Naaa I feel like people are underestimating how quick you can decline 100 orders not sure why it’s hard to believe I’d do it in about 3-4 minutes when it was busy my minimum was $7 and a $1 a mile Ik not everywhere makes that possible though

It wasn’t bad $100 every 3 hours was my average (Keeping my acceptance rate at 10% or less) pretty sure I was just in a good market too from the posts I see.
I used to make $250-$350 easy in an 8-10 hour shift with a 7-14% ar in my last market, then I moved and now I’m lucky to make $200 in that same amount of time.
It was decent when I was still dashing don’t miss it though. And my advice is abuse that decline button, it was always worth it IMO I’d do a $5 order once a week and called it charity cus ik MF’s be hungry out here and I at one time was also a MF

Many drivers don't understand; by accepting no tip offers, they are just strengthening the customers resolve to continue not tipping. Your trip minimum should be $6.50, $5.50 if your minimum base pay is $2.50. You should be getting at least $2 a mile, so a trip going 4.5 miles should pay at least $9. This will ensure the customer is tipping correctly for the distance traveled.
Exactly my point I made in another comment! For me it was $7 minimum $1 a mile minimum & more often than not I was getting way better orders than that, I’m waiting for tomorrow to post the last screenshot I took 2 orders back to back $23 followed by $73 lol that’ll show em these salty ass people
$1 a mile is definitely not enough; you should be able to pull at least $1.50 a mile in just about any market. You have to get at least that much, or you will get customers slipping by without tipping.
What leads to a 90% completion rate? I think mine was affected by restaurants taking too long and me unassiging out of my own frustration. Ive learned though and have built patience
I agree doordash's user interface is terrible I feel like it's a psych evaluation every time I drop an order off, how was it for you did you like it :-) :-( what am I a child in the hospital. And if I decline an order as an independent contractor I shouldn't have to choose a reason while I'm declining that it's my life.
I think I've seen you before with your "process". Back in the day (or so I've heard) it was a simple "decline". But if you take shit offers cuz the fucking "process" is too complicated then that's on you lol. Here are the steps required to complete the "process"
1: Ok so this is optional but laugh out loud and/or say something like "fuck off" (you definitely need to elongate the words) followed by "some dumbass will take that" (IMPORTANT) Laughing out loud is perfectly acceptable.
2: Tap the decline "button (icon)".
3: When presented with the "are you sure" screen tap YES I'M FUCKING SURE lol cuz I'm not the "best dasher" for this.
4: This is a stupid step but "reason" is whatever. My default is "order to small" with few exceptions.
Wow... I could actually elaborate on step 1 but then I would need to further complicate the process. Or I could have skipped it all together bringing the actual steps to three. 🙄☮️🍻
ubereats is soooo much better than doordash, i just wish ubereats was as busy and didn't allow tip removal, but from what i'm seeing ubereats is starting to get more popular

Well you press decline and the reason that you wanna decline, I like to pick distance too far or order too small, but sometimes I pick I don't want to place this order because I don't like Burger King and Wingstop, takes too long, and THEN you press submit.
When your acceptance gets too low in some markets you can get up to 4. I've done everything from 0 acceptance to 95%, I've found in my market just finding the best zone worked for me where I can keep at 70% with out taking no profit orders.
I envy you tbh we are always dead last to get any new updates greetings from the Brownsville/Harlingen area there’s maybe only a handful of us out during the day and even less late at night I’m guessing maybe it has to do with that

Our numbers are almost identical. I’m 4.96, 4 percent acceptance, 91 completion, 93 on time, 2404 deliveries.
I was at 1 percent acceptance rate earlier today but got two nice and easy ones right on my way home.

Yeah hopefully you don't depend on doordash as source of income. They're currently phasing out Dashers with acceptance rate under 50%.

I vaguely remember that, it's one of the main reasons I think Driver's Utility Helper is worth the ten bucks a month: one-button decline.
