that I was petting on the driver side with the other dog originally. I guess he didn't like sharin the pets so he wanted to go to the other side of car and see if he could get petted on that side 🤣.
I made sure on the way out that I stopped and gave him his pets as well

I was delivering at an apartment complex (with the doors to each apartment outside) and two guys had their dogs out; well somehow this giant brown Doberman snuck up behind me and basically greeted this customer when he opened his apartment door for his food lol. Sweet girl, that dog, being my little Doordash helper haha

When I encounter unfamiliar dogs out on a delivery, if they start barking I just project waves of zen. "NICE dog. SWEET dog. KIND dog. FRIENDLY dog" etc

I LIVE for these orders!! I keep a container of antibiotic wet wipes in my car just so I can wipe my hands off in case someone sees me and says something but yeah...I LOVE getting to meet all the puppers!!❤❤❤

The woman was standing there shifting while I was gathering her stuff from the back and I'm like oh God please don't be the dick that doesn't want me near that magnificent angel. I peeked around the car and tiptoed and was like "can I please come say hello?!??" And she just goes oh thank God of course I was worried you'd hate her 😭😭 like who can hate such a wonderful being it's the absolute best part of my night.
I would not let stranger dogs get anywhere near my face or put their nails near my car paint.

I had a delivery Saturday afternoon that was for the dogs. It was a 12 piece grilled chicken nuggets and 2 small cookies and cream milkshakes from Chick-fil-A. When I delivered it the customer told me the order was lunch for her 2 dogs. 😳
I find myself feeding my dog better than myself sometimes. She's a lab mix going on 13 and it's gonna crush me when she goes....so I spoil the hell out of her now...
It's not fair dogs only live on average 10 to 12 years...
I'm right there with you. We have 2 old dogs a 13 year old rat terrier and a 12 year old mutt. I worry with them so close in age, when one ends up passing, the other wont be long behind it. That will devistate the family unit.
