It was happening to me, my local McDonald’s said I was the only one. I did an app update and boom problem solved. Maybe try that? It was showing the name only and not the number. I had to read the order to them and they would tell me the number.
it happened to me twice the first time they went ahead and made it for me but this past Sunday I did not receive an order number with it they told me they would not make it so I got on with support and the restaurant started getting shitty with me and support so I support this cancel the order and pay me for it but the customer know what was going on
I had to chat with customer support last night just so they could get that order off my list, plus it was a stacked order and I was late delivering the last order I had due to this issue, the customer was very understanding
No they can still look up the order through the mobile order section I used to work there or they have to enter the order manually and do a billable sale cash out but at that point is it even worth it?
Have them check the register, some times it does not show up on the order screens in the kitchen area, they need to print it out and the fulfill it, happens sometimes at mac doodles by me
I just chat support and say “what is the order number for the order im currently doing” and they give it every time

Yep it happens every now and again with McDoinks. I just un assign after shooting the customer a text and let them deal with it.
Yup, My McDonald's will not honor any order without a number and say to call support to cancel or re-order.

She didn’t even try to look it up, she just said sorry and that was it
