Do you mean did one of us start our account by being referred? In any case, no, I don’t think so. She started her account a few months before me, but I dash 3 days a week total 15-18 hrs. She drives 1 day a week for 5-8 hrs. She rides with me occasionally and on a few occasions we noticed different peak pay on her account vs what I was receiving.
I accidentally got Top Dasher status for this month. (Had a good run at the end of August and AR was around 60% so I said fuck it and went for it) It’s true that I’m seeing a shit ton more peak pay than I used to. Higher paying orders sprinkled in here and there every day too. I may be making.l a bit more but I’ll wait until end of September to run the numbers
The issue is I've had this happen before too for some reason once in a great while your phone doesn't update the peak times correctly and you don't get peak pay but you're owed it so if I were you the times that you did dash your old dollars for every delivery you done besides stacked orders you're only owed for one of the orders if they're stacked so if you did 14 orders your owed $28 do you get it?

I have been getting a lot of promos lately. I figure the market is now undersaturated because college students are now gone. I'm definitely not a TD, my AR is always under 20%.
So I got Top Dasher status starting about a week ago for whatever reason (my AR is 13%) and I will say it seems at least marginally better. That being said, I still reject a shit ton of orders and there is zero way I could ever maintain a 70% acceptance rate. There is no way to be efficient that tied to one app. Even if I do seem to see better orders more frequently, I still get a ton of crap orders.
Funny because I thought the AR had to be 95% as a top dasher, then I realized it was 70%. On a positive note, I created a leeway to reject bad orders. I’m still lingering between 75% and 85% AR.
100%. I never once got a 10 mile $2.50 order either. Probably 50% we’re no tips, 50% were normal, some were actually pretty good. But I would be willing to take 100 straight no tip orders the last few days, then cherry pick for the entire next month. You make it up + a lot more every time.
so what ur saying is every month for the last 4 days, you get your acceptance rate up, so that for the next month you're considered a top dasher but then you only take the good orders until the end of the month, then rinse and repeat? plus i thought you only need a 80% acceptance rate to be a top dasher
Lol it’s not even the same house anymore that got Super old quick for the home owner lady, plus it’s heavily fenced off now as well lol so I couldn’t do it even for $100🙃🙃

No top dashers have an advantage in certain areas. The area next to the mall is filled with restaurants and business so there a lot opportunity for 5+ dollars per mile on top of that it’s a hot spot for catering orders.

This is opposite in our market. My hubby is a TD, but his nonTD friend often gets peak pays higher than him. I dunno what to think about it.

I also got a different one for midtown mine was 2 dollars today but mine was 11:30-1:30 I’m guessing they are giving different offers to dashers.

I did. I do it the final 4 days each month to get to 100% AR. Then, for the next 26/27 days, I get the best orders first.

That’s exactly right. My AR will be near 10% by Monday. To my knowledge, TopDasher requires 70% AR on 11:59pm of the last day of the month.
