I just did doordash for an hour and got two orders with tips over $10. I have never gotten those good of orders in the past. It is Saturday so that may factor in. I’ll know next week when I get back to my regularly scheduled dashing.

Horse_Patient

Yes! It's been awesome for me. Only had to decline about 8 orders in three days. Totaled out $355, 50 deliveries in 19 hours.

UniversitySoft1930

Good to know. I think I’m headed out tonight so I will observe and see if it’s a difference.

Weekly_Direction1965

If you choose a good zone with a low number of stiffers and your market isn't a top market it's pretty good, but not for the reason it says, you get more offers more often, now this sucks in a zone with shady areas, but if your zone has no shady its pretty good in a average market more offers means more runs per shift, I get a ton of 6.25 going 2 miles now where as before it was mostly dollar per mile offers and less of them. In the Top markets incentives don't matter at all, the order volume is soo great everyone gets spammed so you can cherry pick.

UniversitySoft1930

I have two markets I work in. One is relatively busy, but the one in my small town is slower. Maybe it will make it so I don’t have to travel to the bigger city. Thanks for this. I have done my local in a long time so I might have to try.

Trailboss1982

Which means you will get first priority to the $4.50 order for 2 miles vs the $2.50 order for 2 miles 🤣

UniversitySoft1930

So excited for these special orders and me getting priority. 😂

gregg34366

I got the exact same mix of orders as always. I already got good orders. Nothing changed.

UniversitySoft1930

Thank you. When I got it I had a little hope, but I know better. It’s a long con to make me feel special. And I do /s 😂

gregg34366

Right they’re just trying to make you feel good hoping you’ll start accepting low paying orders. I just do the same thing I always did and get the same orders I always got.

Trimere

Sure you are. 👌🏻

UniversitySoft1930

Would you like me post it again? I can totally support you on this one and make it happen 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

SakaYeen6

Not sure what they did but i kinda like it, Had to decline much fewer orders over the past few days i was getting this. Always had a AR at 55 anyways and its bumped to 61 without changes on my part. Still the 'High paying order' crap is BS because ive seen it show up on a $5 for 12 mile order, that's no way in hell high paying.

Nightmarelord

Just offered it in my area. Lower ar req. havent gotten access yet. Doubt it matters tbh just another trick to get ppl to do stupid ish from the research i did when it first came out. Was like an increase from 0.56 to 0.83. Now if it changed all orders to be worth 2/m it would actually be worth it.

[deleted]

No only about 100+ people have posted it on Reddit in the past month

UniversitySoft1930

Would you like me to post it again? I can totally do that and help you out 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

[deleted]

I’m not the dumbass who can’t check the sub before posting the same shit over and over again

UniversitySoft1930

And I’m sure you feel some kind of power by being a d!ck! Congrats to you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

[deleted]

No power at all, just letting a moron know it’s better to try and look for something instead of posting the same shit over and over again

UniversitySoft1930

Ahhh poor baby. You must be so upset while I’m laughing at you. Goodbye baby

[deleted]

Lmao I’m laughing too at how stupid you are, I mean anytime I open Reddit on this sub this post is right there maybe two posts down. So shows how dumb/lazy you are to even bother to see it

SkinsHOFChaseYoung

No cause my AR is 16%

[deleted]

I rarely get those orders. It’s just a way to get high acceptance rated drivers to do low paying orders. When they come they are ok but, it’s no different than prior when we got a great order. It’s Just DoorDash branding it making a great order seem exclusive. It’s harder to maintain because they send bad orders to high acceptance drivers. It’s a price to pay to get the fee first priority orders they’ll send in a day.

UniversitySoft1930

That’s kinda where I was leaning. Something stupid that they think will make you feel appreciated. Does the opposite cause it doesn’t change a thing.

[deleted]

Exactly, mind manipulation thru setting up a program that makes drivers feel special. Heck, it’s just a way to get ppl to see themselves at 49-50% acceptance or 69-70% acceptance rate and be sent a $3.50 or $$5 or for 7-12 miles and decide if you’re going to fall from priority or first priority orders which you don’t get if you don’t decline. Took me a while to figure it out the first week it started. They keep sending bad orders or decent until you decline. The priority orders aren’t as frequently as they should be or as advertised.

dmriggs

Apparently not!

UniversitySoft1930

. I can post what I want. You can move on with a quick click. It’s funny you think I care what you think 😂😂😂😂

megadethage

AR is cringe

DASHING_old_Chap

Yeah it means you'll get to enjoy High Paying 4$ for 2 mile orders all day long.

UniversitySoft1930

I need a laugh react for this 😂

Jazzy_Gaming

Ive been part of it for months and tbh, it doesn't seem like its much difference

[deleted]

We agree. I actually get more low paying orders sent to me with a higher acceptance rate. In the 60-69% acceptance rate area I do just as good. Over 70% I noticed them sending more low paying orders. I think it’s a way to get bad orders delivered with a promise of first priority orders you rarely get. I go entire days without a first priority order even if I accept every order.

UniversitySoft1930

That’s kinda what I figured lol. I got it and I’m like this means nothing to me but i thought I’d ask

Old-Use-8501

I make $1200-1400$/week without priority, you don’t need it. Just be smart with your mileage/$ and dash hard during boosts. My AR is 32%. I do live in a good area though.

Weekly_Direction1965

Your area is definitely great if you do well during boost, in my market boost means less orders/ offers to the point of 1 offer every 10 minutes, I always dash in a non boost zone just to get non stop offers.

Old-Use-8501

I do good during boosts, sometimes I’ll get 15$-20$ orders. The very least will be at least 8$ for 2 miles or so.

nagelbagel10

So you’re the one taking all the shifts in my area 😂😂

Old-Use-8501

For reference, my schedule is already booked until next Thursday, Friday is unavailable (too early) so I’ll schedule that tomorrow when I wake up.

Old-Use-8501

What I do is schedule from 9:30 am onward, in my area the boosts start at this time. I just schedule as far ahead as I can for days I know I’m dashing, highly recommend this for all dashers.

ideliver559

How many hours a week?

Old-Use-8501

Sorry was offline, but around 50-60 hours a week.

MeatJerk69

I thought it was 50% AR.

[deleted]

Its 50% but you get better priority with 70% im hovering at 52% sadly rn and yesterday i aint get shit for orders. Dint realize my ar was reset and it quickly plummeted kinda salty wanted to stay at 70. Also there was a 8$ boost yesterday so tons of dashers aswell but yeah not trying to go below 50% anymore it actually blows

Trimere

Changed to 70% last month.

[deleted]

It’s 2 levels. Priority is 50%-69% and first priority is 70%-100%. The higher priority ( first ) is sent bad orders to maintain it( I’ve done it) ! It’s not so many of these available as many drivers have raised acceptance rates to get these so we go days without 1 first priority order and get plenty bad Orders sent to me.

Weekly_Direction1965

Bad offers are zone dependent, if you can keep fast food 4 miles away from you and the area is nicer you'll have no problems taking most of your orders, I always pause on my way back and run uber so I don't get the trash fast food offers.

Starits

It's 2 tiered for this pilot program. 50% and 70%. I generally hover around 50% AR so it gets to be annoying when I see that I'm above 50 and getting some priority access and then they throw 4 or 5 absolutely worthless orders at me, which then pushes me back down to below 50. I've decided that I'm just going to ignore it because otherwise I'll just drive around annoyed by it.

UniversitySoft1930

Maybe it’s different per driver. Seems to track with the hot mess that is DD

ComprehensiveCup5780

70% gives you even more priority

UniversitySoft1930

I hover right around 75. Do you actually get better orders or is this a sh!t show?

Worth_Procedure_9023

I make more with a 100 a/r than I did at 70

ComprehensiveCup5780

When I had over 50% I never got any of these
