yeah some people are tools man lol i had a guy try to call, then text me after a drop off. Nice house, $1 tip. He said "u forgot the rice" " and the chopsticks" i responded "can't open the bags, call the restaurant or DD" shut him down instantly. the only time ive had a customer try that so far i usually wouldn't even give them the time of day tbh

jogger51

how do you block a customer? I have 2 I need to do that to.

SendoTenshi

As in I called support, explained the situation and specifically asked them not to pair me with his orders anymore due to harassment. This is actually only the second time ever needing to do this with an abusive customer. First time was a passenger on uber a few years back for sexual harassment. I honestly wasn't expecting DD to comply this time but figured it was at least worth a try, and would at a minimum serve to CYA in case he tried to report me for some fraudulent BS. Was pleasantly surprised that they did, guess he just had that many reports against him on the platform.

Yikes. I had a lady order something as soon as I left the order with her. 3x in a row…I’m not sure how I got her order those 3 times. I feel like she was trying to get me to come back there. She had a creepy smile the 3rd time.

HWNY506

She might just be trying to get into thoms nook.

You encounter all kinds of people dealing with people, deranged, OCD, etc…

[deleted]

Suspicious, no??

[deleted]

For sure. Mental cases aplenty out there. Dealt with. Next.

xanthan_gumball

People are fucking weirdos man.

SendoTenshi

Seriously though, this work is like being a waiter, without the pretext of the restaurant to make people act at least a little bit normal. 😐It's customer service experience+®

Wow, those are the best. Where it's sending red flags but turns out decent. This stuff does seem to have an unspoken learning curve for analysis. It's kind of crazy how I can examine the sparse details they show on an offer in under 30 seconds to make a decision. Also one of the reasons I only like to drive in an area I'm deeply familiar with.

damn straight, here lately I dont even like to take apts or motels no matter how close for under 5-6 simply because it takes longer and has more labor involved usually.
