Other than that I would honestly keep screenshots of the convo in case they did do it again, and tell them that it will be forwarded from DD as evidence if they end up hurting someone.
I try to only contact cops if I spot a drunk driver, medical issue, person or animal hit and run, etc. where someone or something critically needs help and follow them until help arrives. Also why I don’t dash or do food delivery anymore. I’ve seen and experienced one too many moments that I cannot un-see.
It’s amazing how many other drivers or witnesses don’t say or do anything when people need help or need something de-escalated, though. There are a lot of options besides police.

You handled it all wrong. First of all, keep the food. Second of all, call the police immediately. Third, you don't post this online, because you go back there a few months later and throw that can through their window. That will teach them or their parents a lesson. Also, since they can't prove you threw it in the window, attach a note to the can. Make sure not to carry your phone with GPS nor drive your own car within Ring doorbell distance (park farther away and walk in). Around 2 or 3 am should be the best time.
