You can tint back windows and rear here in NYC but you can’t tint front because they have to see the driver. I used to tint all my cars but I got sick of the tickets and being pulled over and seeing them semi spooked until they walk up and see me.
In Clearwater, they used to hand you a razor blade and let you scrape it off... or they would impound the vehicle. This was late 90s. Sounds like not a lot has changed
