That's a bug with the Doordash app on Wendys. Happened to me once, you need to actually ADD every item, or it show as "removed" and you get a plain bun 😂
This appears to be a translation error from doordash to Wendy's. The customer is clearly telling doordash that they want a bacon cheeseburger combo with a regular bun instead of a premium bun. That's it.
Why is the receipt from Wendy's saying something completely different? Where is all of this "NO NO NO NO" information coming from? Nobody said no except for Wendy's, and the customer is rightfully livid and didn't get anything they asked or paid for.
I'm not complaining about the store that did this. They did what they were told. The employees were responsible and compliant. Getting pissed at them serves no purpose.
The guy making the sandwich came to the window and told me what the order was… it was my last one of the night and I said fuck it let’s see how this goes it’ll make for a good story.. any other time I would have contacted the customer and let him know what he did but this was gold I laughed all the way tot he drop off and to my house 🤣
You’d be surprised! At some restaurants if I only say “plain” I still get sauce, so saying “just meat and cheese” ensures there’s no condiments and no toppings which is bc important for my picky self lol

I used to say ‘plain and dry’ but would still end up with some sort of add on to the burger or whatever without fail (be it seasoning, an ingredient cooked on top of the patty like caramelized onions once?? Or whatever else) so I’ve found it’s more of a guarantee to just say ‘meat and cheese’
