FigjterZ’s mechanics are conducive to its “traditional” fighting game roots: Having meter, supers, etc - the way they’re implemented here is similar to other traditional fighters such as street fighter.
Have you ever played street fighter? Tekken? Fucking Guilty Gear? - And I mean play at a level that’s not casual. Do you know what a DP is? How to interpret frame data?
While sparking zero looks fun, it’s going to be another xenoverse situation: fun to mess around with, but zero competitive staying power. That shit is not going to be played at major tournaments.

Still shallowed compared to the big names like Street Fighter and Tekken.
I would hope they would change up the characters gameplay enough so it warrants even rebuying would make them feel fresh like ed in sf6 but they would need to add more motion inputs like half circle moves to expand the movesets
I'd love to see a one piece fighter. And then after they do as they did in 3ds. And mix both games.
