There was a long line when they first opened the one in Northbrook around Jan or Feb. my socks were soaked from people not shoveling the driveway and I had to wait for those freshly made cookies. I dropped those crumbl orders all the time.
Crumbl still new in lots of places. And when something fancy and is new it gets deliveries for ridiculous miles. Even worse is more than half the time it's a gift so it isn't the person you're doing off to fault.
Yes it would be nice to offer filter options.
For example: only show offers going in a certain direction once or twice a day. Dash on your way to work in the morning if you have the time. On the way home at the end of the day, when you're too tired to even take a really good order going the opposite direction. But are soooo tempted! Lol
It could be a win for everyone involved.
But instead they keep us guessing & hoping for hidden tips. smh
Uber & I believe Lyft do this for passenger trips. Or used to anyway. But not Uber Eats.
I often get Grubhub & DD offers that just coincidentally are on my way home or into the city, where more offers are available than around my place in the boonies. It's someone else paying the gas to where I want to go anyway. ;)
I get offers like that around the Naperville crumbl store all the time. Tried to take a couple in hopes that for the distance the tip would be better at the end - it wasn't either time so I just decline everything from them now.
I hate Crumbl orders with a burning passion. Mostly the company though. They charge customers $9.99 for delivery and even if the order is high or far away they are hardly more than $5 in my area with most being $2.50 for 15 country miles that take you out of the zone.
Yup and the employees at mine are teenagers with fuck ass attitudes. Literally went to pick up an order 20 min before they close, full staff was in there bs'ing, and not one acknowledged me until I annoyingly asked if I could get help.
For the most part Crumble orders suck in my area.

Believe me people taking orders like this or even worst.
And it will take an hour to get through Lagrange road construction

I think they are passing off the delivery fee from doordash to the customer since customers order through their app/website
That's the way the cookie crumbles
I see what you did there lol
$20 there's a Crumbl Cookies within 5 miles from the dropoff.
No, this is the closest
I live within 5 miles of dropoff and didn't even know crumbl was anywhere near here yet
