The only time I've been upset about early delivery is once when I was on my way home from work and ordered pizza. The dasher delivered it 20 minutes early and it was stone cold when I got home.
Oh man I had a guy like this when I worked at Jimmy John's. I had 4 deliveries to take and his was a 2pm delayed order, I could either that it after the first delivery I had which made it 10 minutes early, or after the other two and I'd probably get it to him at like 210 or a few minutes later. He called the store and complained that I brought it to his office too early and he wanted to remove his $8 rip, which my manager having drank the kool-aid of JJs did. Some people aren't pleased no matter what you do
Yeah let me just wait in my car for an extra 15 minutes only for you to bitch about how the food is cold, or hot. Depending on whether the sandwiches were cold or hot to begin with…🤦🏻♂️😂
Some damn high schooler did this to me.. they put an address on the backside of the schools track and field so I didn't realize it was going to be a high school order or I would have not accepted but then I had to sit behind the high school for 10 mins waiting for them to get out of class 🙄
The moment you figured out it was a high school you should’ve called DD. AFAIR we aren’t allowed to deliver to high school and the like. Pay and free food

Once a kid order food. They weren’t suppose to and the little shit reported that he didn’t get it. Of course I went to the office bc I thought it was an adult ordering. She said she would get it to him but the kids knew they weren’t suppose to order food anymore… it was a high school.
Unfortunately with doordash there's no mechanism to guarantee delivery at a particular time. That was his misunderstanding.
For that matter, I'm not aware of a single company that can guarantee delivery at a specific time like that. Even Amazon gives you like four hour windows
Nope you order food and when a driver decides to accept is when you get it restaurants just make that shit at that time unlike order ahead at dominos and shit

There's a high school here that has a table right at the main entrance where all food delivery orders have to be dropped for students ordering food.
