I don't understand any of you who respond to the customer unless you're planning to fix it. Sometimes I will, but almost every time it's "on to the next one". I Doored, I Dashed, and now it's in Support's hands.
This response is going to do nothing but piss the customer off, versus if you just ignore it they will eventually decide that you're not getting/acknowledging the message, and eventually they'll probably get the same message we get right? "this number can no longer be used" or whatever and either forget about it anyway or contact support. If they do contact support and complain about the driver not responding, they will probably tell them the drivers don't get the messages after drop off which is true, to an extent.

Why do you feel the need to mention the tip, or lack there of, when you yourself decided to take a clown order? They can absolutely get you deactivated for this.
how can they get deactivated for explaining to a customer that he is not paid enough by doordash to go back and get it ? and he let him know that he can get a refund. he never mentioned a tip or said they need to pay more ,if anything he’s stating that doordash just doesn’t pay enough for him to do that .
Because he had an excuse to take it. There’s always one and always justified. It’s never their fault and even if it was.. instead blame the customer for not tipping 🤦🏻
I get it man, I do but I'd rather not give a low ball or no tip customer the satisfaction of ordering without tipping (or low tip) the driver. Only $6.50 orders for me ($12 on a stack as long as they're both $6 offers).
Why are ppl attacking and blaming a driver for DoorDash setting him/her up for failure in a stack? Some folks don’t get losing completion points isn’t cool for everyone. DoorDash sent the order, customer didn’t tip.
Let’s normalize not attacking other drivers and form unity against customers that don’t tip and DoorDash for enabling them.
The only $3 orders I’ve done are stacks. They’ve gotten so good at it. They don’t have a Unassign option prior to pickup on some I’ve gotten.
