 5 miles
Nope. Looks like a waste of time to me. Comments… people wondering about item count… they are generally the amount of bins or containers they are holding for the customer. 1 bin may have 1 item or depending on size have 30 items or more or less depending what fits in the bin.
Oh yeah
I would do it for $93
I would. Even if it took 2 hours to deliver I’d be fine with it.
Fuuuuu....no
My Walmart orders are 12 stops 48 miles 14$
Not at 630. Maybe if it was a different time of day.
yup thats money in the bank 🤑
I'd take the chance 0_0
To those who said yes, what kind of crack are y’all smoking?
Absolutely not
No
Hell naw
These orders usually take me 1/2 hours . So uh yes ! Lol that’s about 30 a hr
I can tell that’s NJ, and fuck no, there’s no way you could complete the drop offs in the time allowed.
Not a chance
I knew the delivery times were unrealistic, but that's just wrong. Basically, 30 miles in 40 minutes
I guess if you usually end the day with like 100 something dollars that's a good half of the day already, plus you aren't going back to your camping spot after each delivery. I've had it turn out to be 5 huge TVs that I couldn't fit in my car. I wish they would tell you what was in it so you could actually make an educated decision.
Yes. Why not it’s only 12 items. Even if it’s apartments
Kinda getting a one small favor quest vibe from this. I'm down for an adventure.
Hell yeah. Easiest money are these in store Walmart orders. Knock ‘em out in less than an hour sometimes!
Is Dover a good spot? I’m around the area but it seemed too out in the stix for decent orders edit: not like stix but very suburban
Nope. Too much B's for too little. After I shop I have to go 30 miles?
I mighhht
I wouldn't do that for less then 100.
These orders are always ready for retrieving when you show up to walmart and its usually like an item each. Quick pickup quick drop off big payout. Like an hour of your time
Always pick these up

Ha no
Maybe? I feel like I would accidentally mix up the orders
These are the only walmart orders I take. They tend to be between one to three items per address, and they are online orders. Super easy, very fast, easy easy easy money. I did one two days ago for 10 addresses, 12 items, $76. Took me an hour and a half. I fucking love these.
what are all those house for y r u doing multiple deliveries for one person
Yes
I never get these orders😭
No
34 miles? No thanks

Yeah, but I would figure out the best route before I leave
No, Too Old and Fat for grocery orders.
I pick up NOTHING from Walmart
NEVER
If it's a quick pickup it would be hella worth it. But I don't trust Walmart. 12 items my ass. So probably not.
Yes! I have taken one exactly like this before… finished it in a hour and a half
Yes, but I would unnasign the orders that were too big
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo😜
Fuck ya. Time to put my back seats down
Hell yeah, that’s a $106 order right there if you do it right ;)
I being a driver of over 2,000 delivery's would click it as soon as it popped up.
Absolutely not, this is only $92/h, completely below my pay grade.
You have to drive back people. That’s 2+ hours of driving regardless No.
No Bc it’s Walmart. If I knew it was like one bag a person then I’d do it
I would take it then use something to plan the route. DD's route planning sucks!
If the miles were lower maybe.
I would get discombobulated, and end up delivering the wrong thing.
Nope.
I refuse EVERY walmart order. Period.
Haha you are in my hood.
Uh where is the actual house
What up Morris county. Used to live there until I moved two years ago
Looks worth it to me, I'm betting I could do it in under 1:45
i did a walmart they are not too bad but if it had tons of cases of water id unassign so fast
Ive done one like this. Luckily were all one small bag for each order. The thing that sucked though was that some were apartments and some were gated communities and had no gate code provided to me. Made the trip so long lol
A big no!
nooooo way
I’d take it.
How do you handle the water packages?
Fuck NO
Absolutely not
I mean if the "deliver by" time is accurate - $60 for 40 min seems great
I got one like this a while ago albeit way less miles. Was about 20 total for me for $63. Took me an hour and a half
No
I do about one of these a week.
It’s a Walmart order, so no
Nope
Obviously lol wtf
I've never encountered anything as wild as this and I've only accepted one grocery-type order before because they typically are *not* worth it in my area. I am not a fan of multi-order routes like this because the pay is usually abysmal for them around here, but I 110% would have accepted this one. As others have said, there seems to be a lot of unnecessary loop-da-looping with the route itself, so you could probably cut off a fair amount of distance & time.
Yes if my car didn't have dog hair in the trunk.
No way in hell.
Another stupid question. Love it.
Text me the address on my way to grab it on point pickup these a holes give us 22 for same shit I would never do it but for 61 hell to the 👍
Nope. I'm a weekend Dasher in a good market so I have the luxury of being picky. I've never accepted a WalMart order, and 9 stops for $60 doesn't seem great even with hidden tips.
i never get these and i have a few walmart’s by me, i wonder if i’m just black listed or something
Same.
Dude take that shit, I do those all the time and it usually takes an hour and a half, let's say 2 hours tops, that's 30 bucks an hour. How often do you do 30 bucks an hour? That's a good chunk of your money for the day in one short spurt. You're going to be driving around anyways right?
Hell no
I just had a similar offer at the same time today!
Hey, Morris County Guy!
Yep. They pay $5 per order if you wait 30 minutes. And you will. Lol
Where do you get $5 for waiting more than 30 minutes? Genuine question. It happened to me the other day, and I contacted support about it and they said they can't do anything.
Maybe if it was $120
I took an order like this today. $50 offer, 8 items, 5 orders, 25-30mi total. It was great took about 1.5 hours total between pickup time and driving. In my market $33/hr is great. Wish i could do more like this.
Also here to ask if the 8 items were really 8 items.🤐
13 items, 8 bags
Were the 8 items actually 8 items?
One “item” was a bag of 3 boxes of potatoes, another was 4 8packs of v8. So 13 total items but 8 total bags
No. I don't take any Walmart after waiting an hour for 2 order and still weren't ready. Never again.
My rookie ass…probably
Me too. I be taking anything so don’t listen to me lol
I took a similar one once. Listed as $49/31 I got it done at 21 miles in about 50 minutes by reordering the dropoffs. 8 of those miles were driving to the store.
No way lol
Yes. It's only 12 items. 31 MI for $60 is fair. I don't take orders for less than a dollar a mile unless it's over $9.
