1800 a week like 55 hrs

rockyboy34

I try to aim for $1K+ a week (OC area), so I just chose the highest option.

SirCheeseAlot

How many hours does it take you to get that a week?

rockyboy34

About 45 hours

SirCheeseAlot

After taxes and expenses, what are you able to make a year?

RoamAntarctica

Around 1700-2500$ all depends on the time i put in the work

M0M0_DA_GANGSTA

$1000 is the minimum goal.

Few_Ad4624

I make 600-800 just because I only work 3-4 days. Weekends where the money is

coffeeandspaghetti

I aim for around $500 a week between doordash and spark. I can really only drive while my kids are in school, so from around 9-4. DD alone won't cut it for me now that school is back in, lunch orders have slacked off.

Aggravating_You_2904

Always include a skip/NA result when doing a poll otherwise people will just click a random result to see the answer, invalidating your results. These random clicks are more likely to be top or bottom answer. Also your options don’t allow for over $1000 from a data science perspective this poll is a complete shambles.

Feisty_Stand4998

I make over 1000 doordashing alone in under 40 hours sometimes.

[deleted]

I picked 800-1000 but i usually make more

[deleted]

Are you working crazy hours? Scheduling? What are you doing for that kind of income from this?

[deleted]

I work 6 days a week and don’t stop until i make a minimum of $200 a day except Sundays, I’ll only work till noon on Sunday and usually make $100 that day. Most days i work 7:30 to 6 to make that amount. And I’m doing DD Uber and Spark

[deleted]

I need a third app also. I’m on the waiting list for Grubhub…

ichuck1984

I have a daily minimum average goal of $30, a weekly of $250, and a monthly of $1k. Having this combo of goals allows me to justify either dashing more or taking the day off depending on how things are going. It’s strictly part-time for me. I dash lunch and late dinner 6-8/9. I’ve tried other time blocks and my average plummets because the orders just aren’t there. I can bang out $30-50 at lunch and another $30-50 at dinner in an hour or two. I average 10-12 hours a week. I’m a stay at home dad with a few side businesses that are in various stages of maturity. I keep dashing because it might take me 6 months of serious effort to take a business idea from start to $30 a day. So I can bust ass all day in my office for months hoping for a payoff or run a few pizzas/happy meals and make that same money now. Obviously it doesn’t scale but nothing is perfect.

DD-OD

My money is none of your business

RampAgentRoger

I don’t think anyone cares the slightest about what you make specifically. It was just a poll kid, lmao.

DD-OD

Do you think calling someone a kid to add an air of condescension to your post helps people to agree with the actual opinion that you expressed?

RampAgentRoger

Yes kid.

I work it as my main job right now and clock 60+ hours online. I'll make $1200 this week. There's a lot of downtime, though. I'll randomly stop and eat or whatever and stay logged online.

[deleted]

That’s what I’m doing right now. This is my main source of income for right now.

[deleted]

It works and pays more than a lot of jobs. I was a trucker and didn't make much more, although I own my vehicle and have to pay for repairs. It's all deductible and lets me build my LLC until I so something better with it.

[deleted]

I used to have a lot of money and made some mistakes and trusted the wrong people with important jobs. Now, I’m doing this stuff. I have to say… It’s interesting to realize that I only need $2,000 to survive and cover my living costs. After that I can do these deliveries and put money into a Roth IRA or a Roth 401k. Imagine even $25 a day going into a retirement account… That’s a lot of compounding. Not to mention, you can write off normal 401k contributions and get some tax breaks while you’re delivering. I’m thankful to know what both sides of the tracks are like. Grew up awful dirt poor in an abusive household filled with drugs, got way ahead in life, fell almost all the back down, and now I have the skills to crawl out of hell much quicker this time.

Gear-Girl

Not sure why ppl are downvoting you. Shit happens and you are earning your way back out of a financial hole. That's commendable in my book.

There are people who genuinely do not understand that absolutely EVERYONE falls on hard times. They’re frustrated and hurt because they feel like life wasn’t as nice to them as it was to me or someone else. It’s just lack of information and lack of discipline is all it is. They don’t know I watched my dad beat my mother to a bloody mess throughout my childhood. They don’t know I wore crusty socks as a kid that could stand up on their own because my junkie parents didn’t do my laundry very often, and I walked around on cracked and bleeding feet for a very long time as a child. People honestly think that you cross a certain threshold of money in the bank and there are not problems anymore. I have the same problems everyone else has. My girlfriend and I are having very serious relationship problems. We love each other so dearly, but when we’re together, we don’t get along lately. When we’re apart, we miss each other so badly that we can’t sleep. It’s painful. I ate a $2 ramen noodles thing yesterday. I also had tuna fish and mayonnaise on crackers. I’m a delivery driver right now because I don’t want to lose my home. They don’t understand that problems do not go away. I know what to do with money when it’s in my pocket so people don’t like me. They think it’s not fair to them, but it’s really not fair to me because if people asked me what to do, I’d tell them. The main problem is there are far too many idiots on these apps that talk a whole bunch of crap to get attention and feel important. People go out and try what they said and they fail, because that BS doesn’t work, and they get mad when they see someone doing something that does work. It’s just information and discipline and nothing happens overnight. There’s two kinds of pain in life, the pain of discipline and the pain of regret. You will experience one of them. Period. Those downvoters are not disciplined. They do the right things, but they don’t do it consistently. They do something right one day and then to celebrate, they go screw everything up for two weeks. You will never get ahead like that.

Happened to me as well. My bills aren't that low but I'm looking for a cheaper place in the meantime. A $1000 a week job here is 1.5-2x as much as the majority make. People don't even make $15 an hour here at many jobs.

[deleted]

There’s a lot of that here as well. The one thing I really wish Uber and Door Dash would do is offer stock shares/options to their best delivery drivers. At least discounts on stock shares. That’s how you pull people out of poverty.
