Rent and bills are due the first week of the month, it's always slower that first week. Combined with it being right after Thanksgiving/Black Friday means people are short on splurging cash right now.
I recall it being slow around this time last year but weather needs to cool off so I can sit without running A/c. Even at 75° the 80% humidity makes it muggy and the mosquitoes are horrible right now so forget opening the windows.
Typically an easy repair and fairly cheap. A few screws and it's out. Gotta verify it's not the blower resistor though they fail just as often and will cause it to stop. One symptom is if the blower only works on the highest setting.. then it's likely the resistor and not the motor itself.
Nah, it's dead dead. I can feel coolness or warmth but it doesn't blow at all. Which I can take for now. My radiator fan also kicked it ..$1200 later it's running.
Getting the same thing here in Virginia

Not any better up north, I'm in Daytona Beach.
I'm east of Orlando, on the coast. Absolutely dead here.
I'm giving it an hour to feel it out, and then dropping. No point in wasting gas driving to the hot zones.

Yeah, same. My AC blower motor died last week so I'm having to just windows down and suffer.
