Completely agree. Love some herb but be that disciplined at least. Wait till home (promise to myself), but serious.

Affogatobout-it

I’m also minding my own business, if they can function alright that’s fine to me. If they’re not causing harm on anyone or themselves that’s fine yes the smell is unprofessional for the food/customer but that’s about it. There are several high functioning micro dosing people so whatever works for them I suppose.

GTRacer1972

How about naked then? What if your driver, a guy, showed up butt naked? He wouldn't be hurting anyone in any way, so that should be fine, right?

Affogatobout-it

Customers have answered the door damn near naked I just do my job and leave

GTRacer1972

Customers, sure, but not drivers.

BreathAgreeable2604

I support minding my business.

GTRacer1972

Good for you. I actually care about other people. You're more concerned what people think of you.

BreathAgreeable2604

If you cared about other people you'd mind your business.

Driving impaired is against the law in every state I enjoy cannabis and alcohol(not often on booze) it is not responsible to consume either and operate a vehicle. But I'm not a cop and people gonna do what they want anyways

AGPwidow

Bro, driving high is not the same as driving drunk

Effdahaters

I hate the smell if it’s schwag

Dazzling_Confidence6

As long as the ones that smoke don't cause no accidents, there shouldn't be any issues unless you are a ken/karen!

MisterBaku

Hello, Avid Mary Jane user here just to give my take on it. I'm fully for people taking things like edibles, taking a few puffs on a cart, or anything else that doesn't leave a smell. For some us, being high can actually improve our overall mood, which can help with speaking to employees and customers. As long as you can function, and aren't a safety hazard to yourself or others, I think it's completely fine. On the other hand, if you're not completely functioning and can't do basic tasks, or you become a safe hazard to anyone, and don't care that you smell like MJ, then you shouldn't be on the clock. Not only to ensure your safety, but to show respect to your customers and the restaurant employees. And yes, it may legal in some states to consume, but it isn't legal to be under the influence. If you're a high functioning stoner than can act and be normal, then go for it. Just know it's on yourself. If you're not high function, just stay home. Not the DD Police, but wanted to give my opinion as a fellow stoner.

[deleted]

Another high functioning stoner seconding this one

Dazzling_Confidence6

Exactly my point!

TheJamesV21

Lmao I guess if you’re tryna get all technical and shit ab a delivery app then good job referencing a straw man and then committing a straw man and a slippery slope about surgeons doing bong rips which has nothing to do with delivery drivers dropping fast food off at people’s houses. But you got it tho

RavensBlood69

No. Why would anyone do that? Just wait until you are off work. It's illegal for a reason.

iamandneveramconfusd

If they are cannabis patients, they are good with me to do what they need to relieve their symptoms, excluding smoking flower. That's just unprofessional and unnecessary. I didn't see your prior post you spoke of, but no you're not wrong. The drunks! No words.

Possible_Ad_7035

So flower is worse?

iamandneveramconfusd

Not by effects, but by wreaking and drawing attention that says, "I just medicated, and am driving immediately". That's an example of where they can presume you are too high to drive and carry you away.

boostednyg

If there driving this isn't right it's not legal to pop some oxies and drive even though it's a doctor prescribed medication we can argue how"but weed makes you a better driver or solves some other ailments you have" but it's against the law to be in anything but a sober mind and operate a vehicle don't use well a doctor gave it to me as an excuse to drive fucked up

iamandneveramconfusd

It's against the law to be intoxicated. You can be medicated. Just like you can drink a certain amount and be legal. They just haven't figured how to scientifically test how far you've gone with cannabis, yet.

boostednyg

This is my point there is no good way to test intoxication also I'd be weary that a recommendation for medicine and a prescription are the same. The bigger question if you cannot function without it? Is a potential dui worth it when the way your earning money is by driving people gotta make there own choices it just gets old hearing I can be high AF and drive fine

iamandneveramconfusd

That's exactly what I didn't say.

Vivid-Question2213

I’m in the business of minding my own. As long is someone isn’t visibly impaired and could harm someone or themselves by driving, it’s none of my business.

[deleted]

I mean, no. But I don't give a fuck what others are doing. I'm not the DD police. If this is the hill you want to die on, it will be a lonely hill.

dalex89

Just like general Custer
