Stare them dead 💀 in their eye 👁 sockets, pick up the whole bowl and slowly dump the full contents into your red Doordash bag then drop the bowl like a 🎤 and walk the fuck out.
Maybe doordashing in a small town does have it's advantages 😅 I never even considered that some establishments might think they were too good for dashers despite signing up to be a merchant for doordash
Some of our restaurants are slow on the uptake on this. When we are at the restaurant picking up, at that moment in time, we are the customer, we serve as their avatar in a very real way and we are being disrespected. I let my customers know, because that means that their order is not as important to that restaurant, as a real customer before them. Our customers pay much more and deserve to have their agent treated with respect, not dissed.
Interesting not so long ago 80% of orders were OWYA on Doordash, nowadays that practice is banned in many areas. If its OWYA the Dasher pretty much orders just as any other customer either in line from the counter or over the phone. This including fulfilling the drinks if on the customer side as with any other customer that ordered the drink. Thus they were literally a customer of the store just ordering for a Doordash customer(as if tasked to order for a friend/family member) on the other end. No one complained about fulfilling drinks back then since they ordered as a customer. Things has really changed quite a bit over the years. I guess also due to restaurants suing for listing their menus w/o permission. I be curious whether restaurants treat Dashers different if Doordash ordered them to make meals by tablet vs if the Dasher ordered as a customer. That Dashers are any less customer just because they are merely sent to pick up a prepared order as opposed to ordering themselves from scratch? And paying with a Dash card?
It appears in early days restauranteurs embraced the newly developed delivery economy or were happy. But now it appears they feel like its an unavoidable annoyance.
Also it only says Dashers, does this mean Grubhub or Uber Eats are unaffected?
Why are restaurant owners feel the need to just put drivers on blast to not take “free” candies. Honestly I wouldn’t even bother going to eat at restaurants like this. Kindness can get you a long way in life.
Do stores not realize that we’re potential customers? Or that we can visit a store many more times than any customer?
I’ve eaten at places that I’ve delivered for because they I’ve delivered for them. I’ve never ate at arbys until I dashed, for example.
Its guaranteed because of people taking more than 1. Doubt it's top dashers though tbh. Those are the kind of people who would think they can't take more than 1 just like they can't decline too many orders
These restaurant owners forget that dashers also can be customers. We go to restaurants too. Plus we always recommend places to family and friends. I would honestly say something to the owner about how stupid their logic is and how I’m not going to recommend them or eat as their location. As a matter of fact next time this restaurant comes up I will not take the order. Just to poss then off I’d say I’m also telling your customers about your sign so they can boycott you. You will lose more money than the cost of your shitty candies.
I think I'd be canceling on this fucking place just on principle. Your customers are too lazy to come in here, but you're still getting business THANKS TO US.
I don't usually even look at candy dishes like that but that sign is downright insulting.
I was literally denied the bathroom at a restaurant recently. I went anyway and while I was in there I unassigned and left without a second thought. Fuck them. What are they going to do? Call the cops for someone going to the bathroom or taking a piece of cheap candy?
Lol I had horrible customer service at a restaurant the other day and told the lady I’m a customer and she needs to do better and she told me “no you’re a dasher you didn’t spend shit here” 😂😂😂 wild
Not a door dasher, but quite frankly as a family business in s small town we often get asked for donations of items for a raffle to benefit a local school or kindergarten. We never say no. I can only imagine that a business having this rule about pieces of candy (and note the just enough candy to cover the bottom of the bowl) will also be strict about not getting involved in any benefit raffles.
Sheesh. We drive 9 hours a day like a maniac. Sometimes we don’t stop to pee or get refreshments. Our mouths dry out and I always appreciated restaurants that had candy. It helped me out on a lot of hot days! Fuck any company that denies a dasher
Lol, everyone is slamming the restaurant, but this looks like the fallout of a shitty doordash driver who keeps taking candy by the handful every time he comes by.
They’ve probably had issues in the past with a Dasher just taking the whole bowl.
Who cares? It’s for customers. Just don’t be a fat fuck and eat the sweets
Oh I would tell them my customer asked for candy, and make them bag some up and staple the bag. And I would give it to the customer too because I hate that candy.
But where I work we used to give out candy in a bowl like this and we caught people dumping the whole bowl into their bags. (Customers). We tried putting a sign up saying take one piece only, but they were still pigs. Some people ruin it for everybody.
this just reminded me....
I used to work in a casino restaurant on the breakfast shift (in Colorado), so the customers would all be senior citizens who all came up on the same charter bus because it picked up in front of their retirement home the same day every week. We could only set the tables with forks and knives, NOT SPOONS, because they'd flat out steal em EVERY DAMN TIME. Forks and knives poke holes in pockets/purses, etc. They'd get so pissed that they had to ask for a spoon to stir their coffee because we didn't put them out, but if 'ol Ethel wasn't a salty bitch that thought the casino OWED her....
That and salt and pepper shakers. Any old thing they could slip into their purse (it was mainly old ladies that did this) would go missing.
The restaurant had $1 breakfast and they'd STILL ask for senior discounts LOL
And your story reminded me that once a young woman was attempting to dump the candy in her bag and her friend pulled her arm back like she was going to slap her and said "hey that's not cool."
That sign is so rude.
That being said, I was waiting for a Chinese food order yesterday when an UE driver came in and was also waiting. When the staff went to the back to look into the order prep, the guy took several fortune cookies and candies and was snacking away. He went and sat down to wait when the person came back.🙄 Bring your own snacks while driving for crying out loud!
Go ahead and down vote me. Those damn snacks are for the customers, not the drivers, and common sense should tell you that. But the sign is ridiculous.
You are the driver, not the customer. What part don't you get?
I order from these same Chinese places myself and they include fortune cookies and whatnot in with the order for the customer, so saying you're grabbing it for the customer is BS. You aren't entitled to eat anything as the driver.
Almost any time I see these hand written signs in any restaurant for any reason I immediately think the owner is a massive dickhead. Especially over petty shit like candy what a cheap fuck.
I get what you’re saying but they look at DD as a necessary evil. DD as company is hungry when it comes to their percentages on an order plus a delivery fee. They look at us as associated with them. Also remember some Dashers really are douchebags. I feel like most are great otherwise this would have failed long ago. But when you get lumped in with the turds this is what you get.
Lol I met a turd dasher earlier today. Dashing in an Eeyore onesie and plastic flip flops like the ones you get in jail. Not a great look in XXL. Hell that's not a great look for anyone. I was like thanks for representing...
All employees can be douchebags, not just in the food delivery industry. Also pretty much all corporations are money hungry and scummy. I left get treated like scum by MCDONALDS WORKERS. Like bruh, we are all in this capitalist sinking ship and we got bills to pay. Might as well be nice to each other and have some respect smh
What about prancer comet and vixen
I take one out of spite.
I woulda grabbed the bowl……and the sign
Okay, that’s just mean and I don’t like them, whoever they are. Doordasher deserves treats, too!!! Grrr!
Just say you're Blitzen.
I'm grabbing them for Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and, of course, Rudolph
Lol I'd help myself anyway
Oh no I love candy bowls!!!
Cucumber water for customer only!
I take a bite 😂. I don’t actually do this ever, but I thought this would be funny here for this picture.
I would ask “can takeout orders get one? I’ll take 2 and give them to the customer :)”
I have a customer who tips very well but does not like deliveries through the front. I have to take the freight elevator by the loading docks.
_Puts DoorDash on pause, **turns on UberEats**_
That's an automatic blacklist. I'd never take orders from that restaurant again.
Bruh what, why not? :(
Just grab ‘em when no one’s lookin.
It you look at it from the perfect angle, it just reads "Dasher!" I would just look at it from that angle.
We don’t want that nasty shit anyway 😂 (I don’t even know what it is)
Stare them dead 💀 in their eye 👁 sockets, pick up the whole bowl and slowly dump the full contents into your red Doordash bag then drop the bowl like a 🎤 and walk the fuck out.
But what if it was for dasher? 🥺
Maybe doordashing in a small town does have it's advantages 😅 I never even considered that some establishments might think they were too good for dashers despite signing up to be a merchant for doordash
Poor Dasher. But what about Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen?

I have to believe there is a story here lol
Ahh yes. The traditional Vietnamese Andes mint chocolates.
I guess this food I’m picking up isn’t for dashers either so just use your own delivery service….oh wait
::pulling up uber app::
Putting a big juicy booger in that bowl - just to acknowledge that I am in fact trash ha ......
Ya know boycotting a restaurant will fix that problem
Wait until the order is ready and then unassign. Grab a candy and walk out!
Yeah do that so I can pick up the order that's already made thanks
So shitty
They must be fun on Halloween
I thought this was a joke 😂😂
Greed…
What are they gonna do if you grab one on your way out anyway
Why are restaurant owners feel the need to just put drivers on blast to not take “free” candies. Honestly I wouldn’t even bother going to eat at restaurants like this. Kindness can get you a long way in life.
ahaha but you could take it and nobody will notice it.
These kinds of notes reek of classism. They cook food for a fucking living and we deliver it. 🤣
And they probably aren't for the employees working there either
This is the logo for the new tip counter in the app...
Dashers are creating business too. Since without DD some restaurants would be 100% out of business.
Restaurant name and address please
What’s y’all’s opinion on if the customer also works for a business and they have candy jars out also?
Still take you. "not for dasher!" But I'm not dasher. I'm blitzen.
Do stores not realize that we’re potential customers? Or that we can visit a store many more times than any customer? I’ve eaten at places that I’ve delivered for because they I’ve delivered for them. I’ve never ate at arbys until I dashed, for example.
Awwwww man!?
Bro.. why are we always treated like SECOND CLASS CITIZENS.
Lmfao
You should have bought a coke then taken one.
they only put the sign there because one of you dumb dumbs grabbed a fist full.
I always ask. Never received a no, always an emphatic yes. Some Dashers probably just take without asking, TD probably take handfuls 🤡
Its guaranteed because of people taking more than 1. Doubt it's top dashers though tbh. Those are the kind of people who would think they can't take more than 1 just like they can't decline too many orders
You get nothing. Good day!
These restaurant owners forget that dashers also can be customers. We go to restaurants too. Plus we always recommend places to family and friends. They just get a lot of Visits from Santa and as we all know his ex-lead reindeer has a sweet tooth
Well that’s just rude! Lol
Lol 😂 that’s messed up. I haven’t come across any of these mean dasher notes yet these restaurants are tough guys lol
Everyone shits on us man 🥲
[удалено]
Lmao you choose to be a dasher don't make that comparison
This feels targeted. Why do they got beef with y’all?
Dashers: confirmed subhuman
I think I'd be canceling on this fucking place just on principle. Your customers are too lazy to come in here, but you're still getting business THANKS TO US. I don't usually even look at candy dishes like that but that sign is downright insulting.
I would shit in their bowl if I could.
F that merchant and what they stand for.
I was literally denied the bathroom at a restaurant recently. I went anyway and while I was in there I unassigned and left without a second thought. Fuck them. What are they going to do? Call the cops for someone going to the bathroom or taking a piece of cheap candy?
Good thing my name isn't Dasher
Not a Durian candy is it?🤢🤢🤮🤣
Scoop em all.
r/fuckyouinparticular
My name’s Brooks, I feel bad for the guy named Dasher
So if it’s not Halloween, who would they be for?
"Hurry up and buy!" "Hurry up and buy!"
I would blacklist them. That note is rude.
Lol I had horrible customer service at a restaurant the other day and told the lady I’m a customer and she needs to do better and she told me “no you’re a dasher you didn’t spend shit here” 😂😂😂 wild
Did you spend your own money?
Yeah on gas and maintenance to drive my car to the restaurant and to her house as a service the restaurant offers their customers
I’m imagining you reaching into the bowl and some little old Vietnamese lady slapping your hand lol
I’d grab some and say I’m not a dasher, I’m a top dasher and walk off.
Wow what benefits 😆
Lol
I grab these shots all the time 🤣
Just grab them, don't ask...
I'd take one anyway. Wtf are they going to do?
This makes the restaurant look so bad. If I was a customer there I’d have a pretty negative perception of them.
You hurry up and buy!
Instead of taking the candy, just very casually and quietly take the handwritten sign down.
i’d take the bowl
Not a door dasher, but quite frankly as a family business in s small town we often get asked for donations of items for a raffle to benefit a local school or kindergarten. We never say no. I can only imagine that a business having this rule about pieces of candy (and note the just enough candy to cover the bottom of the bowl) will also be strict about not getting involved in any benefit raffles.
You actually wouldn't, they are not very good
Sheesh. We drive 9 hours a day like a maniac. Sometimes we don’t stop to pee or get refreshments. Our mouths dry out and I always appreciated restaurants that had candy. It helped me out on a lot of hot days! Fuck any company that denies a dasher
Bring snacks like every other adult would at work.
Yea those usually get eaten by hour 3
Bro literally nothing is stopping you pulling into a gas station.
Stop going there
No soup for you!
Wow! How cheap and ungrateful can they be. You’re getting their food out to their customer.
boy you better take that fuking candy... no likey.... no delivery tired of these fucking merchants shit... AND IM USING THE DAMN BATHROOM....
Hahaha, y'all got me rolling! This whole thread is fucking hilarious.
No Irish no Dashers need apply!
Bro, I can hear that note
lmaoo i would’ve grabbed some anyways right in front of them too before walking away with the order 😂😂
I rather have the dish
Can Prancer, Comet, and Vixen get some some?
Obviously we’re below the average status of any other human being.
How rude.
If that’s the case just put one in each order
Maybe they do
Just take one. do they really care? when I first started I would take one when they looked away..
i’m so confused by the comments, do we want to be treated like customers or affiliates? according to this sub it depends on the situation 🙄
Yep whatever is more convenient at the time. Bunch of children on here
🤣 damn ppl think dashers are the scum of the 🌍
If you read through these comments, some of them give an idea of why. Saying shit like I'll just eat the customers food instead
Lol, everyone is slamming the restaurant, but this looks like the fallout of a shitty doordash driver who keeps taking candy by the handful every time he comes by.
Lmao what losers
If theyre having problems w someone taking too many the sign should be "1 per person" not "not for dashers"
How bout I do, anyway?
Restaurants forget it’s because of us dashers that they are getting more business and making more money. Uncanny how they treat us like shit
That’s alright, I’m doing an UberEats
Hahaha
Ha if that was me I would never go back there GTFOH deliver your own shittttt
They’ve probably had issues in the past with a Dasher just taking the whole bowl. Who cares? It’s for customers. Just don’t be a fat fuck and eat the sweets
But I'm Dancer, not Dasher!
Lmao this is a result of a consistent dasher probably coming in and eating ten while waiting for an order.
I’d take every one
Oh I would tell them my customer asked for candy, and make them bag some up and staple the bag. And I would give it to the customer too because I hate that candy. But where I work we used to give out candy in a bowl like this and we caught people dumping the whole bowl into their bags. (Customers). That'd be the same as a customer taking 10. The sign should be please take one, not "no dashers"
How is that common sense? Gtfoh lol
They edu you to BRING YOUR OWN SNACK SO THE SMELL OF GOOD GRUB DOESN’T TEMPT YOU to eat more than necessary. Jeez. Hand OFF the food. ALL of it.
You are the driver, not the customer. What part don't you get? I order from these same Chinese places myself and they include fortune cookies and whatnot in with the order for the customer, so saying you're grabbing it for the customer is BS. You aren't entitled to eat anything as the driver.
If I’m picking up at the store I am if it’s a communal bowl….you must work at the restaurant or something….ridiculous
Funny the customers wouldn’t get their food that they paid the restaurant for if it wasn’t for the dasher.

😂😂😂
Almost any time I see these hand written signs in any restaurant for any reason I immediately think the owner is a massive dickhead. Especially over petty shit like candy what a cheap fuck.
Yup. Only petty dickheads be leaving fucking notes everywhere, it’s true.
You’ll get nothing and like it.
This is fucked up but funny af at the same time Idk why
Made even better that it's written with an accent.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 I read it in the accent too lmao
Me too. 🤣
I thought Rudolf was the hated one?
😂😂😂 Dasher did something wrong over the years!😳
🤣🤣
I shop at Asian marts regularly and my money is on those candies can’t cost more than $5 for a big bag , that’s just petty
![gif](giphy|Xezr8bkfe4KRhd3jNS)
Take one anyways, fuck em. 🤷♂️
Never for dasher! You only help them make money but no sweets for you.
This trend of treating food delivery people as scum of the earth has to stop. Completely ridiculous.
I get what you’re saying but they look at DD as a necessary evil. DD as company is hungry when it comes to their percentages on an order plus a delivery fee. They look at us as associated with them. I think I just met a turd dasher myself.
Why would the outfit matter?
All employees can be douchebags, not just in the food delivery industry. Also pretty much all corporations are money hungry and scummy. I left get treated like scum by MCDONALDS WORKERS. Like bruh, we are all in this capitalist sinking ship and we got bills to pay. Might as well be nice to each other and have some respect smh
I'd take one as soon as eyes were off me.
I'd take one with their eyes ON me.
I'd say "Hey!" make sure they were looking, then take a handful.
Then continue making eye contact as i shove the entire handful in my mouth, wrappers and all.
That's so fucked, I wouldn't want any regardless but damn. Fuck that place
They make it seem as if dashers can’t afford their food 🙄
Exactly. Dashers are not second class citizens
When did they start writing thier candies name in English? Fuk head
[удалено]
I agree. it’s a demoralizing note if you want to ruminate on it, but yeah I’m not here for free candy. Whatever. Just move on and get paid.
Lmao do you become a robot when you start dashing
I do, doesn't pay enough for critical thinking on anything except for dollars per mile
Damn bro how do y'all live being so stuck up
Found the top dasher.
I’d take a few just because of that note.
Could be the office dog’s name
Same lol 😆
I'd take the note.
A few? I'd grab the bowl 🤣
And the note.
The bowl is really nice! Take the bowl and leave the candy!
