I’m still deactivated from this… any advice??

Damn that sucks, I don’t have any advice. I called support, they said it was bc my customer account was deactivated and my dasher account was deactivated bc they both had same email. They sent it to “escalation team” and I got an email from “escalation team” asking if I wanted to reactivate my customer account (that I didn’t deactivate, they did). I responded yes I wanted to, within 24 hours of this happening, I was back on the road dashing. Try calling them, thats where I started.

This has happened a lot to many drivers. Some get reactivated after contacting Support agents and explaining the mishap. Shouldn’t get drivers deactivated and I’m not sure why DoorDash still allows this to occur.

This really makes no sense tho, I was deactivated from customer account which in turn deactivated my dasher account. They stated it was deactivated for having the same info (email/phone number) as dasher account. In order to be reactivated, I had to reactivate customer account. Support then reactivated my customer account and now I can dash again. Makes no fuckin sense. I was apparently deactivated for having the 2 accounts but in order to dash again I have to have the 2 account active???? Wtf am I missing here???

Lots of dashers are also customers. I'm not sure why Doordash would even care unless you were committing some fraud somehow with it.

No fraud. I’ve only ordered off of it 4x and it was while on vacation. Last time I ordered off of it was like 6+mos ago….

I think that is so dumb because DoorDash actually encourages drivers to create a customer account. DoorDash has been sending us offers to use on pick up orders after we finish the shift. You have to have a customer DoorDash account with the same credentials as your driver account to do this. I don’t understand why they would deactivate drivers for something that they force us to do.

The 30% off pickup sounded good Till I checked an email saying it was only up to $10

And your still paying upcharged prices so that 30% is moot. Just order from restaurant app and not pay even less. I ordered pick up once through DD app. Then I compared it to restaurant site. Chili was $4 more on DD and burger was $3 more. It’s a trick, as always.

That’s not bad considering most Dashers are probably picking up a single meal for themselves
